@LowDefAl OK that's a fair point..so why was it never a big issue when ps4 pro games didn't receive the same treatment? I know the ps5 Pro is sonys new shining star and rightly so because its very,very good but wasn't the ps4 pro seen in the same light? I just fail to see how this is that big an issue when it never was before.

And what about all those ps4 games that never got a ps4 pro patch or was pro enabled on day 1? I bet there was more than a few but pushsquare never reported on those? But then the ps4 pro didn't cost £700 did it so whilst so far every article about the ps5 Pro has been overwhelmingly positive are pushsquare about to start to slowly start becoming more negative in their reporting? Not every game needs to have a ps5 Pro enhancement as a day 1 requirement especially a lego game.

@LavenderShroud in this case because of the games being developed (doom,elder scrolls etc) its very relevant to us as PlayStation owners because those games are coming to us too at some point so again this is actually news that's relevant.

Looks interesting. Hopefully it won't be ruined by the cheaters that plagued the finals as I was really enjoying that game with my friends online until the auto aimers and wall glitches etc ruined the game.

I think he's right but it all depends on the game. Action games really don't need to be massive but rpgs benefit from being really big because that's what you want right? If the answer to that is no then why bother with rpgs etc. You know what you are getting and you know it's going to be a time sink.

I was going to purchase this until I discovered its a rpg that removes certain options and forces you to follow a story without being able to circumvent that particular scene.When games start to force things upon you that's when I decide I'm having nothing to do with them no matter how good the game is.

@Loamy agreed. The majority of the time people harp on about game breaking performance issues I often wonder if I'm playing the same game. I've never had issues with wukong and I honestly didn't find dragons dogma 2 that bad either. Lies of p and lords of the fallen both were well within what I'd personally class as acceptable but I guess it's just wrong to actually enjoy something and ignore the little niggles..

@x3King84 @Northern_munkey @Titntin just to update you guys. I spent a while last night tinkering with the hdr settings and it's definitely better with the black turned down to zero. I left the white alone but turned the brightness down a bit too. The colours no longer looked washed out and the blacks are black and not blown out. The jungle tracks look a hell of a lot better and there is a lot more detail. The game also plays really well with my steering wheel too. Thanks again for your help guys 👍

@doctommaso I know..its like going to visit a websites comments section knowing beforehand that it's going to be chock full of the whiners and then proceed to complain about them all...🤔

Hopefully this game looks even better on the pro. It looks awesome anyway and I was never bothered by the supposedly rubbish performance. Awesome game.

@x3King84 I don't think it's your tv..I've reinstalled it and looked at the hdr settings..turning the black all the way to zero and knocking the brightness down a couple of notches has improved things quite drastically..I left the white where it was..

@N0CYmr0k no I have a hisense. It's their own version of an oled TV. It's a damn good TV except with that one game 🤣

@LogicStrikesAgain the problem is that pushsquare like to publish a lot of articles that come across as very click baity especially when there is something that's causing gamers to take umbrage with something and they then really go to town. On this occasion they are focusing on the positives and are actually being really useful instead of trying to fan the flames so to speak..some people are not used to it.

@Titntin it has no issues with any other game and hdr10 content...maybe I'm not adjusting the settings properly..I'll reinstall it and have another crack at it when I have space on my ssd..

@SrpskaArtilerija it all depends on how you phrase your dislike. If your disappointment is articulated in a mature and constructive way then most people will listen to you but if you act like a whiney entitled illiterate brat then you only have yourself to blame if you do get banned or egged..

@Titntin everything looks washed out. If I turn hdr off it looks really nice and vibrant but as soon as its turned back on all the colour looks washed out again..

The only issue I have with motorfest is the horrible hdr..no matter what I try it looks washed out..not my TV settings as everything else is superb looking but this games hdr implementation is just 🤮

@Cerny you don't know his income is "fake" and from my perspective you are the one being the aggressor here. I think you need to take a step back and look at how your interaction went with him.

@IamJT I don't earn 10k a month (nowhere near) but I'm quite frugal with my cash. I could buy a ps5 Pro tomorrow if I wanted to but as I've stated earlier I would like my new steering wheel first but I'll have to wait until after Xmas for that. I'm happy with my base ps5 for now so the upgrade just isn't really necessary. That steering wheel though is quite hard to resist 🤣

@IamJT no you don't. Most people on this site that own a PlayStation or a PC accept they are a luxury item and are well aware that there are people that are financially worse off than they are. I've worked all my life as has my wife and we have scrimped and saved to have the nice things we didn't have when we were young. I'll never look down on people who work hard but still find it hard to make ends meet but I won't accept the lazy couch huggers that refuse to work and rely on the tax payers to supplement their life choices. You don't need to earn £700 a day to be able to afford a ps5 Pro...

@KoopaTheGamer it's a fair point you make but console gamers demands for better games and more essentially games that look every bit as good as their pc equivalents mean that new consoles are only going to get more expensive. Whilst I want a ps5 Pro (I do think it is worth the asking price) I need my new steering wheel first as that is much more important to me. My friend has bought a ps5 Pro along with gt7 and he's coming round to my house sometime this coming week to play it with my steering wheel setup so I'll be able to actually see the damn thing first hand.

@KoopaTheGamer overpriced? Good job you are not a PC gamer then and if you are then you are conveniently forgetting exactly how much each separate component is for you to build a rig that performs to the same standard as the ps5 Pro..

Such a shame..there are not enough superlatives to describe this man. Truly a huge loss.

Looks like a lot of fun. I loved the left 4 dead franchise and I still play back 4 blood every now and then so this ticks all the boxes for me.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I too didn't really notice much between my brothers ps4 pro and my vanilla ps4 other than his pro sounded like Donald Campbell starting up the bluebird in his living room...wow that was a loud console..
