Back on Cyberpunk2077, this time on PS5, it's a whole new game. So many people in the streets, cars etc. I've been taking the skytrain or whatever, so immersive seeing others riding on them. People of night city are one of the best in gaming history with their sense of style, so unique. Plus one of the best looking games ever - Metro Exodus on a whole new enhanced level, I miss the whole crew and the Colonel 😆.

After quite a break, properly back on Metaphor Refantazio to finish off the last palace, spent bout the whole week tryna defeat an impossible sidequest Devourer of Flames Dragon in a tower, the difficulty reminded me of Evrae back in the day in FFX. Still having fun in the dungeons of the timeless Bloodborne. Roaming around the Shadow of the Erdtree after defeating the Consort to see if something's changed. Plus will keep exploring realms in GoW Ragnarök. And of course I'll just chill in the legendary RDRII to see if I can solve some mysteries on my own - no internet help.

Made time to finally beat that Consort in Shadow of the Erdtree. What an epic battle with great sound to match, my bro who hasn't played games in a while was amazed by the Consort's incredible moveset. Elden Ring will be spoken of for years to come. Next, I'll focus on beating Metaphor, meanwhile just want to hangout in BB's The Old Hunters for a while.

@8bit4Life Yo yo yo yo!!! Get back in there and overcome difficulty. Don't use that "not for me" line soldier! You'll thank us later when you feel that sense of accomplishment with little by little progress 🤣. Seriously though, the difficulty is what makes the Souls interesting, keep trying and fyi you're not supposed to defeat every enemy you meet, you'd have to come back later when you're stronger.

Re: Game of the Year: #2 - Metaphor: ReFantazio

It's been quite up and down for me with this one. It gets super interesting when people like Louis or Del/Basilio appear and then it gets quite dull in those side quest dungeons - though they're at least better than Mementos - or when it's too.much repetitive dialogue. Gotta say though that Louis is up there with the best villains, plus the typical Atlus suspense plot twists makes it worthwhile. Art direction is nice and archetypes look way cooler than Personas.

@mariomaster96 maybe it's missing the comical banter from the likes of Ryuji and Morgana. Metaphor characters are just so serious all the time.

Finally got GoW Ragnarok, simply one of the best games ever made! They added one thing I felt ridiculously missing from the 1st one - people. And it's looking like the world's bigger, fack yeah! I tried the DiabloIV trial, looks like a great game ruined by the servers determining performance, my character is moonwalking all over the place, unplayable. I won't bother buying. Plus nearing the end of Metaphor Refantazio. Want to keep building bonds with followers, don't wanna rush it.

Back again to one of the best franchises ever - Horizon Forbidden West. Just as games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne missed awards for releasing in tough years, Sekiro and Elden Ring got all the awards in their stead. One day Horizon or Guerilla will get its awards due. Btw made it to Isshin for the 2nd time in Sekiro, hmph...what a guy.

People were ridiculous thinking Erdtree will win GOTY. I was thinking it would win some other categories but I see the backlash was so much they were scared to give it anything. Nice to see Metaphor winning some though.
