personally i think they should get the DMC v director for ff17r-2 as the combat looks sick in ff16; as for complaints abouts ff7R going too like kingdom hearts, I don't see the issue, as along time KH fan, played every single KH game . Its pointless to release the same game with better graphics, looking at recent lou1 remake and mafia 1, terrible cash grabs. im glad its going in a different direction. its like a multiverse, that follows a different timeline to original ff7. im also excited to see zack being alive but this could throw a spanner in cloud's lies. also looking forward to ever crisis and crisis core remaster . from what is probably larger areas, expanded quests, possibly more of those vr battles, what about cameos from other final fantasy characters , could be multiple cid's like ff12. i did not enjoy those fort condor minigames from intergrade so hopefully less of that and im also thinking sephiroth won't be the bad guy after all he knows what's gonna happen.
also still a remake, does anyone actually know the meaning, ie remaking the Game, changing it so follow the ideas they had but could do due limitation in technology in 1997, its pointless releasing the same story, same gameplay, atb is done, its been going since 1987

Not usually one for visual novels though I did enjoy the visual novel/ part fighting game with robots something sentinels I think from Bandai

Highly unlikely it will be a free upgrade due to all dlc included plus I don't rate p5R the story was only extra 20 hours if that and the bad guy was lame, just a poor copy of the bad guy from p5

So essentially the only reason final fantasy characters were in the first two games was to act as a filler because they didn't have enough Disney characters . It feels like Disney spat out their dummy because there was too much focus on final fantasy characters though they saw to add a marvel character in kingdom hearts 3 . The 3rd games story was terrible it just doesn't make sense to cut the final fantasy characters with no warnings , at least have some sort of story to explain what happened to them . As soon of the Disney world can be quite a cringe fest

No interest at present if its the same game with updated graphics ; not even a remaster , just like mafia 1 supposed remake.

Looks cool, I wasn't a fan of the xcomm games are they were too hard for me but this looks different to xcomm so might be decent

Looks interesting, I'm not usually big on indie titles. I personally loved edge of eternity. It has potential to be a series. As edge of eternity devs are making a second game as well . Considering lots of indie devs don't have a great budget in looks good. Too many games, this gen and ps4 has focused far too heavily on graphics and less on gameplay or story and most are fairly short 15-25 hours

@Wazeddie22 yeah I suppose depending on what difficulties level etc ,probably longer for me as I only really game at weekends due to try keep the electric bill down and studying lol

@Wazeddie22 trails games aren't that long 25-30 hours well compared to long j-rpgs like persona 5 etc

Europe/uk getting screwed again. I get that we can't have the crossbell games yet as they've not been officially localised yet but Sony done this back in ps3 generation as certain games were out in the US but not on uk's like breath of fire 3/4 , legend of dragoon. It doesnt make sense why certain countries have certain games and other don't. Accept if they were banned due to cultural or ethnic reasons

Well the question is will Sony allow cross gen so you don't need to buy the same game twice as I've just spend 2.5k on upgrading my pc lol so would love to be able to play like mebe my digital purchases on pc mebe not now but n the future. Also mobile gaming is really starting to take off. I just hope Sony don't get distracted on pc/mobile gaming and stop the ball on console releases unless they make new divisions for pc/mobile . I mean that's a business management 1-1 to expand your business and diversify to increase market share but will it be enough to separate from Microsoft who are ahead in this area ? Especially since Sony don't have a dedicated cloud service thst microsoft/x-box have built ; especially considering how limited PS NOw or is sony gonna invest more money in the cloud systems and apps as game as a service is part of the cloud infrastructure. Reason being as bungie barely put any capital in their servers compared to square Enix with the amount kf servers they have . This just business in general they don't let a lot of effort in their I.T systems, speaking as a business graduate and from experience

Seems a bit high percentage with the amount of crybaby entitled fans complaining they have to pay to play online . PlayStation isn't the same with Jim Ryan changing things. Especially with talk of sony wqnting to move more titles to pc and aiming to hit 300 million profit. last year ps+ has had to many multiplayer games there only been a handful of months with decent titles . I'm still holding off on wether to upgrade to premium . I really don't like the game pass_ps now way of doing things I e the games changes every 3 months or so ; luckily my normal ps+ doesn't run out til November

Probably Sony trying to cut corners financially , as the ntsc versions would be more expensive especially to have both pal and ntsc available. Just hope more ps2 games get added soon

Jensen needs a big game to finish off his tale as mankind divided puy too much focus in the hacking minigame plus a deus ex 1 remake please 😁

gonna be weird going back to trails in the sky type graphics after completing all trails of cold steel games

for now I'm not sold, unless they bring back certain ps1/2 classic rpgs, i really don't like the idea of ps now, that games change every 3 months or so plus i've heard streaming is pretty laggy, never really invested in it. i know sony's history of not really investing in anything long like psp/vita/ps tv etc, also im not really gaming much at the moment as focusing on other things

well star ocean meant to be out this year and im pretty sure ff16 changed development teams like 6 months ago very unlikely its out this year , plus the fact SE just lost big by selling western rpgs to embracer group and losses from the poor mans destiny game and avengers, i don't see it coming out til next year unless it like late November/December

@Tharsman true last few games haven't been great but I'm looking forward to star ocean, ff16 and ff7R part 2. Hopefully SE see the light that blockchain is bad news

I get sony want to be better at live service but bungie is one of the worst examples , I think square Enix would be a better fit, ff14 is amazing compared to destiny

if live service is done right, im all in, bungie does it badly, square enix and ff14 does it a lot better ; im not practically interested in online games , prefer single player j-rpgs

Not unsurprisingly, as Jim Ryan doesn't understand the consumers, never believed in backwards compatibility and games that were meant to be ps5 exclusive changed to come out on ps4 . , plus knick on effect of covid with lots of games being delayed. Will have to see how the new ps+ effects things

@Rural-Bandit actually that's what I have been doing play ps4 games at 60 frames . I don't have many ps5 games. The first couple years of every new console has always slow. I have less than 5 ps5 games

Depending on what games are included, would love to play legend of dragoon again and the shadow hearts games/koudelka , grandia 1

Love new horizon, as for elden ring being my first souls like game its been interesting; although not nearly as hard as i thought it would be , especially since can get extra help with multiplayer 😀

I've only played about 7 hours so far and quite a chunk of that was in machine strike. Only issues I've had is clipping with aliyah hair and climbing ladders the hands go through the ladders 😂

Waiting for a price drop , not a fan of hard-core difficulty , I like to enjoy games not stress me out 😂 so probably a 6/10

Funny thing having choice. I only paid 63 55 for ps5 version so wasn't that much in it , plus it's annoying as ps4 upgrade keeps downloading the ps4 version than ps5, plus everytme I've done the free upgrade there were issues e.g assassins creed valhalla took months to allow the trophies to transfer from ps4 to ps5

I sold my ps4 lol.all on ps5 + 4k tv. 8k tv is in the list to get. Mebe for the ps6 lol. As best ps5 will do is upscale the 8k
