Happy to hear this commitment to single player. Although, doing a GTA-like multiplayer add-on for Cyberpunk would be pretty awesome. I mean, they could just steal a lot of the concepts from GTA and I think they would have a much more interesting and cool world for you to own cars, apartment, do missions, etc. Not saying they could match the success of that behemoth, but I personally would like it more.
In some of the clips, the enemy AI seems poor with them not seeing you even in peripheral vision and probably making a lot of noise. Interested when playing it if that was a frequent issue. Looks great and the premise/no quest markers sounds good too, but worried about enemy intelligence and the fact that the start of the clip had three enemies that seemed to be all the same model.
I am really enjoying the game and see a lot of the benefits of the streamlined approach. I thought I was going to hate losing workers and some elements like that, but it is so much better. But, like everyone has said, trading is far more complicated and tedious for no reason. I see what they were trying to do, but it needs more work. They also need to improve showing what districts have defenses to take down. Diplomacy is much better, seems to have more brains than prior versions.
But, I am finding myself much more interested in the last two ages than when I would lose interest in Civ6. Combat is much better, but that also needs some intuitive UI improvements to make it easier. Having the Commanders nest the troops and manage promotional levels is so much more efficient.
I have really liked the game so far. At first, the changes were so significant that I had doubts, but the controls become easy as you play, game flow makes more sense and you start to really get into it. The combat and diplomacy are much better and my biggest gripe with all earlier Civs is that I love the beginning and middle, but the end gets boring, but in this, you really have a lot to do in all ages and the game can really change quickly. Haven't felt there are too few leaders yet, but happy more are coming as they definitely kept ones back like they have before.
Never played the first one and could not tell from the review, but is there magic and other non-swordplay/archery elements to the combat (like Skyrim or Witcher) and are there classes for your character (understand it is the same protagnist but not sure how much gameplay can influence it)? If like Skyrim, might help the itch while waiting forever for Skyrim. But, if just swordplay, could see that getting old over time. Sorry if I missed the mention of magic.
I would give it an 8 overall, 9 for the atmosphere, lore and world. They really did their homework and nailed it. The landscapes are great, but I love how lively their cities feel. Kind of a Star Wars Cyberpunk. Overheard a storm trooper conversation about Scarif battle from Rogue One. That was cool. Feel they nailed the Imperial bases too. Good exploring, really like the heist missions, can't wait for the big one at the end. And I actually think the characters are very good and fit in SW universe. Yes, would have loved the ability to steal/use multiple vehicles GTA-style, carry more weapons permanently, but gotten used to it. Not sure why there is so much outcry on the enemy AI (on other sites). They are stupid pretty much like any game. I also really like the reputation piece as it adds a layer of uniqueness in how you need to do certain missions. And the hoverbike is great...and even the space battles are not bad. Again, overall an 8, maybe a 9 by the end, and really enjoying it. And pretty cool they have the blaster mark from Han Solo in the cantina, in the correct spot.
Personally, I have really enjoyed the game so far. Definitely a few things that could have been done (likely they thought about them, but were likely given a date and had to cut back. Things like having more weapons in inventory, GTA-style using/stealing of other vehicles, etc. But overall, it is actually a lot of fun, the maps are really big and the secrets/activities in the world seem relatively organic and I actually think the acting is not bad. Searching the world is a lot more fun without all the markers and Ubisoft towers. Although the stealth is nothing ground breaking, it is not much different than other games and I love most of the heist missions. No one can argue they nailed the Star Wars environment either, especially the towns/cities. I only wish they had more time to build out a little more, but I have been impressed considering all the negative comments prior to buying it. I would recommend it as long as you are not expecting first-of-its-kind mechanics or concepts, but honestly not many games provide that anymore. I think it is a great game...so far.
They did Worlds Part I, so I thought the next update was going to be Part 2 (seems obvious), but then this one comes out of nowhere. Did I miss a road map or something that explains when Part 2 comes or what is next? Sorry if I missed it.
