@ShogunRok I am definitely big into the story,world,character building part of final fantasy and I am decent at action games so I reckon I will buy this Day 1 and start playing over the weekend after work.

I wasn't that much of a fan of FFXV's combat system although I did enjoy FF13's combat.

I anticipate it to be the highest selling game of the year if it matches the numbers the first game did in 2018.

Only worth it if its cheaper getting the 2 years through the bundle.

Then any new Playstation user getting this is a no brainer.

The success of GTA Online leads me to believe there will be less emphasis on Story Mode and more on it instead.

This is why Sony has multiple studios. As long as you can get 1-2 Major AAA releases a year on the PS5 then they should be fine.

I'd rather take games with smaller maps but more stuff to do like the Yakuza games which release new games every other year.

This generation is only really taking off now with FF16 being PS5 Exclusive and Spider-Man 2.

Haven't felt the need to upgrade from PS4 and this delays the need even longer. Played all the latest Sony exclusives on my PS4 (GOW Ragnarok) Played Hogwarts Legacy & now can play Ratchet on PC.

I am happy with my PS Plus Premium subscription as I missed the vast majority of PS3 games so the streaming option has been great.

Each tier's worth will depend on your situation. If PS5 is your first console, Premium is a no brainer to catch up on all the games, if you have all the games you want already, Essential makes sense etc

Despite flopping critically & commercially, it is nice to see them supporting the game for the people who did get it.

E3 died years ago.

Far easier and cheaper to have your own conference at your own venue with people in attendance and others tuning in online.

It was fun whilst it lasted. The FF7Remake announcement is my last lasting memory from it.

Zero interest in the game but good for those that bought the game.

Not controversial at all. Developers of linear games can design levels/gameplay around the linearity and know the kind of emotion/shock/disgust a player will experience at a certain moment. Open world games can have players never engage with the story or never travel and miss out on most of the game

I suspected it would do well when I saw the great review scores but 12 million in 2 weeks is beyond expectations!

I bought it and I am absolutely loving it. A sequel is guaranteed at this point and it is well deserved. 20-30 mill sold before the end of the year

Been on a Yakuza binge since it hit Ps Plus catalogue and after I finish Yakuza 7, will play this and move on to Judgment
