Always been interested in Trine Games. Might give this a try down the line.
I like these Mini Reviews, I am curious if Goodbye Volcano High gets a review since it came out today. Have been interested in that game since it's in the same vein as Life is Strange.
EA could buy them some more time for DreadWolf if they decided to do a Dragon Age Collection. It would help build up hype for Dragon Age 4 and get BioWare some goodwill going into this game after how bad Anthem was and how decent Andromeda was.
I mean if you wait till Black Friday this game will probably be $20-$25 which will be nice. Typical Ubisoft, wait for a month and the game is half off lol.
I am interested in this game but not nothing anything about the fate series(one anime series I've always wanted to get into but there's a lot too it) is kind of making me have a wait and see approach.
Going to be tough to pick between this and Eternights since they come out a week apart. Sept. 21st vs Sept. 29th.
I'm hoping at TGS Koei Tecmo finally shows us some brand new Dynasty Warriors or more importantly Samurai Warriors info.
Kind of with the new character wasn't another support character, seeing as the last one was a support character lol.
I do agree with everyone though that this game needs more content. Them cutting the single player content and just doing it in chunks is a huge mistake.
I get that people are tired of the COD games but Makarov is one of the best villian's COD has so I am excited to play MW3. Just curios how they handle his story, and obviously No Russian.
This show is getting some good reviews out their and the fact that it's 10 episodes and their only 30mins makes it way easier to watch. Sweet Tooth being cool also is good, hopefully he gets the flames somehow in Season 2 if it does well enough to warrant one.
I mean the DLC would be great if they actually added stages with the characters, as in the Treasure Log levels. Just adding characters to play with in the Treasure Log after you've beaten it doesn't really make you want to play the game again just for that.
Hopefully they add some stuff with the new characters after all these years, since a new game is years away.
I am excited to see what changes they make to the series going forward. I do hope they make some changes to the franchise/career mode, and hopefully add a women's version so you can manage a women's team.
All of the games looked good except for the live service games(not including Marathon and Destiny).
Revenant Hill looks like it's going to be fun, Sword of the Sea looks like it's going to be an enjoyable time. Plucky Squire looks amazing, and Neva looks like it will be great. Phantom Blade looks awesome but who knows when that comes out, Cat Quest games are always good, and Granblue looks great but needs a exact date lol. MGS, Alan Wake, Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6 and Assassin's Creed all look great(especially FF16 and SF6).
I get that the main issue everyone is having is that their weren't really any Playstation Studios First Party games but I think we just need to wait till later in the year to see if they have another even specifically for that.
I'd rather Sony show Last of Us Factions, Ghost 2, Sony Santa Montica's new games, Bluepoint's next game and also Sony Bend's next game when they actually have something to show. Not just a trailer or concept art like we got yesterday for the Live service games.
So just be patient and relax. Which I know most people will keep complaining until they actually see something besides Spider-Man 2 lol.
Every game in this showcase actually looked pretty good, the indie's look interested and I don't usually play a lot of indies.
The third party games all looked good. Phantom Blade 0 was a shock in a good way but that isn't coming this year.
It was a really good show for me especially with the Spider Man 2 gameplay and MGS 3. Sword in the Sea and Neva looked amazing too.
I get people will be mad that we didn't see First Party games besides Haven and Firewalk(besides Spider-Man and Hell Divers(which isn't a first party but is being published by Sony)), but give the Live Service games a chance until you actually see gameplay. I feel like everyone is overreacting lol.
Also Granblue Fantasy release time window finally lol.
I do hope that if they announce a Astrobot 2 that it will also be playable on the PS5. I really want to play a full length Astro game(besides Playroom) but don't want to shell out for a VR2 headset(even though I am interested in it).
Oh I am very excited to see what they show next week, I know Sony will knock it out the park.
I do hope that EA will announce a Dragon Age Remastered Collection(Origins-Inquisition) to come out this year. I feel like it would sell pretty well and it makes total sense for them to release that with Dragon Age 4 a year/year and a half away.
It can be announced at some other point this summer but to see it here would be cool.
I mean if this is true it seems like their doing this to quickly follow up on the ending/ending credits to MW2(No Russian) with Makarov so the story hopefully will be better. The original MW3 with him was ridiculous so hopefully this follows suit.
I'll play it(rent it), but am not excited for it since these games seem to literally be the same thing year after year.
Sony just needs to tie the knot with Square Enix at this point. It just seems to perfect.
