I didn't finish it because the final chase was awful, but I did really like the part when you were reverting to your childhood, looping through the apartment with the camera getting lower on every loop. That was cool!

@MomsSpaghetti I finished it during my GP trial and I regretted it. I wanted to see if it ever got back to the highs of that first NIN boss fight, but it didn't.

This review was eye-opening to me, though, because I thought the writing was terrible and the characters were incredibly irritating. I've always been really confused by the high praise this game gets, and discovering that some people actually like the writing helps explain it!

@Triumph741 Can you please say what every number from 1 to 10 is? 7 being "mediocre" and 10 being "good" has my mind reeling.

@Matroska I'm gonna be honest with you since no one else is... he is annoying as he looks. And he DOES look annoying. I was so annoyed by him in the first game.

EDIT: Being annoying is kind of a required trait of a Star Wars protagonist, though.

I was interested in Sackboy when I got my PS5, then I found out it had a Moonlandingz song in it and immediately bought it. Great game. Check it out if you like Lias and the boys!

A note on Sayonara Wild Hearts: I love the game, but it is MUCH better in "album mode", where levels run back-to-back without breaks. This mode is available under settings, but only AFTER playing through the game once with the levels broken up. It is a truly stupid move, but just be aware that there is a better version of the game available after you beat it once!

@Would_you_kindly There's a free Hitman 3 Starter Pack that you can load 1 and 2 into. I think that will give you VR.

I see this game has learned a very important lesson from Elden Ring: You should just be able to whip your horse out of your pocket whenever you want!

@QualityGeezer I thought the world was amazing. The lore is cool, even if it's hard to piece the story together. I think stumbling across NPCs out of nowhere is so cool. And the combat is really fun. It's not really about being hard at all, it's just a fun game to explore and fight monsters.
