@Oram77 do you still get a radio giving off static when an enemy is around. I hate horror games but this is the only reason i could play SH as i could prepare myself lol.

@Yousef- yeah man. Some stuff to get exited about there for sure. Its Sonic that always seems to go wrong tho. Im not a lover of sonic tbh in general. I just find the pace too fast until you hit and enemy or a wall for my taste and old man reactions. It just seems alot of Sonic games get fried by the old school fans. Colours for instance.

@LiamCroft a bit late to this one but do you still get a radio that notifies you when enemy are close by? I dont like horror games and dont like jump scares even to this day and im now 41 but always remember back in the day being able to play Silent hill 2 and prepare myself for an incoming enemy due to the radio static notifying me when an enemy was in close proximity. Are there also jump scares in this game. TIA.

Sega have aome awsome IPs. Its when they try and maks a Sonic game that things usually go wrong.

Yeah ive had fun with this game. Althouh i didnt get the chance to grab all the DLC before it was put on ice the main game was a belter. I still think the rain effect are the best out there. Why oh why this studio was closed i have no idea. Imagine what a drive club for PS5 could look like.

I purchased 2 slims and stuck them together. Take that pro owners.

I really liked this game to begin with but just found it dragged ob a little too long in the final third. Good news on a sequel tho. It deserves one.

For me Astro and Stellar have been my favorite games this year so far. Both great experiences that deserve to do well and be recognised.

I echoe the above. Ive completed 1-4 and whilst they were ok i find them completely overrated when you consider the pedestal that some sit them on. The MCC would defenately be the way to go with ODST included(was it origionally included?) Id be much happier knowing Gears of war 1-3 was coming to PlayStation.

I will continue my play through on Xenoblade chronicles 2 on the switch. I did have the new Zelda last week but flipped it pretty quick as i didnt like it at all. I really dont like the way these new Zelda games seem to be heading and didnt like the stop start nature of Echoes while swapping on echoes and the auto style battle system at all. Give me a bloody sword. I guess im just stuck in the past.

I love that Teal coloured controller and plates but as sony are shafting OG adopters of the FAT ps5 i wont be able to make use of them and i dont think the wife will be too happy with me pre ordering another controller as ive just preordered the 30th anniversary edition and the PS portal too. Im already on thin ice and that could just cause it to break 🤣

@Member_the_game yes its very annoying and seems to be the case more and more lately. Im having the same issue with EA PGA. I can create a new character buy leveling up is now a chore and all of the challenges that grant XP are tied to the account and not a save file now ive done the majority of them with my first character i cant redo them with my 2nd one to get the xp again.

Yeah id take a big old Lego thunderjaw. Those things are badass.

@Jswift56 yeah man, sold my origional one a few months after launch so waaaay before BS came out. Its one id get for sure. I like rythem type games. Pistol whip was probarbly my fave of the games i had. Would really have loved blood and truth to have ported from the origional VR tho.

I going to grab another VR when its next on sale... If ever. Sold my 1st one when releases dried ul but i feel there's enough out there now to warrant one again. Will deffo have to match the last sale price tho.

Wont be buying anything on release day for the next couple of months on PS5. Pre ordered Mario Party on the switch to play with the fam but that will be until sales or somethingvreally takes my fancy.

Yeah it looks good n all but how close have we come with any game that looks like or has the physics of the Matrix demo? None. A small tech demo is 1 thing but implementing that in to a full blown game is something else. Especially when you think that production time would end up being even longer on games and they are too long as it is.

All the non parent making judgmental "be a real parent" comments is laughable. Times have changed since the 80s and 90 when kids were going out playing at the park. When i tell my daughter to go and get some air and go out with her friends she cant.... because they are all playing video games.
As long as school work is kept on top of, switch off time is abided by, she is aware that micro transactions are a no no and attitudes are in check her time is her own to spend with her friends, which is usually playing video games or watching tv shows. Id much rather know what my 15yo girl is doing by her being in her room chatting to her friends that her be out doing god knows what because whenever i see other girls of her age they've usually got a joint or a vape hanging in their hands walking about in belly tops, tight leggings/short skirts with makeup trowled all over their faces. I know what id rather my daughter be doing.

@Yousef- the first time i got caught by the Alien in isolation i literally had to take a break then i just didnt go back to it. I dont like suspense or horror in games or movies. Id love to get over it as ive missed some bangers by the sounds of it. Dunno why, its just something i cant do. Ive always been that way 😂 gives the fam something to laugh about tho 🤣

@Yousef- my kids are 18 and 19 and can handle horror better than i can. Its Dead space that i will struggle to play. Ive never done jump scare very well😂😂

@CrispyMango92 i actually nearly picked it up on the switch a month ago when it was on sale but forgot to. Ive got a portal on order but its one of the 30th anniversry ones so it wont be until november and as my wifes buying it for christmas it actually wont be until the end of December 😂. Looking forward to it tho.

Its the art style and the fact that to someone that doesn't know that it actually covers some dark topics could wonder why i was playing a game containing a bunch of school girls. Not the sort of game i would feel comfortable playing with my late teen kids or wife walking about the house.

I wouldnt buy a solely portable ps6 unless it was nowhere near the cost of the ps5 pro but id be interested in a hybrid like the switch on the basis that it didnt hold the home console back.

I will be continuing with my playthrough of Broken sword reforged. Got Zelda echoes but i will be selling it today as its really not my bag at all. Too far from the origional formula and far too much menu swapping for my liking.

Just a 30th standard controller and the 30th portal for me. Wife will pay for the portal for christmas for me.
