@dancingmind yeah zero/azure are like one game split in two. Apparently reverie has cut some characters, she's in reverie but then disappears until part 2 of the calvart saga

@emj2010 not quite trail from zero starts in january 1204, trails of cold steel 1 starts in march 1204, the end of trail from azure you see in the first part of trails of cold steel 2. so theres slight spoilers from trails of cold steel 2 for trails into azure as azure starts at the same time as trails of cold steel 1 is ending

@colonelkilgore I wouldn't skip any. It's not like final fantasy games etc every game is connected. If you can I'd start at the beginning trails in the sky but they are only on pc I think. Otherwise trails of cold steel 1&2 then trail from zero and trail from azure then trails of cold steel 3&4 then reverie

I think it's awesome. Play similarly to star ocean 4, plus I'm a massive star trek geek . Always about the hit and run gameplay. the skills tree is decent that choose how to play, what abilities and spells to learn and when to level stats. Character models look fine, having completed the demo can't wait for release next Wednesday

Ichiban needs more crew members plus a thousand sunny . Be interesting to see what happens especially with like a dragon 8 bringing back kiryu br interesting if kiryu gets his own party or joins up with ichiban. Probably better if kiryu gets his own party , especially if majima is invited

Worth nearly as much as 5 regular ps5 controllers - through online traders like shopto. Plus ps5 controllers I've bought have joystick drift issues. Unless the quality is way way mproved I'd say no chance . May pick one up in sale, but costs outweighs the benefits. This gen has all been about a quick buck on remasters and too many games focusing on appearance same goes for the controller

Don't think it's that's outlandish, it would make sense. No show case has been announced true but when do Sony ever announce things these days , very rarely . They are very quiet which Is unnerving so it's not really denying anything just not showing it like it never happened

@Eldritch it wasn't clear which is why I asked. Also I've got the games of the chronicles trilogy and they work , ive literally been playing them downloaded from the ps store . Syndicate is a separate issue so No I'm not misinforming people . Syndicate is ubisoft issue but will likely not be fixed as its an old game . However the fact that the chronicles games don't work on ps+ but from my experience work downloaded from ps store seems to me a Sony issue and if its not the case then also unlikely that will be fixed as again old game no one on ubisoft is working on them

@Kang81 nah played assassins creed chronicles india/Russia. Via backwards compatibility on ps5 downloaded from ps store as bought them in sale on ps store a while back. I said it's likely syndicate will probably work unless it's an separate issue as not part of the trilogy. Probably ps+ that's an issue

@Dr_Luigi it's the spinoff games in China, India and Russia that are 2d platformer ; nothing to do with syndicate

Works so far on ps5 , I bought them through ps store , it'll be a Sony issue most likely. Though an error does come up that you may experience strange behavior whilst playing this game in ps5 but on the menu and no issues so far. Also Sammy why did you say syndicate? Isn't India,China and Russia ? As syndicate has got nothing to do with that trilogy unless its only 2 games out the trilogyand syndicate. If that's the case, it's technically not a trio 🤔

new star ocean and gow ane possibly the new pathfinder game; been very careful with my purchases as most game this and last gen have all been about graphics and shallow gameplay, last few games i've preordered I've ended up trading in. Valkyrie Elysium was absolutely mind blowing boring same repeat3ed quests, same enemies with a different colour palette , i tried so much to like it , im really looking forward to playing persona 3 and 4 again next year and eagerly awaiting trails into azure and the finale trails into reverie end of 2023

Slightly concerning with saints row being one of higher budget games considering the outdated gameplay that feels more at home in ps2 Era. Even considering gtav has been out for ten years and is miles better. Also the characters were very boring . Here's hoping the embracer group do better with their other franchises like legacy of kain/ tomb raider / deus ex . I really don't see a future for saints row unless they reboot it again

I understand. Unfortunately Sony can't do what Microsoft do as they have close to twenty times the capital to Sony. Plus I don't buy into the subscription model anyway. I'm only gaming at weekends and it doesn't suit me that games change every 3 months or so. Especially with the utilities and inflation going high

Likely upscaled 4k. It's not bad for the price but probably wouldn't go fir anything less than 240 hz refresh rate but those kinda monitors are like a grand+. Just recently bought two 2k monitors 240 hz for about a grand

graphics don't make the game, the gameplay doesn't seem that different from past star oceans ,. a lot was hit and run xd

any information for pre-orders? It'll probably more in line with the black flag spin off probably 15-20 hours. Mote interested in assassins creed in Japan but be hard pressed with ghost of tsushima being so good

I'm reaching the end of chapter 7. Not a massive fan of thr visual novel stuff but I live my anime and the story has been outstanding plus picking up a free mon here and there. Only minus is the digimon only have one attack move buy you can equip items to add special attacks . Interesting karma system . Story is pretty interesting, going down horror route , kinda similar to 13 sentinels. Also digimon is way, way better than Pokémon. Shame there's no DNA fuzion that would be epic. Much better than cyber sleuth imo

Tbh there's not been any decent games on PlayStation but looking forward to soul hackers 2 and new saints row

Still stand by my original statement same game with slightly better graphics - cash grab . There not alone a lot of games companies are releasing sloppy remasters with slight graphical tweaks . For example mafia 1 remake . Same outdated gameplay but updated to 4k like using crayons on an oil painting . Also persona 5 remaster - again slightly upgraded graphics, possibly Ray tracing but the game is fairly new so don't believe it's needed and its not free upgrade to those that own it. I'm being very selective about what games I buy these days considering most cost 70 quid although I tend to get them for roughly 55 on shop to unless I get dlc example soul hackers 2 with full dlc cost 80 quid on ps store as no delux/ special edition available in physical form

Surprised it's still called fifa . Also they should bring the story mode back. I enjoyed it though not as good as NBA 2k or the like. Loved the Thierry Henry bits in France. Also used be so many different football games on consoles like actua soccer, victory goal , virtua striker etc. Really needs more competition to drive the games

Why does e eryone wanna use a ps4 controller for ps5. Makes no sense, ps5 duualsense is way better. Also I don't have old consoles lying around I traded them in when the new console came out .

As long as its not as bad as watchdogs legion lol. I think the Americans will struggle with the old English accent so I think this is hilarious, going by experience as a few American friends I have struggle to understand what I'm saying 😅