Maybe someone can answer this as the answers online seem to be conflicting. There was a comment made about on getting it through Ubisoft+ (mind you, that person is playing on XBox). But, is it true, that the Playstation version of Ubisoft+ through the PS Store only offers the classics but not the premium version of it like XBox and PC where they get Day 1s? Thanks for the help.
@LiamCroft Great preview. Thanks for doing it and happy to hear it seems the game is in better shape than last month. Can you speak to the fact if there are any unscripted events or moments that happen in the open world areas or does it appear everything seems scripted? I am not expecting DD level, but possibly a step up from Star Wars Survivor or at least on that level of patrols, etc? Also, could you tell if the Wanted level they speak of with the Empire engagements happens regardless if anyone sees what you do? That always seemed to be an immersion killer in games where no one is around to report it, but you are now wanted. Thanks.
Put a ton of hours into this game. Been focused on beating as many bosses as I can before the DLC launch. One thing that I wish they had (although I know it may break some of the discovery) is that the map has a marking where you beat a boss. If I look online at a boss location map, all I can cross-reference it to is potentially a Site of Grace, but that doesn't mean I have beaten the boss there. I took a bunch of time off after beating the game, so now just not remembering where I did beat one or not. Not sure if anyone has a better tactic.
Happy to hear I am not the only one with the armory reset. Sometimes I would only figure out after my pod landed and a female voice (voice resets to random) is calling for my support weapons. This resetting is definitely an annoying bug.
@Prime_Objective I am now at Level 32 and do Level 8 missions as my standard. On the bug side, it is nuts. Literally maybe 30 seconds of non-fighting in a whole 30 to 40 min campaign. It is awesome, but stressful. Level 8 and 9 with the Automatons is so ridiculous, no matter how seasoned it truly is near impossible. The issue is how many titans they spit out. Last night, on the bug side, there were 4 titans all in the same location at the same time. For Democracy!
I agree that not only is the game so much fun (even if missions have the same objective, nothing is ever the same with what can happen), but the community is good too. I have only had one bad experience in many plays where this loser kicked me from the game literally as I was about to get on the extraction ship, so no XP or anything after 35 mins. So annoying.
Beyond that though, been great, meeting people all over the world, loads of fun and it seems the devs are primed to add new sections to the ship and game to keep it interesting.
Love the game, questioned whether I would like a live service game like this, but that was gone as soon as I started. Even if some of the objectives are the same, the circumstances, the players, and environments can be so different, never feels old.
Did anyone try their new Defend mission concept? I love they are adding things already, but I tried it multiple times and we were demolished by the automatons every time. It was insane. And I am playing at Hard Level on the bug side. I know they are tougher than the bugs, but it has been annilhilation.
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but another under the radar sign of Microsoft's indecision and likely pivot is word that Microsoft has not committed to AMD on its chip order for the next gen system while Sony has. Supposedly this would lead to them being far behind Sony on the next gen device even if they commit now. As the ABK acquisition showed, they have a planned device, but not committing the order shows they may be waffling on the platform of the future and being in that game.
I could envision them doing a mobile Steam deck type device (as rumored), possibly a base box to allow Gamepass use for casual gamers like the Series S, and making a lot of money selling games into Playstation's and Nintendo's large base, nevermind mobile game apps. Seems like a very solid business plan when they know it is likely impossible to catch up now. Microsoft is a very smart business and they have done the math likely showing far more profit and revenue from being a publisher with Gamepass and a basic box than trying to compete as a true platform leader.
@MrGilly69 Definitely take the plunge with it. I had so many reservations as I had never played table top, never played a D&D game, never played turn-based, but love video game RPGs. And this game is my top 5 all-time. Like GeeEss said, takes a little time to learn, but once you do, you will not want to put it down. I didn't play any of the prior ones or similars, I don't think you need to. Biggest surprise that I loved it so much. Have fun with it.
Legitimate question, not trolling...Seems like people love the original game and hyped for this, which is great.
