Probably will when on sale, especially with no enhancements, playing a game thats 13 years old will be rough going. Not worth 50, especially with so many awesome gane coming out in the next couple months

Passing on live service stuff

Very much doubt a standard hdd on a pc allows fast loading in 2-3 seconds , as a pc owner

I'm hoping its before nayuta, as its a spinoff and doesn't affect the 10+ game story directly though it may shed light on ouroboros grandmaster origins

Looking forward to trails into reverie and armoured core 6 (hoping its less souls like)

If it was ro remade I'd prefer a full 3d remake with an expanded story . Dint see rge point in replaying the same game with slightly upscaled graphics , parts with shadow and cyan king getting poisoned , MOG characters and secret character gogo etc

Nup no interest in multiplayer games. Get bored of doing constant team deathmatch to rank up. At least with destiny had other things you could do and the crucible was a small part of the game . Plenty of other games coming out. I hope live service games fail and teach Sony a lesson

Kinda obvious with the dlc being ps5 exclusive. The ps4 is almost ten years old. Console generations usually only run for 6 years, was longer due to the chip shortages. The ps5 will be 3 years this year and it's no that hard to get one these days, I get the ps5 isn't cheap as ssd 4th gen is fairly pricey ,, I image the ps6 will be the same if not not more expensive and again if a ps5 pro ever surfaces

Sony did the exact same thing with the PlayStation showcase

I am waiting for the ball to drop and they start charging 60-90 quid for expansions+battlepass every year just like destiny/bungie if activision play as normal

I'm not surprised about ff7 remake sales; releasing It in ps+ subscription was a bad move. Why would you need to buy if you get free on ps+, not only thst but releasing sub par games for £70. I rarely preorder games anymore with rare exceptions like the trails series , I didn't buy disblo 4 as beta left Abad taste in my mouth; it felt so much like destiny

Timeline is wrong trails of cold steel 1 starts in march 1204, trails to zero starts in Jan 1204, and finished is may 1204, azure starts in August 1204 and finishes Dec 1204, cold steel 2 starts in Nov 1204

It's not that surprising. Not many people have interest in live service games as basically cash grabs, especially with the way the economy is and inflation levels etc

@Sil_Am there's not a lot if difference between switch and PlayStation version tbh apart from light graphics upgrade. I played ps4 version , no issues

@Bingo-Bongo if anything it would need to be a remaster/remake as trails in the sky came out in jp 2006 and wasn't brought to the west til 2011 . I don't see it happening tbh . I'd rather they focus on newer titles, even zero/azure was pretty dated ; as much as I enjoyed it

I'm really hoping it's not a handful of characters and the rest of the characters are dlc at a fiver a character; like the majority of fighting games the last 6 or so years , really put me off buying any fighting games 🙄

There are a number of factors like subscription services, as quite a lot of less well off people are subing to them and not buying games so in a way can be bad for the gaming industry. Also a lot of games are only 15-20 hours so not really worth the £|$70 price tag, so I only buy the title that have a decent length and replay ability, so I'm more cautious about what I buy, also saving for a morgage so cutting back. Along with other things like inflation, people have less money, due to the riding costs of food and utilities. So a lot are struggling. Personally its not affecting me much as I am constantly pushing myself to get a better wage, a lot of people are in minimum wage jobs etc so the cost of living crisis is affecting them more. I also tend to buy games on online retailers so usually get 10/15% off the rrp price, gslet most games for £50 or under

Only playing the opening level buy sp ts a lot better than fallen order, the maps a lot easier to navigate and sidekick is cool

I really have no interest in activision/blizzard games most are grindy cash grabs - diablo 4 plays a lot like destiny and looks like they could monopolize it like destiny expansions ĺ

Great news, Microsoft already own like 20 franchises with zenimax studio etc. I would reckon if activision weren't such a crap company, pushing out lootboxes and microtransactions not including all the lawsuits for secual harassment etc they wouldn't be selling

On pc its much better, console components aren't good enough for cloud gaming, at least another 15-20 years away . Sony should need to implement a system to sell digital content and all physical shops would need to disappear plus internet providers need better infrastructure

I can't wait, just completed trails into azure; I'm hoping there aren't minigames trophies; as the horror coaster trophy was absolutely murder to get along with pom pom party in azure 🤣🤣

@Moto5 yeah fair. I mainly focused the physical abilities like were bear but didn't touch magic that much; just surprising as I was like level 17 and dungeon was level 13 and changed equipment often. Yet could hardly touch the boss . I guess it's more rpg like as possibly certain bosses more effected by magic And resistant to physical attacks 🧐

@Moto5 yeah but doesn't help that dodgeroll is an ability that refreshes every 5 seconds

@Cutmastavictory I was actually. Done hardly any damage to the bosses but had no issues with regular enemies

@Tomato_Goose yeah I get that but not to the point where you attacks are doing hardly any damage , like taking of a sliver if damage and boss can take like a quarter of your health in one attack

Reduce the bosses difficulty as way harder than enemies you fight

Honestly better with a monitor for gaming, especially since 1440ip has been added

Already paid for it, looks decent, hopefully less qtes is a good thing as absolutely hate them 😅

Not that important as this game is a spin off about God's of adios and set in a different universe so won't affect the story as far as I'm aware

@Dr-M was mostly on and off as tend to jump off for new games, because kind like a bad girlfriend that you keep hoping thry would change but never so and offer the exact same end game stuff. So I'm out of chances with bungie 😂😂😂

@Krysus I guess I've just been unlucky then I was constantly getting kicked from parties because I got complained I didn't know what I was doing as first time doing dungeons or got accused of being a bot and kicked because I went away for 1 min to grab something to eat etc

@Tharsman I wouldn't really consider ffXIV live service as there expansions are massive , plus vendors and loads of quests , I've played most of it just not done shadowbringers expansion . I got sick of the minority toxic players that chuck me from the dungeon if I've never done it before or using the right skills. I will get back to it at some point but so many games out the now. I just mean terrible live service like destiny -, the end game content hasnt changed from 2013 , constantly repeat the same 4/5 tasks every week over and over , ffxiv has so much content and no vaulting content and vendors don't update their equipment

@Darthmoogle tbh majority of games are like that to some degree, e.g games that autosave have saves stored on the server, its more prevalent on pc but the majority of games has some aspect on a server , these days there's very little difference between physical and digital and gap is getting smaller every gen, soon enough disks won't exist anymore just the cloud

@nomither6 I'd say no ; just a game with an expansion pass though the last borderlands had two season passes , same for last assassins creed

Not really surprised it looked absolutely terrible plus not many are keen on live service games, just look at how badly the avengers did ; also comparing how well the arkham games did non-live aervice . I'm pretty sick of destiny as a live service tbh I'll probably be stop playing after the current expansion and I've been playing since 2013. Gamers are wiseing up , we are clear these are massive cash grabs. Open for people to change my opinion though
