I wonder if there are links between visits to adult sites and PSN account hacks? It is also telling that when I watch Ginx TV that one of the main adverts is for a dating site.
This fits in fine with me. A bit of gaming in the morning, then listening to the El Claasico online, then time to get my dinner ready in time for the presser. I love it when a plan comes together.
There are too many games out at the moment - coupled with the fact I have other people's presents to buy mean that some games are going to slip until next year. I believe Mass Effect, FFV and Last Guardian are out before Christmas and I can only get one. I am also still to buy MSG5, Tomb Raider. Games like Dishonoured 2 and Watch Dogs 2 are way down my list. I bought Skyrim a few weeks back after missing it on PS3 and still haven't touched Transformers or EGTTR and have only partially played Resident Evil. Too many games, too little time.
As I don't game online I can wait for reviews if need be. Having said that I have ordered Skyrim for day one and Persona 5 will be a day one for me.
In the old days of Amstrad gaming the writers did a main review for games and then a green-screen view paragraph/section as you had a choice between the two screens depending on the budget. Maybe a section on how the Pro improves things/differs could suffice. Of course that would mean the reviewer having to play the game twice. In the Amstrad days game were much shorter.
Indeed it seems a campaign from Wikileaks to show support for Assange rather than Sony incompetence. I don't think you can prevent a DDOS attack no matter how much money you throw at it. Apart from making sure your devices all have decent security. But how do you protect wi-fi kettles which were used?
You mean to tell me that Konami still haven't got around to stopping people using option files to get around licencing issues? I thought that would be their top priority. Will play the demo and see if I like it.
Be militant like I will be over Gravity Rush 2. Get it but only play it on your Vita via remote play. In a certain light Vita has had more releases than PS4 that way. And with the L2/R2 triggers you don't miss out on gameplay.
For me to buy a Pro it would have to deliver more than prettier graphics which was the main part of the meeting. I only have a 720p TV and cannot really afford a new one so I won't benefit from it and games look pretty enough to me already.
If they improve AI and gameplay then I would re-think it.
What doesn't help the indie studios is how tardy Sony are at announcing the games in the first place. This time next week we will have the new set of games available to download and still no clue as to what games will be available.
This is pretty shoddy for a company that takes lots of subs from us and are meant to be a big multi-national. Surely they know some of the games they will be launching already.
Are they going to update the shonky control system. l love playing the games but having run and climb on the same buttons can make for frustrating playing.
Ezio is still my favourite protagonist - though Evie Frye is running him a close second.
I thought about buying it but £50 on PSN and £46 on Amazon made me think twice about a game I am not totally sure about. There maybe better deals but that is a lot of money. I think I'll wait until the inevitable price drop.
I don't understand why scrapping PS+ games for PS3/Vita would mean the end of patches for the games. Surely patches should be continued whatever. It doesn't take much space on Sony's servers to store them and won't make a huge dent on performance. Surely the biggest danger to patches is when the game makers no longer bother to patch them. With the games surely numbers will decide. I only use my PS3 to play Dark Souls and haven't used my Vita for ages. And that will soon be the same across all users. There will come a point where the demand isn't worth it.
A mixture this weekend. Hyper Light Drifter - interesting game and the few quid off makes use of my PS+ subscription. Furi - not too sure I'll have the patience for this one. Still working out the dodge mechanic - and still on the jailer. Witcher 3 B&W - still seem to be adding more quests than I complete but the stories are interesting.
Dark Souls 3 for me. Before the Souls series I never thought it was possible to both completely love and completely hate a game at the same time. The Witcher 3 was close but the slightly wonky control system lost top spot for me.
It is interesting because the most boring game for me, personally, is Grand Theft Auto. Too many uninteresting side stuff available - almost as bad as the collectathons on Assassin's Creed.
Give a more on-rails experience like Persona - and it doesn't suffer from the still broken vehicle mechanics on GTA, which is the main reason I don't bother with it. GTA5 didn't improve things for me and still sits there gathering dust.
I would like to say I am playing a wide range of games this weekend but Dark Souls 3 has got hold of me and I am playing nothing else. I am still exploring the the Undead Berg and finding new stuff. And I have got to the bonfire in the next area. I will go onwards soon.

