Do not watch this trailer!! I saw a character I wasn't expecting to see on a twitter post, thinking someone spoiled it for me. Nope, Sony just decided to put it in their launch trailer 🤡
Always thought it would make sense for PSN to be available on PC after Sony's clear attempt to branch out of console. Maybe that's what we'll eventually see
So far I think this has been very divisive. For those of us that wanted something classic, it feels too bare (not in terms of length but in terms of depth) and not enough was taken advantage of in terms of new mechanics they could add. But most of all the story isn't quite up to what many AC fans have come to expect.
For fans of the RPG series, they absolutely love it! I've seen nothing but praise from newcomers so I'm sure the next and final RPG game set in Japan will do nicely as it'll be fresh and familiar.
Undeniably it's a good game but there's just a lack of depth in there for me
Not surprising at all. Everyone and their mum have been informed since Fifa 21 came out that they are dropping the Fifa name. Again, as many mentioned at the time, a really good move from EA as it's Fifa that profit more from being in the title of the game than EA. For many many reasons
I knew it was a lot harder than it looks, sometimes I'm baffled as to how many people time it so badly when others are perfect. I'll have to give your episode a watch
@itsfoz is your success mainly based on the timing on when you drop your coin so it lands flat rather than standing up which makes it more likely to ride? And if so, do they give you tips on when to drop your coin in?
@MasterPlayerOne yeah! I remember it always looked great but lacked content. I played it a few times and was used to the GT levels of game modes so I didn't like it much.
Plus it was one of the first (iirc) singleplayer racing games which made the appeal so damn low for me as at that time PS4 was still new and many of my friends still had a 360 or PS3 so I couldn't play it with the friends I wanted to
@Mikey856 a glorified mix of minigames really. It's fun for the first 5 times. Only fun with friends IMO. Also only fun when you are an imposter
You are basically on a map as a crew doing your jobs (minigames) and one or two ppl are imposters and you have to get to the end sabotaging and killing your crew and acting innocent while everyone votes off who they think are the imposters
Meanwhile his internal email will read something like, "Ha! They are now weak" blah blah blah, "time to strike", something about Xbox being superior, blah blah blah, "Let's buy PS while we can"
@QuietintheCorner @Powerplay94 I don't get easily scared but those first person house, hospital parts got to me and that was within the first 5 hours. Returnal either scared me or wowed me throughout and I think that's why it resonates with me so much. I feel some emotion every minute of gameplay through atmosphere alone. I always have to give that game its props
@tehKAMI no problem! Also I'd recommend skipping any anime filler, especially the tsukiyomi dreams. It's not worth your time let me be honest 😂
Watch the end of Shippuden (canon episodes), then start boruto anime. With Boruto I'd only recommend watching the anime canon (not actual canon but good enough) and the manga canon episodes (they're so good).
Something tells me the games will never separate Boruto from Naruto, too many fans that only like Naruto. But the manga has pretty much said "okay this second part is a Boruto story" and everyone is loving it so far. Boruto is such a different character to Naruto and I like that they're not scared to separate and focus on the new gen.
@blecch ?????? What on earth are you talking about
Kevin was played by an actor on PS adverts. He was not CEO and it didn't stop the PS3 from performing poorly for most of its lifecycle due to an arrogant approach from Sony that the PS3 would do well automatically off the success of the PS2
Everyone should set up their Google account to search for compromised passwords. I haven't had any passwords associated with Sony breached but it's worth doing amidst all this
Watching chronically online ppl comment on the leadership of a billion dollar company as if they know better is funny. He did an amazing job in the midst of an ever changing landscape, a COVID pandemic, chip shortages, industry consolidation, subscription wars, increased production times and costs and many many other factors that many didn't and won't have to deal with.
He may not be the best CEO to have lived with his tunnel visioning on GAAS, lack of big moments that y'all use to characterise people, horrendous communication and a lesser focus on those smaller games with charm, but he did well.
My only wish from the next CEO is that we see more focus on smaller, less costly games. Not everything needs to be 40-80 hours please.
And remember, Mr Ryan is human. The hate this man gets from just showing face is almost as bad as Maguire gets. We need to treat each other better, constructive criticism should be practiced more
@RestMode12 I think they're too big, when playing HZD I just felt like I was playing a ubisoft game where, yes there's a story and side stuff but it's all too big and overwhelming
@lightningbolt79 people have been saying this since the PS5 was announced, then the next thing comes and they say "I have no hype for PS beyond X game"
All doom and gloom until the next thing pops up. Everyone has the shortest attention span, the smallest backlog and the neediest needs.
But yes they do need to show us some gamesssss, I would like a nice variety of single and multi-player games
@tehKAMI Boruto has not a lot of content. Monthly releases have made it that way. The story is basically at where Naruto part 1 ended, so not very far along. I'd recommend it though because since Kishimoto took over, it has ben sensational, hit after hit with each chapter.
The second part, Two Blue Vortex has just come in, it's at its second chapter and it has been amazing so far. Its a shame because its been running for what 5 years and very little consistency was reached until the Kara arc (3 years in).
The anime also being mostly filler has led to Boruto having a terrible reputation, but its manga is actually really good. Plus the Naruto name is just going to sell, too many Naruto fans
@Godot25 right, so ignore everything that was written and praised about the game because your opinion is correct. Got it.
Some friendly AI behaviours were annoying but the enemy AI, the way they looked for you, the way your buddies helped in combat, the actual realism and endurance the combat added, scarcity of ammo, melee, puzzles, exploration were highly praised. I remember because it's what drove me to get a copy. And the internet exists so you can easily look it up to corroborate your opinion. We can all sit there and do revisionism like you are but I don't consider that to be productive.
@Godot25 The gameplay and AI at the time were heavily praised which is why the game as a whole was so impactful. Obviously a whole 10 years later and copied by many games, the gameplay is average at best now
@IslandLogic what makes TLOU special?? It kinda shaped a whole genre of games. The story and gameplay resonated with so many people it was claimed as GAME OF ITS GENERATION. I really don't have to say more. I don't see it as that but you cannot deny the impact it had and still has
@REALAIS yeah you are right. When I say strange I was overlooking the predatory intentions for sure. Just sad how EA have gradually ruined and stripped content from every franchise they have got their hands on. Yes, Sims was always DLC heavy but at least the base games were actually fun. Sims 1 was barren but 2 and 3 were by far some of the best gaming experiences to be had. And they all had more features than Sims 4 ships with.
Sad thing is Sims 5 will probably be successful because its 'free'.
@Marquez I'm going to have to follow you on that. You've picked a real uphill battle there haha, poor Everton. 25 years into my Paris FC journey, European supremacy here we go!

Horrendous ranking. Liberations is really good. Seems as though they just put all the smaller ones at the bottom. Unity so low as well, wow

@naruball amen to that! A willingness to wow an audience, that's what makes good games and generates big money. Not the need to appease shareholders.
