It's the only Mario beater I've seen. Playing rescue mission was like playing Mario 64 for the first time. Ps5 Playroom was better than some mario games despite its length. This is the kind of game that can get a whole new generation invested. Hope Sony gives it the push it deserves.. but moreso hope people buy it. What's releasing around then? Hope it's not up against heavyweights..

I feel like the whole 'soulslike' moniker puts off as many people as it excites. Stops people trying something they might well like. Can't blame them for clearing the air (despite being a souls fiend)

If Astro sells well it could influence sonys output.. with more JOY. But maybe don't want the joy? We'll see. I think this is a 70 dollar game if I've ever seen one, was actually one of the few games I'd have no issue paying 70 for.

Asia keeping the action/soulsborne scene alive and kicking. I supported Korean devs Lies of P & Stellar blade day 1, unless anything goes wrong here I'll support these Chinese devs with Wukong & this day 1. Then Japan of course with elden ring dlc. West has lost interest in making these games but they're my favorite.

I had zero expectations so seeing phantom blade & wukong pre order was pukka for me. Not much outside of that Capcom game grabbing me

When they finished the Arkham games i was so excited to see what they'd do next. Was disappointed when I heard it was suicide squad even before knowing it was live service. I'd hoped they'd earned the pedigree to take on something they wanted to take on, really develop and push forward what carved out with Batman.. maybe a new IP of their design? WB had other plans and it's probably the worst waste of talent and momentum I've seen in gaming history. Real shame.

Hope is a Playstation exclusive 🙏

Should count themselves lucky they don't need a PS+. Us mugs on console are lumped with the best part of $100 a year to play online.

@SoulChimera Astro Bot rescue mission is probably the most joyful game I've ever played. It's an absolute masterpiece I'm my opinion. Nonetheless I'm happier the new game is a full flat ps5 release as I want the studio to see real success and sadly I don't think that happens making VR games. If anything it could lead to the dead end of closure. I've come to accept ABRM is what it is, a timeless experimental and near perfect gem that will stand alone and may never sew continuation.

Has to be Astro. The only game I've wanted more than Bloodborne 2. Hope it does really well so we see it become a staple. Dynasty warriors reboot looked good too, as did monster hunter. The VR game with the giants caught my eye as well.

Edit: I'm putting my neck out there and predicting Concord will be popular also despite negativity. Bungie make exceptional gameplay don't underestimate them.

I'm incredibly biased because I got what I wanted.. a full Astro game. But I thought it was OK, MH & DW were neat, but I think people are craving a big Sony blowout with more 1st party reveals or hints. Problem wasn't the show itself, but the years long quiet on what big releases are coming.

Haven't been this excited for a 1st party Sony game in years. Day 1 Astro club here. Let the hype begin...

Well 100% see: Astro Universe, TLOU 3, new sci fi naughty dog game, garbage pail kids hero shooter by naughty dog also, bloodborne 2 & 3, demon souls 2, Knack open world Metroidvania.

450 not bad for psvr to be honest. Not much 1st party stuff but still a ton to play

I've never actually played Gears of War would like to give them a go. Does this mean we'll see that Indiana Jones game? I certainly wouldn't complain.

Don't know what it is about cards but they really gives me pause with a video game. Even Neon White which i loved.. I almost didn't buy because of the cards.

Astro Bot universe, Bloodborne 2 & 3, Demon Souls pt2, Naughy Dog Sci-fi game, TLOU pt 3, Parappa the Rapper 3, An open world Columbo game, Ghosts of Tsushima 2, PSVR 3, A new Media Molecule platforming IP, jumping Flash reboot.. at the very least. Imagine we'll see much more than this little list!

Really went into FoamStars pumped, hoping for even a shred of the Splatoon magic.. but it just didn't click. Felt clunky and just didn't pull me in. Its a shame, i don't like seeing SE get in trouble here, hope they can turn things around.

Always willing to give AC creed another chance despite struggling with the formula. Even if I bounce off them I usually enjoy the time I spend with them.

I do wish there was an upgrade path for this edition, but then the original has been so dirt cheap probably not worth it. I'll likely buy on a sale as the puzzles here are first class and I like Jonathan Blow, the indie scene owes a lot to pioneers like him.