Tomb Raider and FF15 around the football.
May try and dip into the Swindle and see if it is any good.

Re: Feature: The Promising PS4 Games of January 2017
Gravity Rush 2 will be the one I'll be buying this month, once I get paid.
Re: Final Fantasy XV Has the Worst Japanese Debut of Any Mainline Final Fantasy Game Since V
Why do you think Nintendo is bringing out the Switch? So they can corner the mobile market alongside the console one.
Re: PSX 2016: Download Bizarre PS4 Exclusive Let It Die for Free Right Now
Currently downloading it.
Go to the new releases section and you'll find it there.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 146
Some Skyrim, Diablo 3 and Lego Batman 3.
I bought ROTR in the PS 12 Days of Christmas so may start this.
Still deciding if my wallet can take FF15 - depends on the other deals.

Skyrim and Lego Batman 3.
Trying to decide whether to buy FF15 as I am only a third at best through Skyrim.
Re: Talking Point: Why Are Fall's Biggest Blockbusters Flopping?
I have a backlog of games already and the only games I intend to buy full price for is Persona 5 and possibly FF15.
Still haven't bought Rise of The Tomb Raider or MGS5 so the rest will wait behind that.
Unless you are desperate for immediate online play then you can wait for better deals.
I also wonder if the success of Overwatch and Destiny has damaged sales of the other FPS games. YouTube seems to be in love with Overwatch especially.

Well I think this will kill the system wars stone dead. I imagine there will be millions of Xbox owners crying into their pillows tonight.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 141
I have taken my first tentative steps into Skyrim having never got round to it on the PS3 - I have just killed my first dragon.
Probably won't play anything else this weekend.

Ratchet and Clank and Prominence Poker.
Had a couple of bad beats in the single player game with the hapless AI hitting on the river when behind.
Re: PlayStation Plus Price Increase Confirmed for US and Canada
If you look at it subjectively and rationally it is just a nicker a week.
Most of us spend more than that a day on junk food or over-priced coffee from one of those chains.
And I know people who spend £30/month on their phone contracts.
PS+ is cheap as chips really - free games and discounts off discounted games.

After finishing Uncharted 4 during the week it is back to The Witcher for some Blood and Wine.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 125
Back on the Uncharted 4 trail. Getting closer to the finish.
Re: Review: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (PS4)
This is on my buy list when I finally finish DS3, Uncharted 4, The Witcher Blood and Wine and Ratchet and Clank.
Good to see that they have tried to add some new gameplay to the mix.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 124
Some Uncharted 4 this weekend around the cycling and football.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with July's PlayStation Plus Games?
Don't have a 3DS, don't care about it.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with July's PlayStation Plus Games?
This is the best offering for a while I am getting three games from this Furi and both the Vita ones.
Re: BioWare Explains Why it Went for a Female Main Character in Mass Effect: Andromeda's E3 Trailer
I went as FemShep as most of other games I play have an identi-kit male grunt as your character.
Re: Talking Point: What July PlayStation Plus Free Games Do You Want?
I had a dream last night that we got a Vita version of Dark Souls which came out on PS Plus.
Back in the world of reality I would vote for Diablo 3 or Until Dawn. It would be too much to hope for both.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 123
Some Darks Souls 3 - just got into Lothric Castle.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: PS4 Slips to Second Place as New Software Dries Up
Something tells me that it is Phoenix Wright that is responsible for the surge in 3DS sales. Will be interesting to see what happens next week.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 121
Some Witcher 3 B&W, Uncharted 4 and I am just about to delve into Gone Home.

Re: No, Persona 5 Is Not Being Published By Sony in Europe
I don't see why we in the UK can't have the US version - we speak the same language, mainly, so there is no localisation issues.
I think it there is no release date pending I'll buy the US version if possible.
Absolutely lazy and poor marketing from Atlus - again.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 118
Dark Souls 3 and Uncharted 4.
Re: SEGA Wants Shenmue HD on PS4 As Much As You Do
I wonder whether Zippo and Timex would really be that upset at free advertising in a remastered cult game.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 117
Darks Souls 3 - have taken down two bosses so far and Uncharted 4.
