But which of those ps4 and pc things are reasons for the ps5 to be selling well? They may have released stuff but none of that is a reason for ps5 doing well. My point is they have done nothing for the ps5. Which is amazing considering how well it's selling.

@invictus4000 no? Got no reason to at the minute. Also have much greater priorities. I have said they should cut the ps4 dead weight for ages, as a ps4 only owner, but they should not release the main game for the outdated ps4 and then not the dlc that's ridiculous.

As a massive fan of the first hzd, I'm annoyed that this isn't coming to ps4. If they'd have done what they should have done in the first place, and made the base game a ps5 exclusive to showcase what the machine could do, and not release it on the older console, it'd be fine. But as it is, they DID decide to grab the cash from cross gen and then decide to spit in those users faces. Shame really as I would love more horizon.

Only got forbidden west on ps4 so nah no dlc for me. Shame really as hzd was my game of the generation but nevermind. Couldn't play ff7r yuffie stuff either 😔

@BlackMayge Fables, watchmen, the mask, kick ass, anything in the new 52 Scott snyder batman era, kingdom come, the walking dead (the first compendium is incredible, gets gradually worse through the 4 but still worth a read).

This is where they sell you back ps3 compatibility at a premium and maybe try and claim 4k 60fps ray tracing. It's stupid, greedy and predatory in the current environment but of course it will happen at some point.

How's it run on (original, not pro) ps4? Demo seemed fine but may issues elsewhere.

The state of play format works for reveals. They should simply do a playable demo to download when the sop has been aired (think old demo disc style. Multiple demos as part of the state of play download list covering everything that was revealed) .
It'd probably ruin some of the appeal for ps premium, but paying for the privilege of a demo is bloody stupid anyway so that's on Sony.

@KidBoruto from what I read about his work on Arkham games he had no clue what was going on during the whole process, and can't imagine he'd know too much about the whole "game as a service" thing. Presumably based on the feedback he'd have had from previous work, he would assume he would be giving the fans more of what they wanted. Hope it doesn't ruin the legacy too much.

Guardians was one of the absolute highlights of my gaming year, and I really hope it gets a sequel. Though granted I wouldn't have played it if not for extra. Can't speak for much else on the list. But Squeenix are not the company they once were when it was almost a guaranteed quality product.

All this love and care and they can't make the foliage move when he walks through it. Also, what in God's name did they do to Salazar, he now looks like Sandi Toksvig.
But other than that, game looks great.

@helbertpina seems hit and miss. I own syphon filter 12 and 3 on vita, as well as few other ps1 classics. Syphon filter 3 shows free of charge, but none of the others do. I'm on ps4 and ps plus extra, but do the purchases on the app, for reference.

Got a rare spare 4 hours later, so continuing Ghost of Tsushima. Enjoying it in drips and drabs as it is basically go here, kill this group and repeat, but the views as I am GETTING to the guys I have to mash up are incredible (minus some sh! tty water effects). Long game so far, think I'm on act 2.

Extra is great value. Even for someone like me with very little gaming time available, I have more than got my money worth just from miles morales, gotg, ff7, medievil and South Park and currently ghost of tsushima. For the more die hard enthusiast, it must be the greatest thing to have come along in a while.

Other than ratchet there's still not a definite reason for me to get one tbh.

As good as the first vr was, i paid £320 i think and got vr worlds free plus cashback, i hardly ever used it.
I would like the vr2 but feel the cost of investing (already reluctant for the ps5 let alone the vr) is not equal to the amount of use it'd ever get (especially with a new baby on the way). But it certainly looks like it is trying to take itself seriously as a bit of kit.

Kill off various characters (start with Ezras flash...) via horrible story based fatalities and introduce new, better takes on them for the films, games and comics that follow. Easy.

Won't be able to play now until Thursday (seriously my gaming time is Thursdays after 8 and alternate Wednesdays after 8), but I've decided to take a break from the stick of truth trophy clean up and go through ff7 for the 86th time, but this time with the option to play at 3x speed and trophies on ps4. I don't think I will ever not love this fella.

@NeThZOR they did a psa on this very site that you could save a tenner by not buying the ps5 version and everyone was like "nah, I'll just pay the extra". People be weird.

I will literally never have time to get through kingdom hearts from the beginning, so won't even start, but this month is a bit of a belter by looks.

@NomNom probably right regarding Activision. Having said that I'd have thought they would have gone for it when tomb raider etc was on the cards. Now they'd literally be buying it for final fantasy.

If I get chance I'll carry on with stick of truth. I haven't watched South Park since I was about 12, 20 odd years ago, but this may be the funniest game I think I've played.

Played about an hour maybe of the first one, got to some big Knight thing, died, never went back to it. None of the souls likes appeal to me really.
I love ninja gaiden, always felt it was tough as nails but was fair and I much prefer the speed and movement but it never felt overwhelming.
I'd be surprised if Sony aren't looking at purchasing TN/KT though after the exclusive rpg comes.
