this will be the first remake that will be worth it for me.

So it became a norm a game is launched not ready. This is why i stopped buying games day 1 a year ago. A buy them whe ready ... and cheaper as a bonus. Astrobot not included 🤣

@Rich33 Yes, this is probably right, but the gamers that buy the product do not need to get in those details. They see couple performing great and the others thay are bad use excuses which are ... a joke. A low effort and bad choices are actually worse. Means that they did not care much.
My hopes remain at the new games that are developed since i could not care less of old games with new visuals. Lets hope that they have in mind the new tech when they build those. However, we know the reality and things will not change much.

P.S. this really actually hurts them since it is proven without any doubt (except Astrobot) that you should never buy day one. Buy later when the patches fix the game and 99% chance is that you will get it cheaper. So, you buy cheap and get better experience than the expensive day one purchases. I would be embaressed.

@Rich33 Exactly. So if they can do that on the pro hardware what is the excuse for all others.

@Mattlong78 Well, but if you need the PS6 to be great then you need to issue PSSR now and clear the issues. Better have those current problems on PS5 pro and clean those , rather to have a new generation with issues. You need to see that perspective too. So, in terms of Sony's plans, PS5 pro is needed to make PS6 great.

And this prooves the point that it is not the hardware the problem. Never was. It is the devs. Now we see how capable those are...

@J2theEzzo Yes, you can say that. True. And games should be smooth on PS5 as many have proved it can be done and PS5 Pro to be with some RT or some fancy things for just people who want it.
But in general, YES, you are correct.

@Neither_scene In general is true but why we do not have smae problems all arround. We get games that are so beautiful like hogwards, cyberpunk, F1 etc. and then some game "oh, we cant do it with that hardware". Well, it seems it can be done.

@Th3solution Maybe they here mean only the purchases from the PS store. This way they will know since they have your history.

All will depend on devs how much they will optimize and make use of it. The hardware on its own will not be enough. So on this I am skeptical.
One question guys, if anyone would know, I have the base ps5 and TV sony 49 X950H, hdmi 2.0. I think that same games are smoother when I check on youtube. I try to see if the TV is the problem and if HDMI 2.0 is the problem. But i think the 2.1 is only for 120hz. Or I am wrong?

@Jtheripper ahhh, you got me worried mate . Yes, it is not smooth unfortunately. In crowded areas is 50 fps or maybe hits 48... also it is clear that it is 1080p. Even upscaling is not good. Youd better wait for full fix and enjoy then. Also on lower price

What worries me is that good graphics among the generations ps4 ps4 ps5 - it always stays at 30 fps. For more than a decade we are stuck on this....a decade.

One of the problems here is that physical actually is digital. Most of games nees always online or they have only the registration id and then download. Which means of servers are killed you again remain empty handed.
I have no problem with digital, i have problem with buying smth which after that you dont actually own.
And as for Sony, yes they are stupid, very, they beacame so big because they are stupid. They released the protal (so stupid) and now the pro( even more)...and then the salea data hits you. Same as digital.

It is great that in the article Banishers was used. It is an awesome game and much more fun and interesting then some alleged AAA games. But dont we, as the players, have a fault also? Did we buy it after so many good reviews. I did but moat did not. I see a lot of post and comments how bad ps year is and bad outlook for lack of games. Really ?!?!? I honestly cant keep up with very cool games and only this october i have 5 comming out. Honestly, many intersting games just people are spoiled and just want to se AAA. I played banishers and it was an awesome game. Really awesome and the first game I played that made me want more side quests - so different and so interesting. A true hidden gem. Maybe marketing was very low...

The price is not the problem. The problem is the state the games are released in. Which also makes the price even higher since you pay for borken things. If they are not, then you know what it is and you paid it. Noone forced you. But buying smth to realize it is broken is *****.

Well, the mistake here of Push Square is that they think UK is the world and if smth is in UK then it is all arround. Nope.
In Bulgaria for example Disk drives quickly vanished and now they are soled for double the price by all retailers. All are on same price - 120 EUR.

Not sure if you played it but Banishers: ghosts of new eden, was the game that for the first time the side quests were as interesting as the main plot. Indeed it was the whole game of moral choices but they can learn from it.

I am honestly scared of this. Imagine if those are indeed 2 diffrent for same games, we will have another reason why the full ps power is not used due to some other lower version needed to run the game. As if the previous generations are not pulling back enough ...