I did not play the first one and the early footage seems rough graphically, but feels like a mix between Elden Ring and Witcher 3. I could be totally off as the video does not dive into all its functions, but interested what people like most about it and what game it most resembles? Trying to understand before their showcase. Thanks.
Just about to finish Baldur's Gate. What an amazing game, one I was so conflicted about buying not knowing if I would like turn-based combat. Thanks to everyone on here who recommended it. One of my faves of all-time.
Moving to Cyberpunk to see the updates. Only played it for several hours before stopping for the update (loved what I did play). Happy I did and can enjoy it in its final form.
@NinjaWaddleDee Agree with Ninja. Definitely start at lowest level if new. I started with the middle difficulty and struggled especially when not knowing how to play. Believe me, it is still hard at that low level and you can always increase it. Also the game autosaves, but at the beginning, manually save more often.
Also, if you don't know D&D like me, do not be afraid to look online when leveling up on what is best to choose for skills/etc. You do not need to follow the comments as no decision is the wrong one, but it is good to understand them better by players who know how they affect game style. And as you level up, the game really becomes more fun with new spells, etc. I am at Level 6 now, but when I hit 3 and then 5, they were big jumps.
@Reptilio Stick with it. I fell through that same hole (assuming same one near the beginning of the game) and I was so mad at myself for buying the game. But, I kept playing (learned to save more) and once I arrived at that first town, it all just sort of clicked and I am loving every minute of it.
As I said in a prior location on the site, I never played D&D, never played turn-based, never played Larian's other games, but I read an article that their founder was inspired by Ultima VII, a very old PC RPG game that I loved when I was young. So, I took a chance and boy, I made the right decision, this game reminds me so much of that game. I still have lots to learn (and as you do, it is much more fun), but the writing, characters, environments, music/sound, etc are all master class. Maybe EA, who owns the Ultima IP, can open their eyes to see this success and can do something like this style.
Anyway, anyone on the fence, it is worth it and this is coming from someone who only does action RPGs, nothing like this. Just give it a little time to learn (I agree...tutorials almost seem to be intentionally limited or non-existent to make you learn on your own). It will get your hooks in you like it did me. Like everyone else said, just wish I had more time in life. I am into Act 2 but scared of how much there will be once you get to Baldur's Gate itself because right now, it is impossible to do everything and talk to every single character. I mean, the darn animals all have cut-scene dialogue if you want to talk to them. It is nuts. haha
I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 since Early Access opened. There have been only a handful of games I have played that I thought about it even when not playing it and this one already has done it. Never played D&D, never played turn-based beyond Civilization or any of Larian's past games, so it was a big risk to buy it and it has paid off already. They did a great job on the controls for console (one of my concerns) and I am amazed how nice it is to slow down with turn-based and be more strategic even while tension stays high.
Just amazing what Larian did and the story, writing, and voice acting are so much better than the recent games I have played. Anyone on the fence like I was, it is worth the plunge and will not take long to get comfortable with it and love it.
So, my weekend will be taken over by this game. Hope everyone else is enjoying their gaming.
@zupertramp Thanks for confirming this. Understand people would love for it to be used without Wifi, but for me, the places I would actually use this would have Wifi (hotels, planes, trains, basically any public place). The big miss is that it will not work in the car (unless someone has a Tesla and it could go off its Wifi cloud), but for me, this would work in the places I need it.
Because a few of the comments in here seem to conflict, I wanted to ask to confirm. Do you really need to be on the same WiFi network of the PS5 to use it? Understand the use case of people using the TV in the same house, but for me, if I can use this on a hotel's WiFi while traveling to connect to my PS5 at home, then this will be a likely buy for me. If it must be on the same Wifi as the PS5, it will be a pass. Sorry for the clarification ask, but was confused on different comments.
And we know redemptions are possible. Hello Games has done it and agree that if CDPR nails this update and DLC, then I will forgive, just not forget. I am looking forward to this update as they clearly did not rush it.
But honestly, their issues have made us all and the industry smarter on what the dev says pre-launch and what we expect to be delivered. I feel their mistake is something that has made them better, but likely made SOME other dev executives better and not to make the same mistakes of pushing something not ready to hit a date and/or number.
