Re: Sony 'Vastly Overpaid' in 'Desperation' for Bungie, Says Outspoken Analyst Michael Pachter

johnny30

No think Sony paid the right amount especially since Sony are really cranking out the films. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a trilogy movie out of destiny and/or tv series to rival star wars/marvel . As Sony is thinking long term not just games. Although I'm not a fan of bungies prices; ive been a destiny fan since day 1. Wouldn't be surprised if there's spin off like destiny racing or anime/manga

Re: Reaction: We Need to Talk About Tiny Tina on PS Plus

johnny30

Doesn't really bother me that much mainly pay to play online, games can be a bonus but the last year its been bad with the multiplayer games and with godfall dlc now this. So I can understand why some are annoyed/angry with Sony. Sony has Not been the same since Jim Ryan took over

Re: Sony's PS Plus, PS Now Cross-Gen Bullsh*t Continues

johnny30

It changed a while back 2 ps4 games + 1 ps5 game. I don't see the issue. Can always add the ps5 to your library, even if you don't currently own a ps5. Same way as i've been added psvr games to my library (waiting on psvr 2.0). I really don't see the issue. Simple fact is ps4 is winding down. I'd say in the next 2-3 years no more ps4 games will be made . After all, it will ten years since the ps4 was released November next year. Most consoles generation last ten years. It will also tie in with the microchip issues as apparently they will be fixed next year.

Re: Poll: Would You Still Buy PlayStation Consoles Without Activision Blizzard Games?

johnny30

@Hibari89 doubt Sony has that kind of capital. Sony are a much, smaller company to Microsoft.; in fact until ps4 Sony were practically going bankrupt. Even there efforts to compete will gamepass will probably fall flat on its face, Sony just don't have the money to compete against Microsoft on even ground unless they do something like collaborate with Nintendo although saying that Sega almost exclusively release their games on PlayStation.

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate PS Plus in 2021?

johnny30

Pretty poor, too many multiplayer games and I had ps+ since day 1 and not stopped and godfall dlc was a bad move. Also not allowing certain ps+ games to be upgraded to ps5. Then made a 360 on ff7 allowed to be upgraded just at the end of the year there

Re: The Latest Trails Game, Kuro no Kiseki, Is Already Getting a Sequel in Japan Next Year

johnny30

Be strange going back to azure/zero as its using dated gameplay from trails in the sky after completing trails of cold steel 1-4. I'm patient as plenty of other games to play unless falcom getting a different publisher to do the new games. I guess it's hard as the trails games are such a niche product. I loved trails in the sky although very slow in the first game. The story was managed a lot better than trails of cold steel . Hard going because cold steel had so many characters to manage . As trails in the sky number if characters were smaller.

Re: It's Been One Year Since the Release of Cyberpunk 2077

Game still broken after a full year of fixes. Game crashes albeit not as much as before. Character models still the a few minutes to load in. I've not played in six months. Started a new game recently. Last time I played the racing missions, the car was literally falling through the road(incredibly bad clipping). Hopefully that they've at least fixed that issue

Re: Talking Point: Is Sony Being Stingy with PS5's First-Party Pricing?

johnny30

I've skipped returnal, in my view it's an indie game or at least indie level production. Plus not into rogue-like games. I bought ratchet and clank rift apart buy traded it in a week later , while graphically pretty lack gameplay like previous games, small levels. It's been like that for a lot of ps4/5 games while graphically stuff hardly any gameplay like the order 1888. I usually buy my games online like shop to, game collection , base. I generally avoid buying digital games unless there's a really good sale . I get why the prices are high on ps store; to keep the brick and mortar shops open like game but even game charges full price, where I can get 15% off from shop to in most cases

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Tales of Arise?

johnny30

Probably an 8, I felt like alphens arts weren't as good as previous tales hero's and the story could have been better. Fely like a rip off of the xillia storyline Plus the fishing got introduced a bit late in the game. Definetly better than zesteria and berseria and some nice easter eggs etc. Hopefully they remaster xillia 1 and 2.

Re: Soapbox: I Don't Know How to Feel About This PS4-to-PS5 Upgrade Uproar

johnny30

For £70 games would have to have a lot of content. In my eyes 16-20 hours of content is not worth 70 quid. Not matter if its ps4 or 5. I get with increasing costs etc. $70 in America is only £50 roughly and in the US you don't get taxed for games so there's a big difference. I recently the new ratchet and clank game and it was really graphically pretty but the levels were short so not worth the money plus the majority the game was taken over by a different character. But that's a different argument. I ended up trading the game in and got about 80% of my money back from the trade in.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut?

johnny30

I've barely finished the first chapter of the original game. No way I spending that kinda money on essentially an expansion. Wait til its 15-20 quid max..plus just shelled out for the western digital 2tb nvme ssd and upgraded the ram on my pc so absolutely skinto