Just imagine if during the supposed Playstation Showcase in June if they announce "We welcome Square Enix to the Playstation Family", everyone would lose their mind and at the same time say "yeah it makes sense".
I mean give me a game when I can play as Atreus, Angrboda and Thrud(Angrboda and Thrud had some awesome looking moves) with Tyr maybe being a mentor or something and that will be awesome.
Also a game with those three would be great in general. Playing through Ragnarok I wanted to play as Angrboda and Thrud at least once because of how awesome their attacks looked.
I won't ever play this game(unless it's on Extra maybe) but I am here to watch Rob Pearson of Playstation Access play it. I feel like that's the only reason this game exist to be honest lol.
The Smeagol impression for a whole stream will be hilarious.
I loved this episode. The interactions between Riley and Ellie were funny and adorable.
I am concerned that they will speed through the David stuff. I feel like David deserves two episodes because David vs Ellie is a huge moment in the first game. Doing all that in 50 or so mins isn't enough justice. Hopefully it's well done. Also seeing Troy Baker in it should be fun.
I mean Cammy looked amazing. I mean her new look makes her actually hotter if that was possible. They had the one part during the combat basically when she showed of her physique. Capcom knows what their doing lol. Her moveset looks awesome.
Lily looked like a fun new character. Zangief is his usual self, tough, a stubborn moveset to fight against but also a cool character as usual.
@get2sammyb True, plus with the great storytelling that comes with Yakuza games you know that people will be drawn into that. The story piques your interest and then you want to know more about the two main protagonist real life counterparts.
I think it's actually cool that Kazuma is Ryoma Sakamoto who is considered a hero in Japan. Whatever take they have on his story should be enjoyable and hopefully get people in the US(and other countries) to learn about his story. Great person to be a main character in a video game.
The best part about this game is going to be watching Rob from Playstation Access play it and do his Gollum impression the entire stream. Besides that, this game doesn't look good at all lol.
Their are some good reviews out their and some bad reviews. It all depends on who you follow and trust when it comes to gaming reviews. I can recommend the Easy Allies Review and the Gameinformer, Playstation Lifestyle and Destructoid reviews as well as they did a good job really describing and detailing the game(Also the future Pushsquare one).
This game being a 6-7 is not surprising at all. If it does even a little bit well and it gets a sequel I believe that Square would actually give Luminous or whoever they let make the sequel more time and money to do it. Most reviews kind of say that if given more time this game could have been better. A sequel could help if it actually happens.
The fact that the Dialogue and story/script are so bad isn't surprising but it sucks for Elle Balinska. I like her as a actress, and even some people that have covered the game said they like her but if your given a bad script/bad story theirs not much you can do as a actor/actress.
I've been thinking for a while that it would make a ton of sense for Sony to buy Square Enix. They partner together on almost every Final Fantasy(Promotion wise, and recently exclusivity wise) and I'm sure Forspoken won't be the only console exclusive game that Square has in store for Sony.
I actually would like to see this happen for both parties involved. It just makes sense. Also Sony could maybe help them with their AA titles like Diofield and Valkyrie Elysium or others of that same ilk. Games that could make a good series but just need a bit more polish and probably budget.
Probably one of the best parts of the game, hands down.
I hope we get to play as Thrud and Angrboda in the next game(along with Atreus lol). Watching Thrud fight side by side with you with her cool moves always made me think "It would be cool to play as her", same with Angrboda.
Hopefully Sony Santa Montica gives us the chance to play as those two amazing characters.
Christopher Judge's speech wasn't that bad. He didn't win the award 4 years ago and with some of the stuff he probably went through during the development and just everyone with Covid in general, it was well deserved and funny at points.
One of the games I'm most excited for. I've been waiting since I beat Inquisition years and years ago. Loved Inquisition. Solas was actually a good character and the ending you get during the Trespasser DLC if your good friends with him is awesome. Him wanting to save the Elves makes total sense if you've played the games and know the lore, he's just doing it in a way too drastic way.
I do hope we see something at The Game Awards but please don't have Varric as a team member again. He shouldn't have been in Inquisition as a member. He's fine as a mouthpiece/storyteller.
I also hope Leliana comes back as a playable character.
I was hoping to downgrade to Extra from Premium since my Membership doesn't end until Dec.26th.
Also the easiest way to fix this is to just cancel your current membership and downgrade but I understand if you have months and months left you probably don't want to do that.
I might just cancel mine to downgrade since I'm not really into streaming old games and the classics.
