@N1ghtW1ng I must admit that revisiting drive club again was a revelation as to how far ahead of the game it still is in terms of graphical fidelity and audio quality. The weather effects are superb and are better than the mighty GT7. Its obvious Sony cancelled drive club because its such a threat to the GT franchise.

@sanderson72 yes they are..I installed drive club the other week off the disc to see how it fared with my steering wheel..it was quite good fun.

@get2sammyb I echo your sentiments. I've been waiting for another test drive unlimited ever since I spent an eternity on the xbox 360 recreation of hawaii. It was so immersive and was just so damn good. Just driving around was so chill after a horrid days work. Really disappointed by this as I had high hopes. Is there any chance your reviews of racing games could include information as to how they play using a steering wheel set up? Even an entry level T150 would give a reasonable idea as most people who own a wheel probably have or will be upgrading their setup. This information would certainly help gamers like myself who only use a wheel as there's no going back.

@mazzel reporting on accurate figures and in general publishing the truthfully,boring stuff does not make for glamorous reading I'm afraid. It's far easier to report on the more salacious and shady aspects as that is what people are perceived as needing..you live in China as stated so you are in more of a position than any of us to tell it how it is but that won't matter..you'll still be wrong.

@DennisReynolds @Nepp67 I agree with both of you on this..I'll never pay extra to play early (it's not that important in the grand scheme of things) and the day one fixes,updates etc whilst annoying are one of those things the modern gamer just has to accept and learn to live with..

@NEStalgia insomniacs GOT was a superb game and was a western game. Of course most of the sales will be from China seeing as it's a very famous Chinese story. Hopefully western devs will take notice and be able to tap into what makes the game so good and replicate it into their own games. I agree mostly with what you've said but I'm being optimistic that we will see more top quality single player driven games like this in the future.

Awesome game and it's up there with elden ring,lies of p and lords of the fallen in my opinion. I'll definitely be getting the expansion and hopefully we will see more action games from game science in the future.

Great review and I think I'll be purchasing this one as soon as I'm finished with black myth. Love the warhammer 40k universe and I loved the first game. I really enjoyed the diabloesque martyr on the ps4 which prompted me to shell out for the ps5 upgrade and the only time I ever felt robbed from a dev as it was just a lazy,lazy upgrade..I may revisit it to see if they ever bothered to sort it out.

It is still one of my favourite ps5 games..looks brilliant and the audio was brilliant. Yeah it was a bit full of the merlin trials and the field note collections were a bit tedious but it was my chill out game. Nothing too taxing and was a very nice after work distraction. Roll on the 2nd game and let's hope certain aspects of today's society manage to keep their hatred under control this time round.

@MikeOrator phantom lord,metal militia, the four horsemen,ride the lightning and call of kutulu are the songs mustaine co-wrote with metallica.

@MikeOrator I agree..I think he wrote maybe 2 (that I remember without looking) and those were the four horsemen and call of khutulu. I could be mistaken and maybe there was a 3rd but I'm not sure.

@MikeOrator heretic..I had the displeasure of meeting mustaine in HMV during the rust in peace tour and whilst the rest of the band were great guys and signed my album he was a massive d*** head.

This looks amazing. If this is as much fun as it looks then I'll be a day one customer.

@kailun quite clearly you are missing the point..its not about brand loyalty to be perfectly honest but more about the muck raking and quite frankly disturbing amount of faith being put into rumours started by IGN and being reported upon by another reputable video game news site without having any shred of evidence whatsoever..its not what I expect from journalists that pride themselves on putting out useful information (something pushsquare usually do and do it very well) but on this occasion they are lowering their standards to wallow in the depths being plumbed by IGN and other undesirables...I'm very disappointed with pushsquare at the moment and i'm equally disappointed with people who think this is Sony fanboys having a strop over exclusivity deals. It's more than that.

@tomassi when the stones lost Brian Jones their music was nowhere near as innovative..same when Metallica lost the late great cliff Burton.

Sony should really get zipper back onto socom or a ps5 version of M.A.G.

