Re: Helldivers 2 Director Defends Elden Ring Difficulty: 'Always Cater to a Select Audience'

I mean it's their identity, why would they change that. I'm always offline so haven't got the calibrations, wonder if it's even that big of a difference, there's been a ton of these calibrations for ER since 2022. Souls games aren't a problem, Sekiro - now that is a real problem. Met Sword Saint and gave up and got my save deleted to make matters worse. But I've accepted Sekiro for what it is, you'd realize the Souls formula is even fair in comparison.

@NieR_Dark The problem with Blackgaol Knight is, there are no summons. So in actual fact Elden Ring would've been a crazy hard game if there wasn't summons. You'd think BB is hard but you can beat most main bosses without summons, ER on the other hand , is almost impossible without summons.

@__jamiie Mmkay give it a chance, not as hard as you think, just have the patience to level up and enjoy the unique artistry.

I agree with your comment above though, people should just leave games as is and move on. Imagine a Mona Lisa or some other painting being remade/remastered, no matter what it is it'll never be the original. Enough of the remakes.

@__jamiie More like you own it through Plus, wouldn't be sitting on it if you went out your way to buy it. BB is still a classic, masterpiece as is, people wanting a remake because they love it not because of issues, I personally I'm fine with it. It's held in high regard because there's nothing like it when it comes to the theme, the trick weapons, attire, bosses making loud screeching noises, it's just a unique experience.

@Porco I think they're just confident in what they've created and probably following the Elden Ring and RDR2 footsteps. These games showed a lot prior to release and still ended up wowing us. People thought they'd seen it all in the ER beta and then showing enemies like the Rune Bear in artworks etc but they still had a million things for our surprise.

Re: Elden Ring's Massive Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Doesn't Have Any Trophies on PS5, PS4

TheArt

Got a feeling how From loves the Sense of Discovery, they lowkey hate trophies and only add them because it's mandatory on the main game why? Probably because trophies give some information by pressing box on hidden trophies. I mean you look at gold trophies and you kinda have an idea who's the final boss, and this is a dev that loves to hide stuff. Still, this is rather disappointing.

Back to Sekiroooo Isshin voice after meeting Sword Saint and all my game saves getting deleted. It was easy to start other games but Sekiro...naahh. To think I defeated all those bosses and have to start again...sigh, Sekiro feels like the hardest From game but it's a From game and still a joy to play through again. Elsewhere defeated Lady Maria in the Old Hunters, BB. Defeated Mohg for the 2nd time waiting by Miquella's cocoon for you know what.
