Re: Savvy PS5, PS4 Users Stocking Up on PS Now Subs to Convert into PS Plus Premium

@Scob Microsoft never closed that loophole. You can, to this day, get 3 years of Gold and then convert it 1:1 to GPU by purchasing one month of GPU. Essentially paying the price for Gold and get GPU (a little more since you need to buy one month of GPU for the regular price, if you already used the $1 trial).

I guess most people won’t bother/know about it for Microsoft to actually care.

Re: PS Now Members Get Four More PS4 Games This Month

Not too shabby. Bummer it’s only the PS4 versions.

It’s a good selection but I’ve already played most of them. I scrolled through the full PS Now catalogue and quickly realized I’ve already played everything that I actually wanted to play. Fingers crossed the new service will be good.

Okay, I might start up Werewolf at some point if I really have nothing else to play.

@Fuzzymonkeyfunk I think you can still pull off that ***** (sort of, you have to buy one month of GPU for the regular price).

Let your GPU expire, stack up on Gold, buy one month of GPU and have all your years of Gold converted to GPU. Because Microsoft is apparently made out of money they don’t even bother closing that loophole. It’ll probably work until they decide to get rid of Gold altogether.

Additionally, if you feel extra cheap and sneaky you can purchase Turkish Gold (and GPU) and active with VPN.

PS5: Finishing up the last tidbits of Ghostwire: Tokyo. Somewhat disappointed with the game, unfortunately. I’d give it a 6.5/10 at best.

XBSX: Trying out Weird West, great first impressions. I’m also starting up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the first time (god, I’m incredibly late on this masterpiece).

Re: PlayStation Boss Promises More Acquisitions Are Planned

Hardly surprising, is it. All large corporations grow fastest by acquisitions. They need all need the expertise and IPs to stay relevant. Sony had to up their game with acquisitions after Microsoft started going all-in.

From a business perspective it’s fully understandable. It’ll probably hurt the industry as a whole but it’s inevitable now, it’s not going to stop.

I’m just about done with the game and in the end I agree with the negatives pointed out here.

I love my open-world games but Ghostwire’s biggest weakness is literally the open-world setting. It adds nothing but unimaginative filler content, unfortunately.

It’s a shame, really. The game do have some interesting and well-thought-out game mechanics. The ray tracing is also on point.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Tiny Tina's Wonderlands?

Nah. It’ll have to wait. I used to be a Borderlands fan until halfway through Borderlands 3, where I started to lose interest. I can’t help but feel worried that some reviewers say it’s just “more Borderlands 3” essentially.
