Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 476

It's Star Wars Jedi Survivor mostly, as this game is taking most of my gaming hours. I slept after 1 a.m. for most of the week, this game is hard to put down. I want to explore the Egypt more in Assassin's Creed Origins, I'm missing the game already. Depending of the time, I will chip a little of Ghostwire Tokyo too, very good game!!

God bless you all friends!!

10/10 for me. I haven't seen any glaring technical issue. I even play most in resolution mode and it runs very well. The combat is great, improving from JFO in every way. The game is beautiful, packed of content, Star Wars lore (I'm a buff for it), the story is full of great surprises. This is a contender for GOTY.

I played this one on PS3, but couldn't complete it as my console died. Reached the World of Ruin and did some story quests. The game is truly endearing, the plot is great. I had to check a guide for time to time as it has a lot of missables and it isn't always clear where we have to go. But I can see why it's a eternal classic, so I will return someday and finish it.

@Ravix I agree, the only tedium I ever felt in RDR2 was when I tried to find the collectibles without a guide. TW3 I'm in the 3rd playthrough (because the PS5 version came and it's my favorite PS4 game).

Must play KCD someday, keep hearing great things about it. I imagine it must be quite the commitment, but I will brave it one day.

@Ravix I only wish RDR had more sidequests, tasks to do, sidestories like the Witcher 3. The sidequests it has are too sparse, the collectibles are almost impossible to find without a guide. I explored a lot, the world is really well crafted, alive and intriguing, but there isn't really a lot to acomplish. The Witcher 3 finds a nice balance in that regard.

@TheArt That's great to know, as I'm eager to play it for ages!! Even bought the complete edition already!! I see so many people complaining about Valhalla, and can't see why... To tell the truth, as I played almost all ACs, minus AC1 and Val, and never understood the grip people have with the action/RPG ones. Odyssey is a masterpiece for me, Origins is going great too. I'm sure I will love Valhalla as I really enjoy the Viking thematic and this kind of immersive and huge open world to get lost in.

@TheArt I I haven't played Valhalla yet, but already beaton AC Odyssey and Ghost of Tsushima DC, so, my take: GoT is really beautiful, the story is artful and deep, the open world is visually and conceptually amazing. The battle system, while quite engaging and well crafted, is limited. We can max the character half in the game, and even the DLC brings few additions. The game is much more repetitive because of this.

Odyssey for me is a superior game. The gameplay is much more varied, the DLCs adds lots of moves, new places and concepts. There are so many gameplay options, we can make diverse builds with the character. he world, while not as artistical as GoT's, is breathtaking too. Full of life, variety and history.

Sucker Punch must be commended for the incredible job they made with GoT, but Ubisoft are already masters of their craft. Anyway, loved both games. Now I'm playing Origins, them I will move to Valhalla.

Started Ghostwire Tokyo this week, very intriguing game!! Will continue in Japan and play more Yakuza 0 too, and depending of the free time, mop up the remaining Deliver Us The Moon trophies, Assassin's Creed Origins or Dragon Quest XI S. Have to clear some time, as soon HFW Burning Shores and Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be among us, and I will play both!!
