I have no issues with them adding micro transactions. I bought the game on release and did everything I wanted to do and feel like I got my monies worth. The game is only £50, so even with the added micro transactions it's still cheaper than most games released today. It's just an extra option that people can choose to use if they wish.
Well it'll be a new Jak game to me, so I'm looking forward to playing it. Not expecting it to be as good as the trilogy, but I expect I'll have a good time.
It really does baffle me how much hate Ubisoft gets. I'll admit their games are never groundbreaking, but they're far from bad. I'd argue that most of them are really well made.
Oooh, really happy to see Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. I've finished the PS4 versions of the original trilogy, so it'll be nice to have a new game to play through, even if it wasn't developed by Naughty Dog.
Nice. I was planning to play through Grandia at some point, so I'll grab this, as the version available on PlayStation 5 already doesn't have trophies.
10/10. Loved every second of it. I can't bring myself to uninstall the game now that I'm done with it because I enjoy loading it up just to run around the world.
I'll be going between Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. I bought Banishers on a whim and I've been impressed with it so far. I really enjoy single-player games that I can immerse myself in and so far it's done a really good job. Highly recommend it.
I can't believe how good Rebirth is. It's blown my expectations out of the water. I'm still not done yet, but I was disappointed to see that they cut Rocket Town. It was one of the areas I wanted to see the most.
I wasn't expecting this to be so cheap. I thought it was going to be at least £24.99, so I was pleasantly surprised. I had some money in my wallet thanks to PlayStation Stars, so it barely cost me anything. I'm looking forward to playing it with my friend tomorrow night.
@Jayslow I think the mistake is switching between the two. It makes it seem more noticeable when you go from one to the other. I went from performance to graphics when I started the game at midnight and found it to feel pretty choppy, but I've been playing the game all day today in graphics mode and it's felt smooth.
@Flaming_Kaiser I love the original Final Fantasy VII, but I think if Square-Enix remade it and just improved the graphics and controls they would be setting themselves up for criticism.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for me and I'm reminded why I love the series. So many things that happen that make me think "Only in a Like a Dragon game.", like helping out a lobster with her love life.
I'm currently playing it with my brother and it's not bad. Would I have preferred a game that isn't a live service? Yeah, of course, but I don't regret buying it. Most of the hate it's getting is from people that haven't even played it.
Might have to pick this up to support Microsoft games coming to PlayStation. Doesn't hurt that Obsidian's games are usually really good. I'll definitely be getting Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves as well.
I find it so strange how much hate Ubisoft gets. Sure their games aren't amazing, but I can't think of a recent game they've released that I'd consider bad.
I still wonder how Sony go about choosing what PS1 games to bring to PS5. I'm sure someone is looking forward to this, but the PS1 has such a strong library of games and Sony seem to pick the least interesting ones.
I liked Bleach Brave Souls quite a bit, so I was hoping I'd like this as it's a similar type of game. The graphics are nice, but from what I played the environments are pretty bland and repetitive.
I played it for 10 minutes and decided I would wait for the full game. I did enjoy running around Nibelheim though.
I was wondering how locations in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth would look compared to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, seeing as Reunion's graphical update means that it resembles the remakes.
Going to carry on with Persona 3 Reload. Not quite as good as Persona 5 Royal, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'll also be playing a bit of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy.
I Love that it's selling so well. Its nearly 6:30 in the morning and I'm up playing it right now! I finished Granblue Fantasy: Relink a couple of days ago, I have Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth to play next and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth out at the end of the month. It's a great time to be an RPG fan!
I really want remasters of Mega Man Legends and Mega Man Legends 2. They still look good because of the art style. Just have to update the controls and I think they'd still be enjoyable now.

Re: RPG Maker WITH Lets You Craft Your Own RPG on PS5, PS4 Next Year
@Corc11
The funny thing is that he's put so much time into it and it's only a few hours long so far.
Someone liked his RPG enough to upload a playthrough.
Re: RPG Maker WITH Lets You Craft Your Own RPG on PS5, PS4 Next Year
I wonder if you can move any RPG's you've made in RPGmaker MV to this one. My brother has spent over 700 hours making his RPG.
Re: The Witcher's Anya Chalotra Is Haroona in Unknown 9: Awakening on PS5, PS4
I'm always on the lookout for more single-player, story driven games (I assume that's what this is), so I'll keep an eye on this.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I'll also be playing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
@savarunl I think the game looks really good, but performance mode is definitely too blurry, even for me and I'm used to playing my games at 1080p!
Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's Graphical Problems Are Clear in Digital Foundry Report
Game looks amazing to me, the occasional low res texture be damned.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
Loving it. Kinda feels surreal to be playing it. Really glad I booked 9 days off to play it, although at the rate I'm going, I'll only need 2!
Re: Rise of the Ronin Confirms Character Creator, Four Player Co-Op for Main Missions
So, does that mean that it's only the missions that can be done in co-op, not any of the open world stuff?

I've been wanting to get Tales of Symphonia, so I'm really happy to see it added.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 516
I'm currently at the back end of Persona 3 Reload. Hopefully I'll finish it today or tomorrow. If I do then it's onto Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

I can see why people are disappointed, but I'd be happy to play Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Persona 3 Reload?
9/10 for me. Never played the original, so it's a brand new game for me.

I really like this game, I just wish the missions were less combat focused and had more exploration.

Done with Granblue Fantasy: Relink for now, so moving to Persona 3 Reload.