Every month people keep thinking that Sony is going to add PS1/PS2 games and I feel like we all knew that they were only going to add them sparingly because I feel like they could care less about those games and are more so focused on PS4/PS5 and even PS3 since that's what people mainly want.
I could see them adding certain classics if they were getting remakes in the near future though but for some of these classic games/series that's a longshot.
I have the highest tier just to see how the streaming is(It's not that good lol) and I have never once thought about playing the classics except Rogue Galaxy(Already owned it). Might just be me but people might need to realize that the classics are going to pop up every once in a while for the people that want to play really really old games on current gen. It's not a major priority for Sony to focus on those games.
This is a great addition, I also hope they add a women's career mode/franchise mode if possible. NBA 2K too a while to do it and they improved it this year so here's hoping EA can do it for FIFA.
So another take on the Blair Witch Project? I'm kind of excited but people have struggled to match the original movie's feel. Bloober Team struggled a bit from what I saw so I hope they can do a better job.
People do realize that this remake/remaster is for people that haven't played the game yet, similar to how The Last of Us Part 1 is for newcomers and to coincide with the TV show. I'm excited to see how it turns out and for people to try Horizon out.
I'll even try it out if Sony doesn't make it $70, it should be $30-$40 tops. I can understand people's frustrations but this is for newcomers and for the Netflix show.
Firesprite is actually one of Sony's bigger studio's with over 250 employees, so them having multiple games in the oven isn't very surprising.
People just need to relax and wait and see what Sony has instore for us. Some of these games actually appeal to me that are supposedly in this document so I'm not worried about the future of the PS5. Just be patient.
I don't get why people are that surprised or are complaining about this. Depending on the price of this I'd be interested(I wouldn't buy it asap since I beat the game this year) but if they add new features, update the graphics, and add the accessibility options its worth $30-$40. Now if Sony makes it $70 that's a big no.
I'm not that surprised, don't be surprised to see The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima probably and maybe some surprise game to get remake/remaster. Their is a market for these things, just not at $70. Hopefully Sony realized the backlash they received for The Last of Us Part 1's $70 price tag and make the games $30-$40.
Ryoma Sakamoto is a great person to focus a game on. The man is considered a hero in Japan and the time period the game is focused on doesn't get a lot of hype/games so this should be fun.
I mean they said it would be focused on Japanese Developers and TGS, also look at the Nintendo Direct this morning, it was the same thing. I'm expecting Diofield and Valkyrie Elysium and some Japanese releases.
@Would_you_kindly oh I think Extra is perfect. I got Premium hoping that the streaming would be worth it but my Internet or just the streaming in general(My Area or whatever else) is awful lol.
The trial's are worth it if you get access to them. I mean Rollerdrome next week is going to be great to try out.
I would like some classic PS2 games(Battlefront 2, Sly, etc) but that might take ages. If they would just let you download the classics and stream games to play as long as you have your premium subscription that would be perfect. I know that's what everybody wants.
@RudeAnimat0r that's what I mean when it comes to Classics. I feel like Sony just tacked them into the new PS Plus because people kept complaining about not being able to play their old games on their newer systems(or because they don't have the old systems). So when they complain about them not updating the list frequently Sony is probably like " I mean your getting them as they come, not a big priority to us".
Also I mentioned last gen(PS4, even throw in PS3) and new games as stuff people mainly play now. I mean I might play the few PS2 games I own a few times a year and I have them on my PS3 or PS4/PS5(Rogue Galaxy). I never sit down on my PS5/PS4 and say "Oh I'd love to play a PS1 game". But to each their own.
@RudeAnimat0r I was mainly referring to not seeing the point in playing those old games nowadays when you have last gen and new gen games coming out constantly.
I do realize it's for Nostalgia's sake but I feel like Sony is like "Yeah their old games so we'll release a couple every few months".
Now if the streaming was actually consistent that would be perfect but it's terrible, depending on when and if your internet is good enough.
Those are some good games for PS Extra. I get that people want to play PS1,PS2 games but I don't see the point of playing those games(unless their updated) on a PS4/PS5. Playing dated games just doesn't seem fun to me.
I do love that Rogue Galaxy is part of this though, even though I bought that game years and years ago.
I kind of was hoping they would let you do a career mode with the women's leagues just like how 2K does it, but at least their adding more content for the women's game. I'll get this game this year(as usual) but during the Black Friday sale when it's always half off.
I might finally finish playing this game, I fell off years ago but I do remember that playing as Evie was the best part of the game and should be fun again.
