@nessisonett Yes Final Fantasy 8 is one of my favorite it's my first Final Fantasy game i put 300 hours in that game. It's my favorite after the original FF7 on spot 2 and it's Final Fantasy 9 on 3.

@evasdf But is it a remake from MGS 3 that is made by Kojima as long as the man is credited then that is enough. But I'm certain Kojima won't have a issue so the Kojima fans should not either. And for me the man is a legend indeed. The first time I played MGS on the PS1 it became a part of my gaming experience and made the PS1 my favorite gens.

@jrt87 For me it depends on the game with turn-based games it's not something I really care about but I have to agree I rather have 60 then a higher resolution because the games look nice to me already.

@Digit2021 If I use to convert its €539 that is $889,13 australian dollars. But $0,61 is €1 but i understand if you get payed in Australian dollar it does not matter. but I don't even know what a normal salary is in Australia. I'm lucky not to live in the UK.

@MikeOrator Why not sell the extras without the case it's so wasteful. I can always laugh when digital collectors tell me a disc is a waste but the ton of extra plastic stuff not. And it's €40 on a free to pay game.

@Nakatomi_Uk For me it was the PS1 so many fantastic memories with RPG's. Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia 1/2, Parasite Eve, Koudelka, Breath of Fire 4, Final Fantasy 7/8/9, Legend of Kartia and yes im missing some classic RPG games that were never released in the Netherlands. 😢

@MrPeanutbutterz There were so little choices for the PS5 with games with a lower install base. When I got my PS3 I also had 3 choices for games and yes that made games sell a lot more because there was nothing else. How many sales did Rachet and Clank achieve eventually longer time discounts with your logic it should have sold 10 million plus?

@Mintie Yeah that was never going to happen it already has a 2 TB drive but i would say this should have been the maximum price with the drive and and stand included.

How much is a 2 TB NVME drive i think €138. I need a discdrive that is another €100. I sure this console will drop in price or they are going to include the disc drive in the future.

That's what you get when you have people saying get used not owning your games in public. Releasing mediocre games and being a one trick pony. Having a unsafe work environment soaked in abuse.

Jumping in every hype just to try what how much you will make out of it instead of looking what it will do for the company. Trying to make everything with reincurring revenue instead of looking if it fits the game.

@themightyant I think you are right some people are not good to lead people. If he acts like this for something like this that is clearly a positive nod towards the game. The same idiot that is David Jaffe he destroyed all good will and chances of ever working for Sony in the future.

@BrettAwesome If he acts like this then it's better he left. These kind of people are toxic he is not good as a leading figure. The same as the idiot from Twisted Metal just be a adult. The game took ages to develop, was expensive and was one of the worst releases to date. The sales came after the decrease in price so I would like to see if this small game will outperform with less development time, better polished and atleast Astrobots are likeable.

@Max_the_German I agree rather have a blast for 15 hours then a mediocre game for 50.

@DennisReynolds Rather pay and have a decent release. But liveservice with the freemium model that is a bloody mess is probably the way to go then.

Those kids are trained well in the illusion of paying less and taking more from addicted people. With a dash of FOMO, time wasting and having to log is the way to go then I guess.

I don't even know if the game was that bad it looked like a solid quality game polished without a mess. I think personally the hate towards the game somehow was insane no idea why.

But people run through the fire for a payed €70 expansion like MW3. The message will be clear towards Sony I guess just make a free game that is a mess people like that better. Or milk and franchise to death.

And I do believe that they will go down a path that will no longer include anything but the standard build of main characters.

I do believe they should have had more basic/standard characters in the game the game looked good and fun. I believe with some love and time the could have had a chance.

The amount of hatred towards the game was off the charts the anti it's not a model is also somewhat baffling. I have so many games that are worse in every way still being around.

@get2sammyb Big difference with the current liveservice. The freely installed Astrobot game already was a full game without the small extra content.

The current liveservice world is all about FOMO and time pressure and a in lot of the times a incomplete game to start with.

The first Guild Wars did it even better just release a big expansion to sink your teeth in you could almost call it a part 2.

Did boosting with the Tombraider rebooted game. After hitting level 100 on the died out multiplayer I stuck around to help people to finish his. After all the multiplayer trophies I got such a dislike towards the game I could just play it anymore. I don't mind multiplayer trophies but only If they have a active player base.

Looks really nice.

I still think the game does not look this bad. It looks better then a lot of releases I have seen over the years.

I thought it had way more sales. It's not bad but it quite a big franchise.

@playstation1995 We need the old PlayStation back more experimental smaller projects. When is the last time we saw something like a Dark Cloud not every game need a 100 million budget. Looks at these small indie games like vampire survivors they somehow seem to blow up.

Only release it physically if it has more then a launcher.

I have to say people are really getting sad by calling this woman ugly she looks great. Not every character needs to be a model. I guess we are stuck with the Tate generation. Probably the people who complain the most are the people who looks avarage if they are lucky.

@Thatguyoverthere In what world is that a ugly woman? You are probably the same that would say that about Tifa in FF7R. The game is not that special and buggy and launch I think developers should put more effort in releasing better optimization for their games you can only make one first impression.

@riceNpea If you see X as a good platform then you are lost already. AI creates nothing if you it a blank page it won't make anything. AI uses stolen art and does jot compensate any of the artist.

Even with the possibility that AI creates good stuff it's still owned by the rich and I never met a good rich person that is in it to make the world a better place.

AI will be used to make poor even more poor and have less options. If you even look at AI art it's all the same boring stuff because it has no idea of its own. It's good for basic boring tasks. Fake news, dangerous bad information it's just not there.
