I really would LOVE to play the game as I am HUGE HP fan ... BUT I promised to myself that if the game does NOT have a proper physical release, I will not touch it
I am once again thrown in the Souls pit. I started Dark Souls 1 again and I just beat Ornstein and Smough. Why are these games so damn good?!
The games I decided to play if master Miyazaki lets me are: Pokemon HeartGold (Totodile is chosen and ready to destroy some gyms!), Project Warlock AND after MANY delays the Claire A/Leon B run in Resident Evil 2 (N64)!
Yesterday I finally got Blasphemous 2 for the PS5. I already finished it on the Switch, but it is so good that I will 100% it on PS5 as well. The sculpture I made of the Penitent One completes my Collector's Edition
And on the side, I will play Kingdoms of Amalur, and I will start as a mage.
If there is time AND mood, I will continue my playthrough of Singularity which is a TRUE hidden gem! I highly recommend it!
Another week consumed by Elden Ring Finally started Shadow of the Erdtree and it is fantastic! The DLC alone is better than many Fully-fledged games out there
If my time permits (which is doubt) I will play some Nightmare Reaper and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
And for side activities, if the Elden Ring releases me from its grip for a second, are DooM Eternal on the Switch and Castlevania Order of Ecclesia! (DAMN I want a Castlevania DS Collection for modern consoles!!!)
I was really into the atmosphere of the games, but they were too damn hard! And I've put in hold Dark Souls Remastered on the bench for years!
However, one day I said to myself that I had to learn the mechanics and just pull through. And just like that, on the Nintendo Switch of all platforms everything clicked after I defeated Ornstein & Smough.
From that moment everything made sense
After DS1 I beat, in that order, DS2, DS3, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Demon's Souls(remake) and Lies of P.
And I 100% understand people who do not want to invest time to beat the games. It is not for everyone
So, those extremely hard and sometimes unfair experiences are one of my best
After the challenging Hollow Knight, I will relax with some mayhem in GTA V.
And on the side, I will start a second playthrough of Link's Awakening Remake and I will make some progress in Link Between Worlds!
My copy of Shadow of the Erdtree will come next week and I will start a fresh NEW journey in Elden Ring on PS5, so small game sessions with the games above will give me some good vibes before the carnage
I am really into Hollow Knight. It will be my main focus! Currently I am exploring the Royal Waterways (beat the Dung Defender) after being in the Crystal Peak. I also have the Tram ticket from Deepnest. Really awesome game!
In the meantime, I will play some Castlevania III Dracula's Curse, damn it is a hard game! And maybe I will wander around aimlessly in Morrowind and Johto (Pokemon Heartgold).
@ShogunRok I do not know if it is just me but are they using the graphical style of Mirage? The movement, camera and the graphics look almost identical to Mirage.
This weekend I will finally try out Baldur's Gate 3. I think I will start with a dwarf
On the side I am trying to finish The Outer Worlds on the Switch JUST from the cartridge to be 100% sure that the game is playable from start to finish without any updates (even if there is "internet required" on the front of the box!). Currenly somewhere in the middle of the game (I have to find some chemicals for Phineas)
I will start my Claire A - Leon B run of Resident Evil 2
And If I find some time I will chip away some chapters in Half-Life 2.
I finished the main story in Skyrim and now I am starting Dawnguard. I have played it before but only once and now I have craving for beating Bethesda games!
I will also start Oblivion. I have never played more than an hour of the game so it will be exciting!
And for chilling I will play Symphony of the Night and Link Between Worlds
@Deljo I play games in bits. But there are times where I stick to a game until it is done. That happened with the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring, Lies of P, Bloodborne, Spider-Man 1 and 2, Blasphemous 2.
This weekend will be awesome! I have advanced a little in Fallout New Vegas and I've started doing quests for Mr. House. I have craving for some Assassin's Creed Odyssey. This will be my second run And finally I got my Castlevania Advance Collection for the Switch ... it is awesome! Even for a 100th time it never get's old! Castlevania is THE BEST thing to happen in the gaming world!
@MrBook The whole "I just want to experience the game!" is so fake nowadays.
Once Ubi sees that they could feed one turd to its "fanbase" then they will produce nothing but turds because they know that the "hardcore gamers" will be eating it and say "That was delicious, can we get more!?!". That is where the mini battle pass and season pass come into play
@nomither6 It seems that way with AAA releases. The future is grim for physical collection gamers but still there are so many games with good physical releases that could give you playtime of couple of lifetimes
I can't get over the fact that the disc will require you to connect to Ubi server in order to install it. And all of that just to sell their play 3 day early pass. Pure greed. This is also the first AC game to do that
Can't wait for Assassin's Creed India where the main protagonist is Mahatma Gandhi (a pacifist) turned into assassin because there is no fun otherwise Also he should eat lots of beef
Wasn't Yasuke just a sword bearer and not a real samurai? I read that he was like a pet or a jester to the daimyo Oda Nobunaga, you know for fun because he is exotic looking for the Japanese people in that era.
Either way the game could be fun. For now, I am not that hyped.
1. With the PS5 update I have started a new Fallout 4 run (AGAIN!) and I just saved Nick Valentine. 2. I am continuing to advance in Serious Sam The Second Encounter. 3. Some casual play in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin 4. And a little Link to the Past

