@twitchtvpat Kids that say "cash grab"? sorry to disappoint you buddy but I'm 46. I've been gaming long enough to know a cash grab when I see one and this is a cash grab. This generation has just been embarrassing with the amount of Remasters and Remakes and honestly I've reached burn out from all of it. People ask themselves what's happened to game creativity? it's becoming more and more stagnated because of this that's what.

I know 10 isn't much on this occasion nevertheless my point stands. What's coming next? it makes me worry about the future of gaming tbh.

@colonelkilgore Yeah well ignore them. I just don't think a Remaster is needed here. Apart from that I really like the Horizon games.

@colonelkilgore It gets hate not because it's a bad game but because this is a Remaster that simply isn't needed. It's baffling to me how people are defending a blatant cash grab here but whatever.

It's worth it if you haven't played it before but if you're someone like me who has it feels like they're giving us the middle finger.

Bummer. Was hoping this game would be better but tbh after I heard about it I had a feeling it was going to be a disappointment. I'm still waiting for a Transformers game to be as good if not better than Devastation and those 2 games on PS3, War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.

Edit: actually the PS2 Transformers game was superb so there's that one too.

I used to play The Revenge of Shinobi on the Sega Mega Drive so often when I was a kid so naturally I would watch a movie adaptation in a heartbeat.

@HotGoomba Facebook Moderators don't seem to give a damn either. In fact they're the most useless bunch of human beings I've ever come across. The times I've reported inappropriate content and they do nothing at all is insane.

I don't let my kids near sites like this one anyway. I myself sometimes get weird messages from these people as they likely think I'm a lot younger rather than an adult. I won't say what I would like to do to them here but I believe you get the general idea.

The amount of characters in this game is nuts and I thought Super Smash Bros Ultimate had a big roster. Regardless thanks for the guide 👍

I definitely did not expect this. Normally I would side with Nintendo but not this time in fact I hope this Lawsuit backfires and hits them hard. What they're doing here is just scummy, it just makes me despise them as a Company even more and I hate saying this because I do like their games.

Being able to file a Patent for something needs to be abolished IMHO.

I never really could get into these games back in the day like I did Resident Evil, I played them once and that was it. After reading this however my enthusiasm for these games has been rekindled.

It's for a specific audience which obviously isn't very big. People are likely burnt out on this sort of game as well.

I bought it for Shadow's campaign anyway and I expected it to be as long so I'm ok with this.

I will not be playing this. If they turn this into Live Service I'll continue doing what I've done with all Live Service games, not playing any of them at all. A Single Player game with Multiplayer however would definitely have my attention but Live Service? kindly go away please.

Off topic......sort of but I just want to say that when it rains here in Ireland it pours. The headline just reminded me of Irish weather.

I had planned to buy this game but not at full Price. It's just too expensive for what you get. A shame because admittedly the Star Wars kid in me really likes the look of it.

Yeah didn't like the character roster with Kombat Pack 2. I'm sick of seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger in these games now and Ghostface just seems really out of place too.

I'll wait for a Sale I think.

@Andy22385 Shrugs God knows. I got a PC built this year anyway so I'm not really in a rush to get the Pro now. I waited a while with the PS4 Pro I'll do the same here as well.

I loved the first Dragon Age game but after that my interest started to dwindle. Inquisition was ok but that's all it was. This being said I think I'm willing to give this one a chance.

@babybilly Yeah but what I mean is because patenting laws work differently over there to here that's probably why it's available outside of Japan. I mean Idk I'm not an expert I'm just going by what I've heard. Forgive me for not being clearer.

@MrPeanutbutterz Whether the monsters are similar or not is not relevant to this case. I wish people would stop bringing that up tbh. Coromon Nexomon and other games like those have very similar designs too as well as gameplay but people conveniently leave that out. This is a Patent infringement Lawsuit not Copyright.

I have this game on PC and it already looks really nice. It looks really nice on PS4 too. If ever there was a pointless Remaster then this is it.

@IamJT Mm-hmm best thing to do is to just let them debate about it in a Court of Law. No point speculating either as we simply don't know enough about the case

Given Nintendo's track record with Lawsuits though as much as I hate to admit it I think they'll win too. If changes have to be made to the game then I'm perfectly ok with this.

I'm no expert but it's probably something to do with the way Patenting laws differ over there to here.

@Judal27 If you like Ark I think you'll like Palworld. It's pretty grindy though so just something to keep in mind if you're thinking of buying it.

@RagnarLothbrok I think at worst you have 2 possible scenarios: 1) the game will get delisted but you'll still be able to play it and download it like delisted games on Steam or 2) the developers will be forced to make changes to the game.

This is just my own personal guess but really it could go either way and ofc I don't know enough about what exactly Nintendo are suing them for. It's supposedly the capture mechanic but really that's just speculation at this time.

As a PC gamer myself I was only saying to my friend on Steam yesterday "I bet you anything God of War Ragnarock will get Review bombed" and here we are.

Not excited about this at all. It's just going to be the usual dose of boring cinematics instead of gameplay. I hope they surprise us somehow but I'm not holding my breath.

So it could possibly be a Hybrid like the Nintendo Switch? I like the sound of this if true. I know Steam Deck was designed as a handheld but you can buy a Dock for it which is similar to the Switch Dock so really the Steam Deck is a Hybrid too.

I watched a YouTube video of this game and while the World the game is set in looks really nice the combat looked too basic for my liking then you have the rather bizarre camera too.

This being said I'll probably buy this later on down the road when I don't have much to play.

I watched a comparison video on YouTube where it put the original alongside the Remaster and granted there were some differences but certainly not enough to pay almost full Price for it.

For now I'll stick with the original game as I always enjoyed it even if I did find the time limit annoying.
