Sequel

Getting some good steam reviews, multiple people talking about how good it feels to play and the movement. Not sure if ps5 or steam deck yet?

Well I wish he'd said that two days ago. Really wasn't happy with the ps+ price increase.. and finally caved two days ago and bought this. $120 all in all. Felt like I'd gone against my principles a bit. Even worse, have barely been able to play the thing, and when I have matchmaking is broken. Not ideal really, especially with that big price increase. Going to see if they'll refund me everything.

So many really good games coming out, only so much time. I've got a decade long backlog now the way I'm going. Think we're seeing a correction.

Have to hook up my frame rate counter for this. If it drops below 29.. no bueno, pre-order canceled + I'll go a wave of negativity on social media.

These are the kind of MP games I wanted to see Sony put out again. Sci fi shooters with an edge. Not a fan of these teeny bopper fortnite looking things. Can we maybe get a new Killzone?

All I wish for is an online only package, like Nintendo do. No games or any extras, just the online service for a cheaper price. Really want to play helldivers 2.. but a sub + game would be $120, just can't justify it for someone who doesn't play that much. Will probably end up buying for pc.

@Dislecksier I'm just messing around, someone was saying it looked like a GameCube game so I was taking it a step further. I thought it looked alright

Wish I had ps+ as I'd love to play this but can't justify dropping over $100 to play this right now. Looks really good

I thought this looked like an early ps1 game, or an Atari Jaguar game. Hope they can save it

Didn't even know about this. Amazon games? Does this mean you need a subscription to play it? Prefer this design to the reboots, hope she gets the cool cat attitude back.

Noticing people say demo was visually underwhelming, which is a shame because I thought pt 1 looked stunning in performance mode. I thought ff16 looked quite blurry also which put me off. Ps5 pro is sounding quite appealing..

So: bought this (steam deck) and the visuals are amazing. I'd love to see a whole indie movement really lock in this style.

I only played the first one but I loved it. Nit sure whether to leave it as a memory?

I knew someone would blame it being SP. It just looked corney, dated, and unimaginative.

As a PC gamer I'm partially there but wouldn't mind playing on my TV. Hope the lack of console competition on the console front doesn't make Sony too cocky

Okami?! Ask me! A new Okami in the spirit of the original is my dream game. I'd buy a console for it.

I like the idea of metroidvania with roguelike elements as opposed to full on roguelike

I'm still itching for one new (non marvel) announcement from Sony 1st parry, but couple of things look great here particularly stellar blade + Ronin looks good.

I'm really hoping for an announcement of a full fat ASTRO game. Team Asobi mentioned a couple years back they were working on their biggest game yet.. but haven't heard anymore. Also with the feeling they need to win the hard-core crowd back a bit.. a bloodborne remaster.. leading to an eventual sequel? Wishful thinking.

Loved the Killzone games wish they'd make a new one... expecting a Killzone movie announcement any day now.

Can't deny, I was stunned when this was announced as single player. Glad it worked out. Another business benefit of SP is a long tail, this can sell for a decade long after live service servers would have been pulled. Potential too for a future remaster.

Really disappointed to be honest. I'd hoped Frasier and Niles were going to be the two main protagonists.

All good. Hopeful for a comeback year for Sony in 2024 in terms of single player games and announcements 🤞