I personally do not know why anyone is worked up over microtransactions as long as they are not 1) required to finish the game or see the whole game narrative and 2) they don't give a player an advantage (if multiplayer). If just cosmetic and someone wants to buy it, that is their choice and have no issue with the developer getting paid. I likely wouldn't do it as I agree with @Chaotic_Goat that they are usually way over the top anyway, but I don't blame the developer from offering. New content via maps, DLC, etc are also fair game.
I have never played a turn-based game before outside of mobile nor have I played D&D formally, but this game keeps attracting my interest. For those that have played, do you think this is too overwhelming with D&D gameplay knowledge and choices for a newbie? I like RPGs in general, but have only mainly done western-style ones. I have also worried the turn-based will be boring over time, but others seem to indicate that is not their experience. Thanks.
Good write-up Liam. And yes, shopping malls for the most part are dead in the US. If it is not a lifestyle mall and more of the old fashion type mall or shopping center, it will either be closed or no one will be there. Destination centers and Amazon have killed the shopping centers, strip malls still exist though.
I have seen other sites mention that this is the big update before the DLC, but I thought they planned to do a 1.7 update that would fix the police, etc in the base game and then the DLC would come out right after taking advantage of all those changes. I guess I am trying to figure out if the base game will get all the rumored/confirmed fixes regardless of the DLC because this update is clearly not all we have heard about.
Interested in everyone's opinion. I have never played a Diablo game before. Understand the camera angle is totally different (reminds me of that old arcade game Gauntlet), but do you think this game is approachable and one I would enjoy if I like games like Elden Ring, Demon Souls, etc. Again, understand very different, but just trying to figure if a newbie would be able to jump in and find as much fun as everyone is reporting. Thanks for the opinions.
@MasterEMFG What a great pick. One of the greatest of all-time, so way ahead of its time in so many ways. So many categories of game development were ushered in by that game. As a young kid, I could not get enough of that one. With all the remakes nowadays, that is one that should be done. Of course, I think it is owned by EA, so that may not be a good idea. haha
Thanks for the review. I tried this on PSVR2 and I was a little confused as it did not give any instruction on how to use some of the controls. I used a previous save, so I think I need to start over. I hated the movement with the teleportation, so I am very happy to hear that can be switched to normal. I guess I will just need to get used to the controls. But, one cool thing...using the jetpack for the first time is pretty awesome. Truly feel you lifted off.
@AFCC That is interesting to hear. Maybe it is like @thefourfoldroot1 said and it varies between games. I have found the aiming and shooting in RE Village to be great and impressive. Such a gamechanger from using a controller. But again, maybe it is different by game.
For those in the US who ordered from Sony, were you required to sign for it? It does not say anything on the UPS details to say it is required, but not sure. I believe the PS5 was. I may not be home when it arrives and worried I will be chasing it between trucks if I miss it.
@get2sammyb One more question...not sure if you tested this or not, but what is the quality of the video output on the TV when you have on the headset? Is it the same or scaled down? I am just wondering if those watching will get the same level of visuals (resolution, brightness, etc) for Horizon and other games as the person in the headset, assuming someone has a 4k TV? Thanks.
@get2sammyb I notice that the pictures/screenshots from the game are pretty muted, but all the ones Sony and others pushed out previously seemed much more vibrant and pin-sharp. Is this a case of just difficulty of really capturing the quality of the picture inside the headset or are these pictures indicative of what you saw in it? Understand there will be a little screen door, but these screenshots seem to have much more washed out visuals than what I have seen. Thanks.
@get2sammyb Question for Sammy or anyone for that matter. How do you handle multiple users in the same house? If one person has it on and does the initial calibration, does the next person need to do the whole setup again including play area, etc? Or can user settings be saved/attached to their PSN acct? I could see a bunch of people wanting to try it once at my home, but would be cumbersome if every person needed to do a setup instead of just handing the headset to the next person. Understand the headset will need to be adjusted for each head size, but was not sure on the visual setup or anything for each person. Thanks.
