I remember getting the platinum for 4 back when it released. I remember how horribly buggy the settlement stuff was so getting the platinum was a pain, and once that shiny trophy popped, I haven't touched the game since.
I have it on my Steam library so I should install it and play it again for the hell of it.
A friend of mine got me into Grounded last fall and I dropped about 65 hours into it on Steam. Great game, especially with friends. We're both pretty excited for the new update.
I've played a small amount of the original System Shock a few years ago on PC. Always had my eye on the remake ever since Digital Foundry did a video on it.
The umbrella allowing her to glide is essentially the Pearl Drone from Side Order.
Her charge rifle is essentially any of the charge shots from Splatoon.
I swear Square turns on a Switch with Splatoon on and scratch their chins thinking of what to pull from that game next. I know people get sick of the Splatoon comparisons but come on lol.
I don't know about blaming any sort of generation but the general sentiment of some people not taking responsibility for a match being lost isn't 100% far off.
Tried the demo last night, really liked what I played. There's a few things that were a little rough i.e. fighting a big group of small enemies, the climbing is a little janky.
But the pros really outweigh the cons for me and It makes me even more hyped for the full game.
I've been playing through Ori and the Will of the Wisp after beating Blind Forest. The sequel improves on every single thing the first game did, I genuinely love it.
I wouldn't mind getting back into the game and trying all of the DLC, since I haven't touched the game since release, but the combined cost of the DLC would cost quite a bit.
Over the last year I've transitioned over to my PC being my main gaming machine, with the PS5 and Switch being there for first-party games, so my opinion may be a little biased.
I don't see a Pro being necessary at all at this point. Sure the console will sport a little more power then the base version and some AI tech, but like I said on the article with the poll, the PS5 hasn't even hit it's ceiling yet.
I don't really see the need for a mid-gen refresh for the PS5. I feel the console hasn't even reached it's full potential yet and we're already at a Pro version.
Well it was nice knowing Bend Studios. I plan on getting Days Gone on sale through Steam and playing it finally after how many years of never getting around to playing it.

I absolutely love Ori, Will of the Wisps is a masterpiece.

Re: Stellar Blade Gets New Game+ Mode in Day One Update on PS5
I always like it when New Game+ has a bunch of unlockable stuff. Gives the NG+ run more incentive.
Re: Rumour: Watch Dogs Is Dead, and Legion Reportedly Killed It
I didn't play a ton of the first game and haven't gotten around to 2, but it's kind of a shame to see the IP die off.
Re: Sand Land (PS5) - Open World Adaptation Is a Demonic Delight
I watched a streamer play the demo a while ago and the game has that Toriyama charm in the art style that's so good.

Re: Silent Hill 2 Remake Protagonist James Seemingly Got a Quiet Makeover
Genuinely looks way better and I feel it conveys how he should be reacting in the mirror compared to the original Remake look.
Re: It Looks Like Kena: Bridge of Spirits Is Heading to New Platforms
It was a fun game. Beautiful art direction and the pre-rendered cutscenes were on-par with Pixar in terms of quality.
Re: Braid: Aniversary Edition Briefly Delayed, But Will Boast 40 New Levels
Man, Braid released in 2008? That's insane.
Re: A New Rayman Game Is Coming This Year, But Not in the Way Everyone Wants
One of the biggest blunders by Ubisoft was not giving us more Rayman in the form of Legends and Origins.

Re: Whoa! Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Has Sold More Than 5 Million Copies
I really liked Crash 4. Game was a lot of fun and had a lot of heart. Absolute nightmare if you wanted to 100%, but still a good time.
Re: 2016's Ratchet & Clank Reboot Gets Fan-Favourite Gun in Free Update
So strange for this game to receive a new weapon for the anniversary, but can't complain with a free little update.
Re: Rockstar's GTA+ Membership Putting Its Price Up

The game industry being so shaky regarding employment right now makes me glad I don't work in it.
Re: Poll: How Much Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?
I can play games in either 30 or 60 fps. Sure, I prefer 60 over 30, but the biggest thing I want is a stable 60.
I've said this for years here on the site but when a game can't keep a stable framerate, it detracts from the experience of any game.
Re: System Shock Remake Will Launch at Its Very Best on PS5, PS4
I've played a small amount of the original System Shock a few years ago on PC. Always had my eye on the remake ever since Digital Foundry did a video on it.

Re: On Top of Character DLC and Microtransactions, Tekken 8 Is Now Getting a Premium Battle Pass

Re: Red Dead Redemption Is Now Included with Subscription Service GTA+
I didn't even know there was a GTA subscription thing.
Y'know, I shouldn't be surprised. Everything is a subscription service nowadays.
Re: Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 Support Simply Never Ends as Four-Part Expansion Is Announced
@ShogunRok That's a fair idea. I wouldn't mind getting the game again on Steam since i haven't played in over 7 years.
@DarkTron Thanks for the suggestions! It's kinda overwhelming looking at everything on the store page.
Re: Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 Support Simply Never Ends as Four-Part Expansion Is Announced

Re: 6v6 Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Officially Announced, But There's No Mention of PS5
I got a genuine chuckle out of how the video thumbnail looks just like the art book cover that Overwatch had in it's collector's edition.
Also the first thing I noticed in the video is that the UI looks exactly like Overwatch's. Crazy.

Re: South Park: Snow Day! (PS5) - 3D Co-Op Card Brawler Is a Step Back for the Franchise
What a massive shame seeing this be a few steps back from the previous South Park games. They had such a great formula going and they toss it away.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 521
A bunch of Splatoon 3 due to the Splatfest
And I may hop into WoW and keep leveling my shaman.
