Re: This Is Your Last Chance to Order PSVR's Free PS Camera Adaptor for PS5

I wish Sony would sell spares for the PSVR2. My car chewed the wire while I was playing a while ago, and although I have it all taped up again it still drops connection when my movements get too excited.

The connection wire can be removed and is separate, it's just got a proprietary connection to the headset that I can't find anywhere.

Finally beat last boss last night, now to enter Ng+ to get platinum!

Excellent game, might well be beating out Stellar Blade as my personal GOTY (sorry Eve).

Performance issues on base PS5, I saw very little of it, a couple of areas were slightly slow when looking but I always found the combat fine.

Re: Round Up: PS5 Pro Reviews Love New Tech and Its Glimpse of PS6 Potential

Well this quote from 'The Verge' has just about sealed it for me.
I'm 3m from my 55'' LG OLED.

'Find your favorite seat in front of the TV, then measure the distance between your head and the screen. Now measure your screen diagonally. Do you own a 65-inch or 55-inch TV, the most popular sizes? Do you sit 10 feet away or more? Then no, the PS5 Pro is probably not worth $700. Not even if you have 20/20 vision like me. The improved visual fidelity just isn’t tangible enough at that distance.'

Quick question re PS5 pro.
I quite fancy it but am not sure if it's going to be worth it as my TV is an LG OLED C4 55 inch.
Sadly it only has HDMI 2.0 so can't do VRR 120fps for example.
My sofa is 3 meters from the (55 inch) screen?

Will I see any differences or will it be really the same realistically as usual performance mode (for those games that don't chug)?

Re: Ubisoft Labour Woes Spread, Milan Office Strikes in Solidarity

@Balosi
yep, unfortunately commuting is all part of going to the office, it takes time, can be stressful and also you have to pay for it yourself. However that's all accepted as part of the social contract.

If Ubisoft promised in the contract that staff could WFH whenever they liked and then changed the rules to mandate 3 days a week then I would agree.
However I suspect there would be no contractual promise made and those who live long distance from the office were probably warned on hire to expect to be in the office at some point in the future.

Lastly, I highly doubt the majority of the workers live so far away from the office that they cannot get in, my longest commute was 2 hours each way which was painful and I would not like to do it again. I did it though and I didn't go on strike about it (although it was the main driver for me to look for work elsewhere after a couple of years).