I think she still is one of the most underrated protagonists in AC History. Nobody ever talks about Syndicate in general.
I don't get why people can't just be patient and wait for them to reveal this game. Cory Barlog isn't even the Director of the game and he has to come out and tell people to chill out.
Just let Eric Williams and his team take their time and make the game as perfect as we all hope it should be. Also let Cory relax and work on whatever he's working on.

Re: Persona-Inspired Eternights Launches a Little Earlier Than Planned on PS5, PS4
This game looks cool but could definitely use a Overview Trailer to show like the day to day and how the bonds/relationships work.
I am interested in getting it, but wouldn't be surprised if it's half off by Black Friday.
Re: BioWare Cuts Roughly 50 Jobs, But Still Confident Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Will Reach 'Full Potential'
EA could buy them some more time for DreadWolf if they decided to do a Dragon Age Collection. It would help build up hype for Dragon Age 4 and get BioWare some goodwill going into this game after how bad Anthem was and how decent Andromeda was.
Re: Poll: What PS5 Game Do You Most Want to See at Gamescom Opening Night Live?

Re: Fate/Samurai Remnant's Anime Opening Hypes What Could Be a Surprise PS5, PS4 Hit
@jorel262 True, every time I look at Fate I think it looks cool.
Also Eternights needs a lengthy trailer to show the combat/game mechanics because I'm still a bit curious about it.
Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage Returns to Series Roots, But Won't Ditch Cosmetic Microtransactions

Re: Talking Point: We Need to Discuss This Horizon Zero Dawn PS5 Remaster
Re: Extended Like a Dragon: Ishin! Trailer Is Maximum Hype, Confirms It's a Whole New Remake
Ryoma Sakamoto is a great person to focus a game on. The man is considered a hero in Japan and the time period the game is focused on doesn't get a lot of hype/games so this should be fun.
Re: Rumour: Lower Your Expectations for Tonight's State of Play
@anoyonmus Square has like a thousand games in the works it seems lol. Or Sony announces they've finally bought Square Enix.
Re: Rumour: Lower Your Expectations for Tonight's State of Play
I mean they said it would be focused on Japanese Developers and TGS, also look at the Nintendo Direct this morning, it was the same thing. I'm expecting Diofield and Valkyrie Elysium and some Japanese releases.
People shouldn't be surprised at all.
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for August 2022 Announced
@Would_you_kindly oh I think Extra is perfect. I got Premium hoping that the streaming would be worth it but my Internet or just the streaming in general(My Area or whatever else) is awful lol.
The trial's are worth it if you get access to them. I mean Rollerdrome next week is going to be great to try out.
I would like some classic PS2 games(Battlefront 2, Sly, etc) but that might take ages. If they would just let you download the classics and stream games to play as long as you have your premium subscription that would be perfect. I know that's what everybody wants.
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for August 2022 Announced
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for August 2022 Announced
@RudeAnimat0r I was mainly referring to not seeing the point in playing those old games nowadays when you have last gen and new gen games coming out constantly.
I do realize it's for Nostalgia's sake but I feel like Sony is like "Yeah their old games so we'll release a couple every few months".
Now if the streaming was actually consistent that would be perfect but it's terrible, depending on when and if your internet is good enough.
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for August 2022 Announced
Those are some good games for PS Extra. I get that people want to play PS1,PS2 games but I don't see the point of playing those games(unless their updated) on a PS4/PS5. Playing dated games just doesn't seem fun to me.
I do love that Rogue Galaxy is part of this though, even though I bought that game years and years ago.
Re: EA Sports Says Two World Cups, Crossplay Will Make FIFA 23 the Best Ever
I kind of was hoping they would let you do a career mode with the women's leagues just like how 2K does it, but at least their adding more content for the women's game. I'll get this game this year(as usual) but during the Black Friday sale when it's always half off.
Re: Ubisoft Working on Fix for Assassin's Creed Syndicate Bugs on PS5
I might finally finish playing this game, I fell off years ago but I do remember that playing as Evie was the best part of the game and should be fun again.
I think she still is one of the most underrated protagonists in AC History. Nobody ever talks about Syndicate in general.
Re: God of War Ragnarok's PS5, PS4 Release Date Reveal Was Delayed from Today
I don't get why people can't just be patient and wait for them to reveal this game. Cory Barlog isn't even the Director of the game and he has to come out and tell people to chill out.
Just let Eric Williams and his team take their time and make the game as perfect as we all hope it should be. Also let Cory relax and work on whatever he's working on.
It will be worth the wait.