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 540
This weekend I will relax with some Heroes of Might and Magic V on the Steam Deck. I love all HoMM games, so it is a hard choice to pick just one
I will beat couple of bosses in one of my saves in Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow for the 1000th time It is Castlevania after all!
And finally, I will continue my playthrough in Blasphemous 2 on the PS5
Happy gaming everyone!!!

The first one, however, is my absolute favorite!

Absolutely NOT! Those are one of the best experiences I had in gaming!!!
Re: Heinous Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Statue a Guaranteed Conversation Starter
That is awesome indeed. I have never played any Warhammer games but in that pose I can see the Predator choking an Alien

Pokemon Leaf Green as I have not yet finished it.
Starting new run in Bioshock 1 and I will try Super Mario 64.

I want that! I am afraid that I will start collecting all of those Soulslike books

Re: Talking Point: What's Your PS5 Game of the Year for 2024 So Far?
@ShogunRok That is wise not to include a DLC because Shadow of the Erdtree alone is better than all of the games on the list
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 535

Re: Preview: Star Wars Outlaws on PS5 Has a World of Possibilities, But Is Let Down by a Rough Demo
I love that Ubisoft is saving me money with their mediocre games and idiotic practices. Again, thank you Ubi for being trash

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 532
@Kanji-Tatsumi I play on GBA SP
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 532
My main focus now will be Hollow Knight and Half-Life 2 Episode Two.
If the time permits, I might play some more Baldur's Gate 3 and Minish Cap
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 531
@hypnotoad @KingPev Half-Life 2 is perfection. That is why Valve did not make 3. How can you surpass that? And it looks good 20 years later!
@Boucho11 Thank you! From time to time vacations are needed even from gaming

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Reveal Trailer Is Already the Most Disliked in Series History
Ubi are smart! They thrive on Yasuke's inclusion buzz just to cover up their terrible anti-consumer practices and pricing
Just like their Jedi Outlaws and Frontiers of Pandora.

@Kanji-Tatsumi I have it physically for the PSP
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 529
@freddquadros It is a little cheesy and happy ending, but I love such endings! Not everything has to end with loss and depression
@Kanji-Tatsumi 100% right! I need a couple more retro purchases to fill my CV collection
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 529
@KingPev I liked it. Not as much as the first LoS which as epic and Mirror of Fate
The ones that I consider bad or weird are Judgment, Kid Dracula, Grimoire of Souls and Harmony of Despair.
I am not even going to talk about the slot CV "games".
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 529

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Can Be Played Entirely Offline, Once You've Installed It
I see this will get free pass more and more because people are mainly focused on consuming the product than how it is handled and delivered.
The good thing is that I have a backlog to last me for a good lifetime or two and it is not even complete
Re: Physical Version of Assassin's Creed Shadows Needs Online Connection for Installation
I will not stand for it, and this will be the first AC game that I will now get. Same happened with Diablo 4.
I do not want to as for server permission every time I want to install the game.
And I am sure they are doing this just to prevent installation for people who did NOT buy their "play 3 days early" pass. Greedy idiots.
They could've just made the early play for digital version only and distribute the discs on launch day, but NO!
I am hoping for a gaming industry crash and reset after that.
Re: Seasons in Assassin's Creed Shadows Change Gameplay, Setting
@nomither6 It seems that way with AAA releases. The future is grim for physical collection gamers but still there are so many games with good physical releases that could give you playtime of couple of lifetimes

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Dated for 15th November in First Trailer
Ahhh one more thing. The physical disc will require internet connection to install because Ubi wants to sell their "Play 3 day early pass".
So, this is 100% NO buy if they do not change that.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Dated for 15th November in First Trailer
@pharos_haven Ok, then Assassin's Creed Curry is the name of the game
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Dated for 15th November in First Trailer

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 527
After finishing Fallout 4 I am going for Fallout New Vegas
And in the meantime, I will try to do some progress in Sekiro.
As for casual fun Quake 2 and Ocarina of Time will do just fine
Happy gaming to everyone!

3. Some casual play in Castlevania Portrait of Ruin
4. And a little Link to the Past