@Fartingale the beatles are one of those bands that I've grown to appreciate more as I have grown older. As I learned to play bass guitar over the past 35 years or so it makes you appreciate how songs are structured and how they have to work. The beatles were so far ahead of their time and their music still sounds as fresh today as when I first heard them as a child. If you are not a musician then trying to explain the nuances of a song like Eleanor rigby will in all likelihood be lost on most people but those who play any instrument to a high level will know and understand what I'm blathering on about.

Now hang on everybody let's put things in perspective..for a start apple records founded by the beatles was a car wreck from start to finish. It was incredibly,badly managed and just leaked money left right and centre. It almost ruined the beatles financially. So comparing gearbox to the beatles in this context is spot on but if he's trying to convince anybody that gearbox's output is anywhere near as prolific as the beatles then he's of his meds..its a bit like when oasis claimed they were more famous than the beatles..not even in the same universe.

@riceNpea 100% agree with you. Some of your detractors in the comments section also make valid points but nowhere near as eloquently. Wish I could give more likes but you'll just have to take the one.

@Titntin I'm on the middle tier and I think it's pretty good value for me personally. Not every month is great granted but I always find that most titles appeal to me and if I added up how much those games would actually cost me to purchase even taking into account sale prices it would still cost me more than the subs price. Once again you make a sensible,valid point.

@WizzNL psn plus only came into being towards the end of the ps3's life time. Psn was free for the majority of the ps3 era and if I remember correctly psn+ (the paid sub model) was only around for maybe 2 years before the ps4 launched. I think I got a few months free as an introduction but I never continued with it. Online play on the ps3 was incredibly unreliable at times as it was pretty much peer to peer connectivity and required a rock solid host to run half decently.

"it is unabashedly a video game." I'm glad that's cleared up..I wasn't sure at first but now I'm 100% sure.

I'd be happy if they brought starcraft to the ps5.

It was boring. Nothing really made it stand out from the crowd. I was hoping it would be good but it was just so mediocre. Such a shame as it showed potential but just didn't deliver.

Most of us on here haven't given much creedence to such rubbish because that's exactly what it is..utter rubbish just as are the rest of these rumours. Also there are no console fanboy wars being raged in the comments section here..at the moment.

Consoles will never die out. They may well evolve into something more than just consoles but they will never truly die out. If and when this happens there will be no more pushsquare etc so people better hope it never happens.

I'm playing the controversial ps5 exclusive wukong..you know the one with all the game breaking performance issues and I'm loving it and it could well be the best game I've played so far this year. I also went to the golf course for the afternoon because the weather was good..have a good one folks 👍

@Titntin I respect your opinion as always. I'm not a fan of digital only as it limits my choice but that dosnt mean I think it's wrong. If you can find a way to get cheaper deals then great but for me I like my physical and I'll buy digital if the price is good enough or if there is no other option such as wukong which I thought £55 was acceptable.

@HonestHick alls good. The way this has been reported on and glorified by certain outlets has really hacked me off. If it wasn't for the guys I chat with and have a bit of banter with and chat with via the ps5 I'd have written this site off a couple of years ago but people such as yourself,kidfunkadelic,titnitin etc keep it worth coming back to...sure as hell ain't the mods.

I myself don't put much stock into the supposed "experts" at DF..I'd rather be happy with my games and let my eyes do the work rather than have people tell me exactly why the game I'm playing is being impacted on at a microscopic level blah,blah oh ***** I fell asleep again...

@DrVenture69 clutter is the reason bloodborne is a 30fps game? It can't even hold a stable 30fps for most of its screen time. Without the "clutter" as you phrase it bloodborne would have no atmosphere and no visual identity. The games aesthetic would be completely soulless (pun intended.) The reason bloodborne runs so awful is that the hardware running it is just not capable and its also down to poor optimisation on fromsofts part. Get rid of that chromatic abhoration and fix the frame pacing and it would be playable as is..

@HonestHick reading through your last comment again and I can see what you are saying but to end a well reasoned comment out with "Thoughts? Other than Sony is a but shady hahaha" just undermined everything you said. I thought you were better than that to end on a rather sad comment and for you that was quite a sad dig. Come on do better.
