i don’t care, overwatch needs competition so i’m playing rivals, and hoping concord succeeds regardless. tired of the stale ass FPS, the genres been stale for so damn long. idc if the market is oversaturated , keep trying until there’s a new hit .

for the most part it’s been the same top handful of multiplayer games for YEARS , meanwhile single player games always get a new flavor of the month

@NEStalgia game devs still arent pushing hardware to their limits like they used to. i remember when games used to make systems run hot, because of how much processing power they used. nowadays devs cut so many corners and half ass games that it doesn’t even matter if we’re at the “end game” with hardware. the only thing “bigger” about games is their bloated uncompressed file sizes and uncompressed prices; $70 for modern games is a joke when you had 7th generation games that were more groundbreaking with significantly less gigs and well worth the price. i’ve been playing previous generations more than ever , ever since 9th gen so-called “started”

i’ll even go as far as to say even nintendo is cutting corners and never pushed the switch to its full potential with any of their exclusives

and idk about activision, they had some banger spider-man games - Spider-man PS1, Spider-man 2, Ultimate Spider-man, Shattered Dimensions, Web of Shadows (although actually mid) still was special

@GymratAmarillo uhhh, who said that you had to get rid of your console(s) or something? i sure as hell didn’t get rid of mines. Kinda ironic when you mentioned having more options. you made good points though; i guess it’s just a matter of perspective and personal opinions. it just seems like you’re gimping/bottle-necking yourself when you upgrade a console of the same generation since it’s still at the mercy of the base model limitations, at least PC versions are more tailored and exclusive to get more bang for your buck

Pro “upgrade” was cool and had a “wow factor” to it at first, but at this point it just seems like a sham and another way to nickel & dime; just get a PC at this point. the practice is gonna become dated.

@PerpetualBoredom sounds good. i hope it’s easy to pick up and play after taking long breaks , because i tend to play it the same way you did at a slow pace. i haven’t played my switch in a while and it’s about that time i do. the ps5 has been underwhelming for me imo so ive just been bouncing around to older consoles i have & buying some hidden gems.

i just wish nintendo games went on damn sale

@Korgon agreed. i had fun with it, love the bazooka chick(ruka i think it is?). just needs more maps and more quality of life like play of the game, visible scoreboard all times, tutorial/practice range, killcams etc. oh and more modes

All i got from this is , instead of remastering SA2, instead of remastering Heroes, instead of remaking Sonic 06, etc

they just take the PC version of a 13 year old game and cherry pick stage DLCs ..

@theSpectre It’s popularity was because it was one of the first games, and also free game, when the ps4 came out . There were other free games like knack, blacklight retribution, warframe, etc, and outlast was one of the few that stood the test of time; I presume you played one or more outlast games, so i’d like to ask why do you think it’s overrated?

i remember gundamn , exoprimal, splitgate, hyenas, knockout city, rumbleverse, foamstars, gigantic, xdefiant, outriders, multiversus, rogue company, etc etc

splitgate was actually ok but the problem is , it’s just mid & i had no idea it was an unfinished product the entire time until now. that’s pretty disturbing
