@rjejr I'm so used to having homes or rented rooms and side activities in Rockstar, Bethesda games that when an open world doesn't have it, it doesn't feel immersive enough.

@NoHope You haven't even played the game but you just don't like the guy...🙄

@rjejr I want to take the breaks and pass time myself not some automated version. Maybe some day I'll do another playthrough and see if it clicks with me better.

@Elodin How to get to them is also another struggle. That reminds me how annoying navigation is, with the wind thing. My install got corrupted and haven't even bothered reinstalling, not even done with Iki Island. It's a nice game but these things kinda ruins it. I could easily call Bloodborne open world because you can easily retire to the Hunter's Dream, repair, upgrade weapons and relax. I mean you can easily relax anywhere by using the Sit Down gesture.

When an open world doesn't have a place to rest and pass time and I'm supposed to believe my player is taking down outpost after outpost without resting or sleeping, it's a turnoff for me, kills immersion. You could skip all that in a linear game but not open world.

Gonna be more of the "I've never played GTAV" feeling cool and accomplished comments. Interesting how I spent, well still spending hours upon hours on R* games and now it's looking like I'm spending those hours on FromSoftware games, who would've thought!

Some people won't bother buying when they've heard rumors of a PS5 Pro.

Can't believe I have more screenshots on this game than RDR2. It's none other than '22 GOTY...ELDEN RIIIIIIIINNGG! Looking forward to Shadow of the Erdtree. Some may not realize but some YouTuber even said it, that for FromSoftware's first ever open world and to have nailed a steed like Torrent is remarkable. Ubisoft still can't get their horses right. GoT's horse is slow with a weird gallop. I feel like FS has filled that Bethesda void, y'know games you can't stop playing. Yeah and still need to make progress on BB's Old Hunters.

Nothing they can do. Quality & Speed, one would have to suffer, unless they wanna work overtime and get accused for crunch.

Metaphor:Refantazio made me return to Persona 5. Last weekend I returned to Fallout 4 with all that Fallout talk but after seeing Preston Garvey, I'm like Awww No, not again!

I'm in awe over everything about this game! Keeping tabs on it. Never really saw P5's UI as extra stylish but this right here is the real deal, everything looks stunning!

Atlus have been horrible with their money grabbing tactics but gotta admit this looks incredible! This likely straight up Art Direction winner - 2024 Game Awards. P3 Reload is a remake, this looks like what's next after P5. Considering preordering.

Fast travel fans are gonna love this. How about we skip the entire gameplay to the end and call it day.

Jumped on the bandwagon and reinstalled Fallout 4 - already platinumed, only a few trophies lurking in Far Harbor and Nuka World. Dunno why I didn't really get into Fallout 3 back in the day, maybe the colors were a bit annoying. I'll probably roam a bit in the wasteland and just return to my default MHW Iceborne, HFW, ER, BB or AC Valhalla.

Yeah I almost installed it again with all the talk. What a game. In 2015, it was Bloodborne for the combat, Witcher 3 for the story and Fallout 4 for the wacky fun.

Back to Horizon Forbidden West and Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Will be continuing Elden Ring and AC Valhalla also. A bit of Bloodborne probably, haven't gotten nowhere in the Old Hunters.

@Luigia Imagine Rise of the Ronin purely developed for PS5...oh yes they did, nothing really special.

Now it's looking like they're doing it cause everybody's doing it.

I think MC plays a huge part than we realize, Elden Ring wasn't highly anticipated by mainstream but the rave reviews got every stranger preordering on a whim.

@thefourfoldroot1 Naah games like FIFA are rather mostly bought physically so they can sell it and buy the next each year.

@TrickyDicky99 Game design includes frame rate. How do you separate them. And if you're talking graphics, I bet HFW & GOWR still look better than these like @KilloWertz said, and run at a stable frame rate, it's all in the design.

Back on RDR2...tsk... forever amazing, it's just sad, Rockstar has no competition. And usual will be playing ER and BB also. Yeah and continue some story arc in AC Valhalla, plus some Divinity OS2.

Hmm to maintain their constant 97s or top RDR2 would take a lot of development time.

@Number09 Got that white horse on my 2nd playthrough. Some of the basic horses we overlook are actually beautiful, like the Dappled Bay. Had a Dapple Grey which I named Grey Boi and that wine Thoroughbred I named Fine Wine haha. Nothing's ever touching Red Dead Redemption 2, it's in its own class.

Still hearing dialogues at camp I never heard before even on my 4th playthrough, what a game.

Best MGS hands down but would it give off the same epic feeling we had first time playing it... For example that epic fight with the ghillie guy in the forest is similar to the awesome TLOU2 unknown sniper mission with all the realism you can get. It might feel old in these times.

@B0udoir Lol at "Bloodborne is indie." The level of detail on attire, equipment, items and menu plus overall theme or art style is 10x better than Spiderman or GoT.

No excuses for this. Bloodborne is a PS Exclusive, and yes it would've beaten most of them hands down.

Just can't stop with Elden Ring and Bloodborne. Will try to continue Divinity OS2 and AC Valhalla also. I might restart legendary RDR2.

Talk about stealing hearts, the irony, Atlus now looking like one of those bosses in P5 who saw people as ATM Machines.

@windxtravelerx Well I mean that's the lesson I learnt in the early 2000s and went back to console, most people learn it too, it's why consoles keep selling.

Oh no oh no...You release DLC the same year as the game released at £30...so you really just wanted to sell the game for £90 to start with. Tsk Christ...Atlus!

@somnambulance Not really a shock P3's being outsold. Everybody knows Atlus' game now. ReReleases upon ReReleases with no upgrade fee options, people are waiting for complete editions.

At this point they're not even shy fleecing the fans anymore. Devs these days see these live service games raking in the dough and they feel SP players still owe them more. I mean just go make a live service game then and stop this shameful facade towards sp players.
