@Lup there's a bunch of other games that are revered as classics that launched with plenty of bugs and still have them to this day--Witcher 3 being an example. I am not trying to engage in a long debate with you but I think your focus is just on the positive response to a game you don't care for. Also if your rating metric does not factor in enjoyment and is strictly based on technical competency I would say you are in the minority there

It hasn't quite reached the 10/10 level of Bloodborne or Witcher 3 for me yet but I also have a ton left to do so we'll see by the time I finish it. 9/10 for now though and I love it

@Korgon It was mentioned in a review I watched but I am not sure if they just meant to imply that you could play offline, it didn't seem like it though! I like the messages too but I detest invasions and don't use co op so I usually just play offline

@Old-Red I'm certain you've seen at least one or two pieces of promotional material for Elden Ring you surely cannot be that upset about seeing one single enemy/character from the game. Its not a spoiler to see a small picture taken from the game and it does nothing to take away from actually experiencing it in the game, it will be completely different. Get over it or stay off the internet

I really wish Horizon and Elden Ring were dropping a couple of months apart its going to be hard not to buy both on release. I'm gonna wait for Horizon though and get it on discount since I know I won't be devoting any time to it for the first couple months

@playstation1995 I never understood the distaste for Deacon, Sam Witwer's performance was excellent in my opinion and the character arc was completely satisfying. I really loved Days Gone and would be thrilled with a sequel

It seemed like Now was on roll for a while with impressive additions, but it has slowed down quite a bit recently

Demon Souls was made in part to showcase the PS5's power and Elden Ring will run on PS4 so this should come as no surprise to anyone

Lots of backlash on this one haha, it is just one person's opinion on the games they enjoyed the most this year

@nessisonett Are you sure that you can assess all of this just from playing the beta? Not making accusations it just seems like a lot of assumptions before the game's full release

Got into DC Lego Supervillians a bit last night with my girlfriend it is a blast

@BrockSmith It is definitely my game of the year. The only games that really come close for me are RE Village and GOTG, and It Takes Two beats both of them by a pretty significant margin in my book

@kingbreww Virtually every indie game sale, games like dark souls, monster hunter world, and jedi fallen order are constantly on sale for under 15 dollars, injustice 2 is 4 dollars right now, borderlands 3 has been as low as 10 dollars. control for 12 dollars. I could go on for a while. I'm not sure what retailer you are using that offers better discounts than these but please let me know if you have one so I can seek them out

@kingbreww there are plenty of sales on the Playstation store that offer far better deals than what physical retailers offer

PS4 Pro here, I have used the mask several times with no issues yet. Loving the game so far! I wish the controls were a bit smoother but everything else is just delightful
