I’m loving the new dlc but I also really enjoy mk1. The gameplay itself is by far in its best place it’s been since launch and the same for can be said for the modes like invasions. The twisted timeline stuff can be hit or miss but it does lend well to the random fights in invasions. I guess $50 is pricey but many other online games have $40 battle passes and basically only provide cosmetics. I guess if you don’t like mk1 to begin with then you’re gonna be disappointed when the dlc doesn’t “fix” the game.

I thought it was pretty good. The ghost reveal obviously but some of that other stuff caught my eye. Loved the art style of that first indie game they showed!

People are all over it on YouTube. I liked it on all three channels I watched it on haha. Even made the wife come watch it

An overly dramatic article written for an overly dramatic fanbase. The live service market is incredibly hard to crack but one that Sony needs to pursue regardless. It was always going to be a shotgun approach as almost all of these games, regardless of company, die fairly quickly. Remember how much everyone liked The Finals? And then we stop hearing about it a month later. I never played concord but I guess the gameplay was good (as pushsquare loved to preach). People didn’t react well to it and so it goes, on to the next try.

I came to the understand that the snitch was suppose to be ultra hard to catch and didn’t happen very often. When I was young I use to think quidditch was pointless but as I got older I realized what Harry Potter was accomplishing was suppose to be a Herculean feat. Not sure the movies do a good job explaining that when all we ever see is the snitch being caught.

Was considering it but decided to keep my plate open for Astro bot and space marines. So just small games for my next couple weeks.

Astro looks awesome. I was also pretty interested in the dynasty warriors game. Everything else looked decent but I don’t expect everything to be for me so I’ll take two winners.

Never played a musou game before but this looks like a great entry point for me to jump in.

I’ve been playing this game on my portal and I love it. It’s been perfect for the handheld.

Super excited for this! Ys 8 was my first in the series and is now one of my favorite games of all time. I haven’t got around to 9 yet because I wasn’t super in to the drab aesthetic but 10 looks amazing!

Man I think this month is awesome! As a racing fan I’ve had my eye on the Lego game. Not sure id play the power wash game but sable is definitely something I’d try out!

I don’t know why people are so critical. I think it’s a fun idea having kong slowly take over an island. Could be a pretty good ps2 era brawler.

It was a good showcase for games coming to ps5. Who cares that a lot of the games were third party. Is showing Alan wake 2 or dragon dogma 2 any worse than showing Ghost of Tsushima 2? I don’t thinks so. Trolls on the internet just want exclusives so they can dunk on each other.

Ys VIII, what a masterpiece!

Vampire Survivors is an awesome game. It’s the first and only game I’ve bought for my Series S so far so it’s basically just become my console for that.

I bought Toy Story 2 the day it became available. I was feeling the hype for Lightyear at the time. Replaying the game was great. Unfortunately the movie was not so pleasant.

Great preview! I’ve been moderately excited for the game, but after reading this I’m stoked. The combat paired with the dualsense features sound awesome!

I’ve really been enjoying my time with this game. It takes some getting use to, but I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun multiplayer shooter.

I didn’t want to see any more on GoW so I skipped that trailer.

“Minor games” is music to my ears. They show too much of the first party AAA games that I will buy regardless.

I played the game through ps+ and loved it, but I didn’t get to the game until a few months after the game had released, and it was still very buggy. The whole ending cutscene to the story never played, and after some confusion, I had to just go on YouTube to look it up and watch it. So to say that a game in that state would have sold so much better than the equivalent they were compensated might be a stretch.

At first glance I thought this list had some pretty big omissions, but it’s hard to make an encompassing indie list when so many indies are just PS4 games playable on the PS5.

Maybe my favorite game from the PS4 generation.

Never heard of this, but anything with dualsense implementations has me intrigued. I’ll have to check it out.

I feel like this article is about a bunch of nothing. They offered Tiny Tina’s for free not long after stand alone expansion came out. Regardless of the price it’s widely regarded as good and worth playing. Doing that to market for a game based on the expansion that is about to come out makes sense. I follow video games so I knew about the expansion, and as someone who has never played borderlands, I bought it to test the waters for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. Most people don’t know about the stand alone expansion’s release, so offering it creates the same opportunity for a much wider audience.

I mean maybe not compelling to a lot of this audience, but I imagine many PlayStation owners will love to pick up ufc 4 for free.

This might be my most anticipated game right now. It sucks to have to wait a little longer, but as someone who waits for a patch or two to play most games, I’ll always welcome the extra polish.

I finally got around to playing returnal and just beat it the other day. I didn’t find it to be very difficult and I don’t think I’m particularly good at video games. I guess the looping nature of it turns people off.

Any word on dualsense features? I was hoping they would be implementing something when I saw the announcement. Seems like a perfect game for adaptive triggers.

It takes two, kena, and returnal. I’d round out my top 5 with hotwheels and oddworld soulstorm but y’all left those off.

Honestly I’ve never really played any asymmetric multiplayer games, but as a big db and anime fan I think this looks awesome! I think the idea is great and it’s not another area brawler. Hopefully they can pull it off because I’ve seen a lot of positive reception to this.

Just picked up Onimusha! After playing Kena and working my way through KoA, I’ve been loving the return to that old school feel. I’ve heard the samurai jack game is also similar, so I might have to pick that up while it’s on sale as well.

I’ve never got around to playing a borderlands game, but I think Tiny’s wonderland looks interesting. Is this dlc worth starting out with to get a bite sided introduction to the series?

Outrage about this is ridiculous. With the nightmare that is licensed music, I no don’t know how anyone truly expected otherwise.

As someone who only buys digital at this point, I like when collectors editions are done this way. Honestly, having to buy the disk has deterred me away from buying special editions in the pst.

@SM1FFY01 That’s not what all the ps news sites were saying at the time but you might know something I don’t. PS Blog even stated that the ps5 version was going to take advantage of dualsense features.

I’ve had a pretty fun time playing this. Just waiting for the ps5 version (that’s apparently coming soon) to really dive in to the campaign.

I thought the trailer looked decent. Although, they should have realized that the guy wearing the light up cat helmet was a little too Fortnite for people these days.

A little disappointing, I thought the game looked pretty interesting. I’m still gonna keep an eye on it post launch though.

Finally starting Returnal, and enjoying it so far. I’ll be playing Crash Drive 3 when taking breaks from that.

I thought the mha one’s justice games were pretty fun brawlers. I’m surprised one of them didn’t even make your top 15.