@trev666 Thanks for this info. Very helpful and definitely sounds like a solid plan. Saw some of the comments on ME 1 being a little more aged and janky, so I did not want that to turn me off. But, your suggestion is what I will try.
I have never played ME before, but had thought about trying it a few times, so this is good news. But, I don't think I have the time to devote to three games...from what I am reading on this thread, would you recommend going to ME 2 as it is more updated and I can catch up on the story? Or do I jump right to ME 3? I guess the bigger question is, how long will each game take, roughly? Thanks.
I never played this on computer/PC. Is this similar to Age of Empires where you build out your kingdom, build walls, defend against attacks, etc or is it more an economy simulator? I really loved Age of Empires with castle building-like concept, but being a PS/Mac house now, kind of shut out from all their new remasters. Anyone remember Castles back in the day? That was another good one, albeit older tech.
Not sure if others saw it when ordering the PSVR2, but I was surprised to see Disc PS5 God of War bundles readily available on Sony Direct. I have not been looking on there as late but knowing the PS5 and that bundle still shows sold out most everywhere else, was surprised to see it. I know stock has improved, so maybe it was just by chance.
They seemed to have opened up the window early in most areas. It opened at least 20 minutes early in EST in the states. I was able to get a bundle version. Very simple and easy and less stress than when I was able to get my PS5 through Sony Direct.
Excited to try this out as I never tried the Quest or PSVR 1. Good luck to everyone who is looking to snag one.
On the controller charger, do people feel that is worth it? I know it is a different setup than the last time, but I am trying to think if you would need to charge one by one off the USB port or if they would have a more traditional outlet plug in. Seems like a possible mess in choosing on what to charge, switching what you are charging, etc unless I am just not understanding the controller charge process. I did not have the PSVR 1 so not even sure how that one worked either.
@get2sammyb Did not know how to send to you guys and did not see a news story on it here at PushSquare yet, but I received my pre-order invitation e-mail today for the PSVR 2. I can pre-order starting at 11am EST tomorrow (15th). I cannot post a picture of it in the chat, but wanted to see if you wanted to put a notice out in case people miss it in their junk folders, etc. Pre-order period in the States is from 11am EST on the 15th to the 11:59pm on the 18th. At least for the e-mail I received.
I ordered a custom cabinet a few years back from Dream Arcade. It was pricey, but it had 500 games in it and you can also download any game for any platform that has entered public domain. Covers almost all the older platforms except the newer ones. Atari, NES, Neo-Geo, SNES, Arcade, etc.
I thought of getting one of these for awhile, but I decided to splurge to be sure I had a lot of old games. Nothing cooler than to see someone find an old game on there they played when they were young. I highly recommend getting a cabinet. Just something different than playing on them vs on the TV.
I apologize if this is a really basic or dumb question, but never used the PSVR. When using it, will the screen and audio you see/hear in the headset also appear on the TV screen for others to see/hear you playing? Looking online, there was only a few posts/articles on this, so I wanted to confirm. Seems like it does, but wondered if there were any restrictions to it and if the TV viewer sees everything (including prompts, etc) the player sees.
They did deliver Dying Light 1 which was in decent shape at launch and was a great game. They also did support the game for a long time and delivered what I considered a very impressive DLC in the Following. Expanded the world a great deal. So, although I will wait and see after some of the recent messes with great reputation developers, Techland has shown a track record of supporting the DL 1 game and delivering great experiences. Just hope we have not all been tainted forever when devs are excited and passionate about their projects because of the recent ones who lied and/or misinformed.

Re: Game of the Year: Robert's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2023
@MrGilly69 Definitely take the plunge with it.
Re: Rumour: Dragon's Dogma 2 March 2024 Release Date Leaked
Legitimate question, not trolling...Seems like people love the original game and hyped for this, which is great.
