The game didn't win over fans. The £9.99 upgrade price won over fans. I mean, i will be getting it too at that price but would never have paid full whack.

Glad i held out for photomode for my 3rd playthrough.

Wasnt going to bother getting this but for the price of a takeout i think i will do now considering i got the game for free in days of play offer way back. Not really paid alot of attention to it but looking on youtube it looms alot better.... and thats on my mobile phone.

Just another excuse to get people to upgrade their OG consoles. Guess i will be sticking to white. I do like that green one tho.

Few good bits in there for me. Monster hunter, Ghost, Stellar blade photo mode and Legacy of Kain. Disappointed that Dino c isnt getting a Resi 4 remake or atleast the Tomb raider treatment and will get a shoddy PS1 port. It deserves better than that.

Good stuff. These games were great.
If youd have told me Aspyr were heading the project before tomb raider was released id have said "Oh dear" but after playing the TR trilogy i think these games are in safe hands.

I certainly wont be sitting up until 11 to watch it. I will be disappointed over my coffee Wednesday morning instead.

Just played the opening. I forgot how magical this game is. A soon as i heard "Paris in the fall" it took me back to 96. What an absolute belter of a game. One of the very best! Its great to see the love for it here too. The voices are a little fuzzy tho 😦

Purchased this first thing thismorning. I absolutely looooooooved this game and i actually never completed it. I did get past that bloody goat in the origional tho.

On a side note @get2sammyb is there any news on Broken Sword reforged? Due for release tomorrow but still only "announced" on the ps5 store with no pre order or pricing. You guys heard anything?

@trymer89 Glad your enjoying Stellar. Its a fantastic game. Ive just got 1 more speedrun to get the plat but im waiting for a bit incase theres any more updates/costume releases etc. Great game tho.

I will be clearing up my plat of Astrobot before i sell it on to my buddy. After that... not sure. Something small as im waiting on Broken sword later in the month.

Just watched the credits roll and what an absolute joy to play every second of this game. What a tribute to PlayStations past and present and you can feel the love poured in to this game by Team Asobi. They deserve the sales and all the praise they get. Propper top quality game!

Yeah id be up for 3+4. Nearly git 1+2 in the sale yesterday for ps5. Loved the origionals and the remake for ps4

I think personally it should have launched a month or so out from Christmas and had a bigger marketing budget. The game is really good but then again so was Concrete genie and look how well that sold. Hopefully sales pick up physically and its sold gangbusters digitally as id hate for sony to think people sont like Astro and can any future games in the series. They like to do that.

The problem is it will only get worse because we, as gamers demand better graphics and performance and unfortunately that comes at a greater price with less impactfull results as time goes on. We then moan when that hardware and said price is presented to us. Theyve certainly priced me out of this one.

I would love one and could probarbly afford one but im not willing to pay £800 for a console i can play my disks on. Thats just rediculous imo. I will just stick with my OG ps5 and get myself the switch 2 and possibly build myself a gaming PC.

Echoing the majority of comments here. I would have bit if the system came with a drive as im due some bonus around that time but knowing i will need to buy extra components like the drive and the stand has turned me off the idea completely. I will just stick to my OG ps5. The worrying thing is how much the PS6 is gonna cost. I think the days of console gaming for me are over after this gen because i just cant afford to be dropping up to £1000 on a console.

Really enjoying Astro so far. 3 worlds down but im taking a break for a day or so as dont want to just fly through it. Ive not played a feel good game like this for so long. Its not hard, its not really a challenge but the game just oozes charm and character. Asobi deserve this and i hope that Sony take a good hard look and realise there is certainly space and a desire for more games like this.

@rjejr i can confirm there is a level with a climbing ape but im pretty sure as far as im aware its only a lvl or 2. Most world have their "special ability" but imo they are not overused. I liked the climbing ape one 😂. I think they look optional as from a "completing the story" point of view but to get all the bots, and i assume the plat they will need to be done @code45709 come on man, the levels arnt that hard and they are that short and load so fast theres not really much progress to make it back to where you last died. If they were like 5 minute long lvls and i was no where near the end i could understand but they can literally be cleared in just over a minute or 2. Hardest one ive found so far was a triangle one where every platform was glass. Probarbly took me about 10 attempts.

Just make something new.

The thing that pisses me off about this stars programme is that its all out of sync. Was looking yesterday and one of them was to purchase Wukong but as the objective was obvioustly released after the launch of the game, which is when i purchased it i didnt get the extra gold coins for completing the objective. Next time i wont buy a game on launch and just wait a week or 2 to see if they add it to the stars program.

@rjejr see, i disagree with that. Ues they are hard but the levels are very short so if you die you just restart without losing much progress. I enjoy the challenge on these levels. It brakes up the chill nature of the rest of the game as lets face it, its not a tough game in any way, shape or form.

@Fizzbang13 i do agree that the haptics and use of the speaker/mic is the best use of the DS controller to date.

Yes please, add more bots, time trials etc. Any excuse to play new content for this game. Cant wait to see the sales. Lets hope Sony fans have put their money where their mouth is otherwise we might get a Concord 2.

This is a shame. So much potential to elevate what the Crew has offered us so far. Its a shame they seem to have nailed the racing but dropped the ball on almost everything else.

Ive got this game sitting in front of me at work right now and i dont think ive wished an afternoon away as much as i am right now. I cant wait to get home and start it.

Agree with @Northern_munkey and the others. Glad the games doing well and it looks great but i wouldnt ever shell out more to play a few days early. Its a scum bag tactic.

@Czar_Khastik this is so ironic as i put a Beatles vinyl in my PS5. Great way to relax and unwind.

Just had a couple of hours on this and ya know what? Is wasnt bad. Takes some time to get used to nut i quite enjoyed it for a bit of a change.
