The Game Awards (and the Spike Awards before that) always were the most important time for new game announcements. Always the biggest ones, even bigger than stuff at E3.
Let's hope the 10th anniversary makes them even more important and we get something from Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch and Gendesign.

Please make the slim good looking in contrast to the god ugly original. A simple brick like the xbox would be great.

Thought this was an actual MS exclusive for once but yay. Played it for free on Gamepass, can buy it now on PS.

Completely unnecessary obviously since there isn't a single game now and in the next 2 years or so that utitilizes the full power of the current console anyway but will be the next step as predicted where nothing will get better/more beautiful but just have those pathetic dumb useless technical fps and resolution stats.

Instead of better quality we got the (almost) same quality with PS5 just with 4k textures (noone needs, makes nothing better looking just sharper), and with the Pro we still get exact same quality but with more frames then for the mainstream (who cries for texture resolution and framecount).
Instead of having, e.g. a more than enough 1080 resolution, more than enough 30 to 60 frames but have insane more quality.
Well, PS6 then maybe. Or no, wait, then all the power is wasted on 8k of course.

Anyway, will get it of course and sell my original PS5 so I always have the latest version and can sell it better whenever a new model comes out but yeah.

Can't wait for the first game that will actually move the current generation forward, maybe in 2 or 3 years

Like seriously, why does literally every From game have such a strange/bad sound where all characters sound like.. I don't know

And if you want a gritty and realistic Bond, it should be a Craig Bond game (or the upcoming one). Literally nothing about the classic Bonds is gritty

Hope it will have a much higher quality than usual IOI titles but am optimistic.
Still my dream project would be an agent thriller by Naughty Dog. But since that won't be a thing, this is the next best option.

Not one single game worth getting the PS5 for. Yet. As soon as those 1st party exclusives will actually hit, it will be a completely different world anyway.

Demo was awful. Thought the real time combat would bring me over but it was such a boring mess still. Sure, better than turn based but still... Buuut I finally ordered Tears of the Kingdom, can't wait for that!

I still can't fathom the idea of Microsoft's approach. But apparently it's working too.
But yeah, I play all MS exclusives for 3 bucks. Have one month, cancel. Then wait for a bunch new ones and get another month for 3 bucks (on ebay).

So, I will play Hellblade 2, Starfield, Forza, Fifa, Fable, and many other games for around 6 bucks instead of 350-600 Euros.

Glad this game is bad/boring because there are too many games anyway. Played the demo and was so relieved it's not yet another game to look forward to

@WallyWest I was just talking about the look. Most unique look for a female character in a while. Kal looks like literally any generic dude in games ever. Can't say anything about the depth yet obviously.
Might be one of the advantages of Ubisoft because she looks very European (and real)

I never would've thought I would say this, but after the abysmal showcases by Playstation and Geoffie, Microsoft has the best chances to deliver (anything).
Annapurna will win end of June anyway very likely though.

Sony was bad, this was worse

Only around 30 minutes left , and I fear there won't be anything anymore.. Which makes this show even worse than expected with my lowest expectations possible. Even worse than the Sony one.
Now onto the Xbox showcase on Sunday then.
And then last chance for Anapurna at the end of June.
And then having to wait until December again.
When will there finally be a good game show again...

Yomi is incredible obviously but played on Gamepass already of course. Good selection but as always Extra is the thing to wait for, not Essentials

Such details are what makes something great. And yeah, now it's dumb mainstream. Which is funny, because GTA is a mainstream product, but similar to RDR feels so much like an indie in many ways. Having to press a button repeatly feels so much better and immersive. But as always, fast food fun 😐
I need my horse, press button, spawn, fast travel because I don't want to immerse in the world, just finish my quest markers as soon as possible to get a trophy and move on, etc

PS, not that I care or mind for a 10 year old game, but yeah, glad it had those controls and hope in the next won't be just hold button too

Not as a general showcase
Then it was very good
Many new games, great design etc
But as a Sony/Playstation showcase it was abysmal
Because a PlayStation showcase is supposed to show the exclusive 1st party titles. For everything else you have general showcases