I did not play the first one and the early footage seems rough graphically, but feels like a mix between Elden Ring and Witcher 3. I could be totally off as the video does not dive into all its functions, but interested what people like most about it and what game it most resembles? Trying to understand before their showcase. Thanks.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 495
Enjoy the weekend of playing everyone.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Is Now PS5's Highest Rated Game Ever
Amazing game, congrats Larian.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 (PS5) - One of the Greatest RPGs of Our Time
@Reptilio Stick with it.
It is nuts. haha
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 492
Re: PlayStation Portal Is Sony's PS5 Remote Play Handheld, Priced at $200 / £200
@zupertramp Thanks for confirming this.
Re: PlayStation Portal Is Sony's PS5 Remote Play Handheld, Priced at $200 / £200
Because a few of the comments in here seem to conflict, I wanted to ask to confirm.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Huge Update Will be Detailed in a Gameplay Livestream Next Week
Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage Returns to Series Roots, But Won't Ditch Cosmetic Microtransactions
Re: Round Up: Baldur's Gate 3 Reviews Suggest It's One of the Best RPGs Ever Made
I have never played a turn-based game before outside of mobile nor have I played D&D formally, but this game keeps attracting my interest. For those that have played, do you think this is too overwhelming with D&D gameplay knowledge and choices for a newbie? I like RPGs in general, but have only mainly done western-style ones. I have also worried the turn-based will be boring over time, but others seem to indicate that is not their experience. Thanks.
Re: Feature: Summer Game Fest - What's It Like to Attend?
Good write-up Liam. And yes, shopping malls for the most part are dead in the US. If it is not a lifestyle mall and more of the old fashion type mall or shopping center, it will either be closed or no one will be there. Destination centers and Amazon have killed the shopping centers, strip malls still exist though.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.63 Out Now on PS5, Get All the Patch Notes Here
I have seen other sites mention that this is the big update before the DLC, but I thought they planned to do a 1.7 update that would fix the police, etc in the base game and then the DLC would come out right after taking advantage of all those changes. I guess I am trying to figure out if the base game will get all the rumored/confirmed fixes regardless of the DLC because this update is clearly not all we have heard about.
Re: Yes, Diablo 4 Is Blizzard's Fastest Selling Game of All Time
Interested in everyone's opinion.
Re: Work on the Next Main Witcher Game Is Ramping Up as Cyberpunk Expansion Nears Release
@Angelus3K That update will come out just before the DLC (Phantom Liberty) comes out. The police AI is in that patch.
Re: Site News: Vote for the Best Game of All Time with the Push Square Community
@MasterEMFG What a great pick. One of the greatest of all-time, so way ahead of its time in so many ways. So many categories of game development were ushered in by that game. As a young kid, I could not get enough of that one. With all the remakes nowadays, that is one that should be done. Of course, I think it is owned by EA, so that may not be a good idea. haha
Re: Mini Review: No Man's Sky (PSVR2) - Explore an Infinite Universe on a Whole New Scale
Re: Firewall Ultra Is One of the First PSVR2 Games Made with Unreal Engine 5
@AFCC That is interesting to hear. Maybe it is like @thefourfoldroot1 said and it varies between games. I have found the aiming and shooting in RE Village to be great and impressive. Such a gamechanger from using a controller. But again, maybe it is different by game.
Re: Out Today: PSVR2 Brings Next-Gen VR to the Masses
For those in the US who ordered from Sony, were you required to sign for it? It does not say anything on the UPS details to say it is required, but not sure. I believe the PS5 was. I may not be home when it arrives and worried I will be chasing it between trucks if I miss it.
Re: PSVR2 Review: Is It Worth It?
@get2sammyb One more question...not sure if you tested this or not, but what is the quality of the video output on the TV when you have on the headset? Is it the same or scaled down? I am just wondering if those watching will get the same level of visuals (resolution, brightness, etc) for Horizon and other games as the person in the headset, assuming someone has a 4k TV? Thanks.
Re: PSVR2 Review: Is It Worth It?
Charged and shipped for me last night. Set for delivery on the 22nd. Exciting times.
