Re: Preview: Final Fantasy 16 Still Seems Like a PS5 Must Have, But a Couple of Niggles Need to Be Addressed

TheLotteryMan1

Even the large open area we explored, though beautiful, felt a bit empty. There were monsters to battle, chests to find, and at least one quest lurking on the map, but other than its bright scenery, it was lacklustre. Parts reminded me of Final Fantasy 15, where sometimes you’d be faced with endless spaces where nothing was going on..Another preview reviewer said..Oh no..

Re: Lords of the Fallen Offers a Promising Dark Souls Fix This October

TheLotteryMan1

Played and beat the first one even though it got 6's and 7's across the board I still enjoyed it . This one looks like its better on all fronts, for a reboot..As long as the Maiden is at my side..I'll Fear No Evil.

Also according to IGN..Tomasz Gop broke the news on Facebook, saying "We can confirm that conceptual work of the Lords of the Fallen 2 underway."

Re: Microsoft Goes Scorched Earth Over UK's Activision Buyout Block

TheLotteryMan1

"People are shocked, people are disappointed, and people's confidence in technology in the UK has been severely shaken." LOL what an insane overreaction from Microsoft, they're so desperate it hurts. I'm shocked that they think we care about this deal going through. trust me, 99% of the UK don't even know that this deal exists. pipe down Microsoft PR shill number 246.

Re: Microsoft Dealt Major Blow as UK Blocks Activision Buyout

TheLotteryMan1

Even if Cloud gaming never reaches that stature, there is enough of a concern there that
1) Microsoft owning Azure (one of the Big 3 in Cloud Services .
2) Game Pass (not one of, but absolutely the biggest subscription service)
3) Activision Blizzard studios and their IP/games in tandem with Xbox Games Studios
was something that the CMA, as a competitive markets ruling body, had to consider.
I guess they felt that having all 3 of those was a big issue for them and that the Microsoft proposed remedies wasn't enough.

Re: Hidetaka Miyazaki Says Elden Ring's Success Won't Determine What Comes Next

TheLotteryMan1

@Shinnok789 That be up to Sony..Well, Bloodborne was published by Sony, and the PlayStation maker owns the property. The game was also a collaboration between FromSoftware and Sony Japan Studio, so it's highly likely that Miyazaki is saying it's up to Sony to green-light Bloodborne 2.That Miyasaki said in an interview it not his call.."Bloodborne 2… Unfortunately, I'm not the one to decide," says Miyazaki, when asked about a potential follow-up to the PlayStation 4 exclusive.

Re: Microsoft Admits Xbox Game Pass Is Harming Software Sales After All

TheLotteryMan1

This is not news to those with common sense. The Xbox fanboys took that comment of Phil/Aaron Greenberg saying GamePass is profitable to be gospel. MS has been hoping that GamePass would go far beyond Xbox subs and become more sustainable, but that clearly isn't panning out. Not sure how anyone thought that paying all these dev's cash to put games on gamepass day one, etc while people are paying $1 and getting 3 years converted would be sustainable.

All that, and GamePass has trained Xbox fanboys to not only not buy games, but to brag about how they don't have to buy games. All they have been doing is announcing revenue with no expenses...this is only surviving on MS's money hoping that one day they can reach those unicorn 2 billion gamers.

Re: Activision Blizzard Exec Says Last of Us HBO Proves Microsoft Acquisition Should Go Ahead

TheLotteryMan1

So on the one hand they are admitting that Sony is better.

On the other hand they are comparing a this HBO series to a franchise that has sold nearly half a billion copies and regularly sells 25-30 million more annually? Yeah, okay. Lolz...

You're not making the point you think you are. Just desperation. I know you're after a huge payday from Microsofts buyout but this really isnt it..Haha.
