@Neither_scene That's a fair assesment. It was a an Xbox timed exclusive for a year or so before hitting PC, Switch, Tesla (🤣🤣🤣), then finally PS. Only difference is that this is a developer just outright giving something away to a platform base versus a particular platform paying for exclusive content. That's still f'ed up from Sony. Nothing like all platforms getting a game on the same day just to have content missing due to some exclusivity agreement on a specific platform.

Wow I thought this was a full on exclusive to Xbox. So this game, like High On Life and others, is coming out of nowhere. Like I said before, at the very least PS is transparent about their timed exclusives.

Anyway, this does give off an "Aliens" vibe to it.

@NotSoCryptic How is it Xbox's fault that Playstation didn't do the BC program as great as them? If anything, the blame is on Rockstar for this crap, and PS for not doing a proper smart delivery program that could remedy this disaster.

@Deshalu I didn't miss the point. You left out some things and I wanted to ensure you told the whole story on it. Btw, how do you know that Acti went to Xbox? Maybe Xbox offered to buy them out after hearing all of the negative things surrounding them. Offering to change their working climate. Bethesda also did not go to Xbox. Xbox approached them to stop Sony from doing these deals. Remember Starfield was "supposedly" going to be a PS exclusive.

I told you I don't care about any of the deals as it doesn't affect me. I have all platforms. I miss nothing. However, I can understand why fans on both sides would be disgruntled with timed deals and buyouts that doesn't benefit their console of choice.

@Deshalu I have all 3 major consoles as well. I have no dog in the ever-going console war. However, there were some things you're convenietly leaving out. Xbox doesn't have CoD yet so they didn't let Sony have anything from that. As far as ESO, and Fallout76, that was already on PS before Xbox bought them. Minecraft too. However the newer editions and such for Minecraft was certainly Xbox doing for keeping it on other consoles.

Now as far as Spiderman is concerned, there is no debate to be had. Marvel themselves went to Sony to create an IP from on of their many beloved characters. Sony chose Spiderman and chose Insomniac to develop it. Why would they release that on any other platform?! Everything you said about the Bungie deal and The Show was correct. Sony didn't really have a choice but to make it multiplatform. You were incorrect about why Sony bought Bungie. They want Bungie to assist in making these live service games and with some other games as well. It wasn't solely to take it away from Xbox. Although I would surmise that if PS had their way, it would only be exclusive to the PS ecosystem.

@Toot1st Yes they are. Do you read the comments or just skim through them? I said Sony are more transparent on timed deals than Xbox. That's not debatable. I can list a whole slew of games from Xbox that came over to PlayStation without no one ever knowing they were timed in the first place. Sifu was certainly known as a timed exclusive. What are you talking about?! Also read my comment about FF7R. Not on Sony to tell Xbox fans when that game is coming to their console. That's on Square. Sony did their part by telling folks it was only for a year. Go to Square and ask them why it's not on Xbox. Don't know what's so hard to understand about that.

@BeerIsAwesome They also tell when a game's exclusivity ends as well. We didn't even know games like this or High On Life was coming.

@K1LLEGAL You're missing what I'm saying. Sony is very transparent about the timed deals. They even give a date to when the deal ends. Where do Xbox do that at?! If the title of a game doesn't go elsewhere AFTER the deal is done, why should Sony have to answer for that?! At that point it's on the developer/publisher. You get it now? Almost every timed deals I've seen recently had a date to which it was done. Xbox or Nintendo don't really do that. You'll get the game whenever the deal is finished.... whenever that is. No date or timeframe.

@naruball I can see her saying that. I've always thought she was a class act that could do anything. I forgot she can sing as well. I always thought her acting was better than Kevin Sorbo's.

@K1LLEGAL How do you know there are extensions to deals? If you're referring to deals like FF7R, then folks should go to Square. Sony is actually the most transparent when it comes to these deals versus Nintendo and Xbox.

@AverageGamer Yup. That was timed for a long while before coming to PS. Cuphead was a 3 year timed exclusive. Nothing wrong with these timed deals, in my opinion, but at least say it's timed.

A Bleach fighter made by CyberConnect2 would be stellar. I'd take another Pirate Warriors style for Bleach at this point. However, I'm stoked for a Jujutsu Kaisen game. Big fan.

@__jamiie I can't defend or condemn the notion as I have absolutely no clue as to how game programming works. I just went by the lack of ports from PS3 to current gen. If they weren't being remastered, I haven't seen a proper port really. Unless they used the 360 version (which was the best version in most games that wasn't 1st party).

@Casco Xbox does 3rd party deals too. People just gloss over it because PS does it a lot these days. Nintendo also does these deals, just not as often as the other two.

@__jamiie I mean there have been a SLEW of developers that have corroborated claims of how difficult it was to program on the PS3. I think we should take their word for it as they're the real professionals.

@Sifi Timed deals is something they both do. A small difference though is that Sony is transparent on how long the deals are. It's up to the developer/publisher to announce where the game is going AFTER the timed dealmis done. Xbox doesn't say when their deals are up. Just like Cuphead, Warhammer, etc. Same with Nintendo. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@tallythwack No leave those studios where they are. Untouched! Sony should just let Xbox have their dig at them and respond with exclusives that will drop soon. We all know most of the games from 3rd parties shown at the Xbox showcase were will be on PS. No need to state the obvious.

@Deemo37 I believe some of you who think like you do are the reasons narratives like, "Sony does it all the time so why is it a problem when Xbox does it" stay prevalent. The problem isn't that Xbox snagged the game. It's whether or not it's coming to other platforms is the question. Say what you want about Sony and their timed deals, but at least they're transparent about how long the deals are. Xbox isn't. Can't use FF7R as an example because Sony was clear about how long the deal was. Also the Persona series didn't have a deal in place before it went multiplat. That was clear by Atlus themselves.

If this game is exclusive, then so be it. It's business and no one knew this game was coming anyway. Let Xbox have it. Like you've alluded, Sony does the same except not say how long a game is exclusive for.

@Arcanist I still think that particular series will sell better on Playstation as it's roots are with Playstation. You do have a point with how Japan seems to favor Nintendo over Sony these days though.

@xDD90x I'm not mistaken on how I got the Collection sir. Just as I described to you in my post is how I got the collection. Now I'm not sure if Sony shut down that process through the PC, but you were able to get the Collection through the PC at one point. Trust me I when I tell you I got through the PC. I know very well the differences. Been with Plus since it's inception.

@xDD90x I claimed mines on a PC 2 years back before I even had a PS5 with my PSN account.