Re: Horizon Call of the Mountain (PSVR2) - Pretty Platformer Reaches New Heights
Thanks.
Re: PSVR2 Review: Is It Worth It?
@get2sammyb Question for Sammy or anyone for that matter. How do you handle multiple users in the same house? If one person has it on and does the initial calibration, does the next person need to do the whole setup again including play area, etc? Or can user settings be saved/attached to their PSN acct? I could see a bunch of people wanting to try it once at my home, but would be cumbersome if every person needed to do a setup instead of just handing the headset to the next person. Understand the headset will need to be adjusted for each head size, but was not sure on the visual setup or anything for each person. Thanks.
Re: Rumour: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for December 2022 Leaked Early
@trev666 Thanks for this info. Very helpful and definitely sounds like a solid plan. Saw some of the comments on ME 1 being a little more aged and janky, so I did not want that to turn me off. But, your suggestion is what I will try.
Re: Rumour: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for December 2022 Leaked Early
I have never played ME before, but had thought about trying it a few times, so this is good news. But, I don't think I have the time to devote to three games...from what I am reading on this thread, would you recommend going to ME 2 as it is more updated and I can catch up on the story? Or do I jump right to ME 3? I guess the bigger question is, how long will each game take, roughly? Thanks.
Re: Iconic PC Strategy Series The Settlers to Make PlayStation Debut Next Year
I never played this on computer/PC.
Re: Reminder: PSVR2 Pre-Orders Begin on 15th November
Not sure if others saw it when ordering the PSVR2, but I was surprised to see Disc PS5 God of War bundles readily available on Sony Direct. I have not been looking on there as late but knowing the PS5 and that bundle still shows sold out most everywhere else, was surprised to see it. I know stock has improved, so maybe it was just by chance.
Re: Reminder: PSVR2 Pre-Orders Begin on 15th November
They seemed to have opened up the window early in most areas. It opened at least 20 minutes early in EST in the states. I was able to get a bundle version. Very simple and easy and less stress than when I was able to get my PS5 through Sony Direct.
Excited to try this out as I never tried the Quest or PSVR 1. Good luck to everyone who is looking to snag one.
Re: Reminder: PSVR2 Pre-Orders Begin on 15th November
On the controller charger, do people feel that is worth it? I know it is a different setup than the last time, but I am trying to think if you would need to charge one by one off the USB port or if they would have a more traditional outlet plug in. Seems like a possible mess in choosing on what to charge, switching what you are charging, etc unless I am just not understanding the controller charge process. I did not have the PSVR 1 so not even sure how that one worked either.
Re: PSVR2: All Confirmed Games
@get2sammyb Did not know how to send to you guys and did not see a news story on it here at PushSquare yet, but I received my pre-order invitation e-mail today for the PSVR 2. I can pre-order starting at 11am EST tomorrow (15th). I cannot post a picture of it in the chat, but wanted to see if you wanted to put a notice out in case people miss it in their junk folders, etc. Pre-order period in the States is from 11am EST on the 15th to the 11:59pm on the 18th. At least for the e-mail I received.
Re: It May Be Time for You to Buy an Arcade Cabinet
I ordered a custom cabinet a few years back from Dream Arcade. It was pricey, but it had 500 games in it and you can also download any game for any platform that has entered public domain. Covers almost all the older platforms except the newer ones. Atari, NES, Neo-Geo, SNES, Arcade, etc.
I thought of getting one of these for awhile, but I decided to splurge to be sure I had a lot of old games. Nothing cooler than to see someone find an old game on there they played when they were young. I highly recommend getting a cabinet. Just something different than playing on them vs on the TV.
Re: Sony Unveils PSVR2 User Experience, Including See-Through View, Customisable Play Area
@thefourfoldroot1 Thanks for confirming. Certainly a cool experience and plenty of laughter to be had.
Re: Sony Unveils PSVR2 User Experience, Including See-Through View, Customisable Play Area
Re: Dying Light 2 Dev Promises a Whopping 5 Years of Updates and DLC After Release
