The game is normally $6.99 on the Steam store, and is usually on sale for about $1. You can also get a few mods to upscale the textures and the pre-rendered cutscenes and you're golden.
If I'm being honest and critical, trophy support doesn't justify the poor quality and really high price point on PS5, when the game is dirt cheap on PC and you can run it on a potato without any mods.
Ever since Astro's Playroom, the IP has a chance to be a big mascot for the platform. I'm glad Astro is getting a full game release to really cement that.
The game definitely needs more polish but I'm legit excited for it. I'm such a sucker for samurai stuff, and this is enough for me to get back into Assassin's Creed.
I've been getting into more games that have that "souls-like" combat and feel as I've been getting older, where you have to time out your attacks and parries compared to just hack-n-slashing.
I'm sure it's the same crowd that said Sony releasing games on PC would be "the end of Sony as we know it".
I feel Lego games are perfect for Switch since they usually support drop-in co-op and are good "pickup and play for a bit" games, which work really well for the Switch.
I LOVE art like the first one. It always features so many details in one image that really lets your mind wander and I love it. Like getting a glimpse into the daily activities of a world.
This is a good solution for someone that has a good PC, the headset and a PS5. Good entry point into the PCVR, which is loads better then the console vr scene.
I still have my Index and it's still working just fine for me.
I really want this to be good and while it's nice that Bloober wants to stay faithful to the original, I just hope the game isn't a buggy, unpolished mess.
Outside of Astro Bot, it was pretty eh. Nothing wrong with Monster Hunter and it's cool that we have a release date on the Silent Hill 2 Remake, but it was mostly just a lukewarm stream.

I still haven't played Elden Ring yet but man, do I want to. I want to get it on Steam.
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Is on Nintendo Switch Because It's a Game 'For Everyone'
It is what it is. It's still a Lego game at the end of the day so it's not really surprising to see it come to the Switch.
Re: Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (PS5) - Combat-Heavy RPG Gets a Major Overhaul
I'm really glad I decided to wait when this released on Switch, mainly due to the fact that the game never dropped on price, ever lol.
But I will gladly get this on PC so I can finally experience it.

Re: Preview: Astro Bot on PS5 Could Be the Best 3D Platformer This Side of Nintendo
Ever since Astro's Playroom, the IP has a chance to be a big mascot for the platform. I'm glad Astro is getting a full game release to really cement that.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows' 'Smaller' Open World Map Is Still a Healthy Chunk of Japan
I felt like Origins had a really good map size that should work really well with Shadows. Really excited!
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Emerges with 13 Minutes of Stabby, Smashy Gameplay
The game definitely needs more polish but I'm legit excited for it. I'm such a sucker for samurai stuff, and this is enough for me to get back into Assassin's Creed.
Re: HoYoverse's Bid for World Domination Could Include Anime Crossing on PS5

Re: Reaction: You Said You Were Sick of PS5's Sad Dad Sims, So You Better Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is
I'll be getting Astro 100%, but I'm not super interested in Lego games but I may get the Lego Horizon game since I love Horizon so much.
Re: Xbox Really Wasn't Happy with PlayStation's Call of Duty Marketing Deal
The Big 3 have all done their own slimy, shady decisions, they're not all squeaky clean.

Man these titles are getting complicated.
But I tossed it on the ol' wishlist on Steam to keep an eye on it.
Re: PS5 Fans Beg Sony for a More Fulfilling Livestream in the Aftermath of Xbox Show
The Xbox showcase was much, much better then the recent Sony stream. I agree with the article, it legit felt like old-school E3.
But both the Xbox and Sony streams were loads better then the Summer Game Fest, I mean let's be real here lol.
Re: Need Another Soulslike? Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Attacks PS5 Next Month

I've been getting into more games that have that "souls-like" combat and feel as I've been getting older, where you have to time out your attacks and parries compared to just hack-n-slashing.
Re: Here's Your First Real Look at Assassin's Creed Shadows Gameplay

Re: Metal Gear Solid 3 PS5 Remake Given New Trailer, But No Release Date
The game has a lot of time to still cook, so I'm looking forward to it.
But it's also so good to hear Hayter voicing Snake again.
Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Finally Ventures to PS5 Later This Year, Trailer Gives First Look
The new art direction makes the game feel like it lost a lot of the gritty-ness the original and sequel had.
Re: DOOM: The Dark Ages Rips and Tears Day One on PS5
I was surprised to see the PS5 logo at the end, but I'm really excited for this! Looks really good.
Re: Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Will Add Over 20 DLC Characters Across Its Season Pass

Re: Some PlayStation Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over LEGO Horizon Being on Switch
I'm sure it's the same crowd that said Sony releasing games on PC would be "the end of Sony as we know it".

Re: Slitterhead Dated for 8th November on PS5, PS4 in First Gameplay Trailer

I LOVE art like the first one. It always features so many details in one image that really lets your mind wander and I love it. Like getting a glimpse into the daily activities of a world.
Re: Halo 1 Remaster Being Considered for PS5, New Report Claims
A better deal would be the MCC in whole, not each game separately at a high price.
Re: Yooka-Laylee Remaster Confirmed as Yooka-Replaylee, PS5 Version Likely
I played the original on PS4 back when it released, but I may get this on Steam for a replay.
Just hope Playtonic fixes a lot of the issues the game had. Graphics weren't one of them.

Really curious to see what they do. I still think Shawn Layden was one of the better CEO's the company had.
Re: Keighley Sticks a Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 4 at Summer Game Fest Speculation
@personauser93 I get that but Kingdom Hearts 3's showcase trailer was aired at Xbox's E3 back in 2018 so it's not far fetched.
Re: PSVR2's PC Adapter Available on 7th August, Costs $60
This is a good solution for someone that has a good PC, the headset and a PS5. Good entry point into the PCVR, which is loads better then the console vr scene.
I still have my Index and it's still working just fine for me.
Re: Naughty Dog Won't Be 'The Last of Us Studio Forever', Says Neil Druckmann
I wouldn't mind seeing them try their hands at a new IP
Re: Keighley Sticks a Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 4 at Summer Game Fest Speculation

Re: Astro Bot Is the 'Biggest' Game Team ASOBI Has Ever Made
It's honestly refreshing to see a platformer be a headliner on a Sony console nowadays. I'm super excited.
