@SlipperyFish my initial post was about day one prices which is what the article was asking about. "How much would you pay?" And I stated I would never pay what they are currently asking for day one releases. Its not that hard to understand really is it?

@SlipperyFish well we must buddy because my experience with the psn store is a whole different one to you especially day one prices. If you are happy and it's a model that works for you then have at it but me personally I'll just continue as I do.

@DennisReynolds I find myself listening to what you say about games seeing as we seem to have similar tastes and seem to share similar views on most things..most things..so I'll look into it when I have spare time and it hits a silly sale price. The new space marine game is marching towards us at an alarming rate and I really want some of that first.

Never paid £70 for a game and I never will. You can always find the physical disc (download code in a box I know) for a lot cheaper or I'll wait on a sale and by that time it'll be the full version or it will be patched to high heaven..sucks to be the guys who bought digital only consoles.

@CrashBandicoat have you actually played it on the ps5? It actually plays really well and looks great. If a game looks this good after being bashed out in an afternoon then I'm all in for more "afternoon bashers." Sharp corner approaching buddy so hold on tight as I wouldn't want you to fall of the bandwagon...

@Malaise to put things into context here I don't care about the business side of things. What irks me about this is that a supposedly reputable online media outlet published an article that so far has no truth to it and its being picked up on and reported on by other reputable (yes pushSquare I usually find you guys reputable) media outlets without having any shred of proof. Its rumour mongering and something I thought was way below pushsquares standards..I may need to rethink this 🤔

@get2sammyb a misunderstanding? So when it transpires that none of this was true and it was all nonsense but IGN still published that article you'll just put it down to a misunderstanding?

@get2sammyb so what exactly do you or pushsquare expect to come out of this? If the allegations are true (not likely) are you going to denounce Sony etc as the conniving corporate monsters some would have you believe or will you call out IGN and it's cohorts for muddying the waters by reporting on rumors? Credibility is firmly on the line here.

@S1ayeR74 the game is superb and even though its not perfect its a massive success for the devs. There is so much negativity around Chinese devs and sections of the media demanding the boycotting of games such as this that its just becoming so boring,tiresome and downright embarrassing. I wonder how many of these so called "activists" still eat Chinese food?

@InsaneWade indeed it did. And then there was a free ps5 upgrade but not for those who received the game via ps+. Cue much crying and hands being thrown up in the air and screams from the braying crowds about boycotting Square for such shameful shenanigans forcing Sony or Square to issue said upgrade to everybody...and balance was restored until China started making really good games and single player ones too..

@get2sammyb IGN posted an article which was pretty bad and now IGN seem to be a credible source? As somebody else just stated you've gone from skeptical to it's believable. Why are game science lying about having problems about getting the game to run on xbox consoles? I can see them having issues with the S but maybe not the series X. It's very strange indeed.

@get2sammyb so exactly where do you stand on this? Do you think it's a load of tosh or do you think it's actually a possibility it's a console exclusive and game science are lying? I'd be interested to hear your personal opinion..

@RoomWithaMoose most of us do care but unfortunately when you do speak up and say its abhorrent there's usually somebody waiting to tell you to pack it in. If you say you don't care there's usually somebody waiting to tell you to pack it in..sometimes it's just not worth it.

I can't see this being true. Most company's would just straight out say if it was an exclusive or a timed exclusive. Seems to me that there are quite a few people who seem to have it in for game science and for whatever nefarious reason want the company to fail. Would xbox owners welcome a version of the game that's not up to scratch? There's more than enough people who already think the ps5 version is rubbish and riddled with performance issues (not even close to being true) and it's quite obvious they haven't played it in any capacity or are just jumping on the band wagon because "It's cool to hate." No doubt this won't be the last we hear of this rubbish.

Hell yes I'm still playing it. Performance issues are not issues for me at all. Earlier today I managed to access the secret dragon boss behind the waterfall in chapter 1 and I'm currently having a blast in chapter 2..what an awesome game.

@VeldinX there have been other articles in the past that relate to pc ports that pop up in red. Horizon zero dawn was one. Its not that important in all fairness I was just being pedantic.

@VeldinX usually it's red because it's to do with pc related articles..its how it's been in the past but hey I guess because it's GOW is just as good a reason as any.

Amazon isn't that bad. It has some brilliant documentarys and I loved the documentary about killing joke. I can't figure out why this is in the "red" section of pushsquare...isn't this reserved for all things pc?

I can't think of any company accused of these kind of shenanigans would ever hold their hands up and say "its all completely true. We are horrible!" Of course they will deny it.

I've enjoyed all 3 crisis games but I've hated every single multiplayer mode on them. Abysmal lag and just downright frustrating.edited as I forgot crisis warhead was my fave entry and was actually great online.

@NEStalgia I never said it would thwart sales I simply said most pc gamers would pirate it. I don't know one pc gamer that hasn't obtained a dodgy copy of a game. I myself always purchased from steam,GoG or cdkeys etc as the games I required were on my now defunct rig (R.I.P...we had some good times 😪) and please,please don't ever refer to me as Yves Guillemot ever again..no need for that 🤣

I really don't care. Most pc gamers will pirate it anyway. Why does everybody get upset about PlayStation games going to pc? We have pc games coming to ps5 and now it looks increasingly likely that Microsofts big name games are making the leap to sonys machine too..so what's all the fuss? Are we not in the better position?

I like baseball bats but I can't stand baseball. The other two titles are not for me so it's a poor month but I'm sure there's something there for others. I have plenty to be playing anyway.

If it went free to play then maybe it might stand a chance. They would have to monetize the old rusty sheriffs badge out of it but I hope it can be saved for the 3.5 people that are toughing it out.

God I want this but I have too much to finish first and with daylight hours quickly diminishing I have to get out to the golf course as much as possible. I loved the first game and I wish my ancient gaming rig was still working because I'd be playing it again to get me ready for the sequel. For the emperor..

I quite like France.. I just don't particularly like the people but I hope they sort everything out. I liked steelrising a lot but I didn't really like greedfall. In regards to Nacon I don't know too much about them really but I did purchase a replacement ps4 pad from them and it was superb.

I'm not too far into it but it's a solid 8/10 for me. It's got issues but nothing that's hindered game play for me. Loving it.

I'm interested to see what Sony bring to the table but I'm not interested in having a portable ps5. If I really wanted to play my ps5 games if I was away from home for more than a few days I'd just take the ps5 with me. The ps5 is for me when I'm home besides I'd find it hard to play a ps5 when I'm out at the golf course 🤣.

Awesome news. I welcome the open world formula but I understand that some people won't like it. I didn't think lies of p was too difficult once you learned that all the bosses telegraph their powerful one hit death moves quite generously and some of the weapon builds could be quite over powered but I loved it. Wukong has given me the urge to go back and replay my souls like games again because there is always new ways to play and things I never discovered. Still need to get the plat on "p."

What does this have to do with the ps5? Should this not be in pushsquares "red" pc section?

@IamJT next to gta online it's one of the more disgusting community's online..not everybody is (there are some sound people on there) but the majority are horrible little beasties..

You two are very literate and always put your views across exceptionally well but I think sometimes the context is lost because some people just don't understand.
