Sorry but no. Zelda is my favorite Nintendo IP, but this is unprofessional. Put down the game you're playing for fun, do your job, and then get back to the game you're playing for fun.
I picked up Tears of the Kingdom but it's going to wait until I get my replica rupees in the mail. The kids enjoy Zelda as much as I do, so I decided to make the presentation of receiving the game to be a memorable one.
We have a family treasure chest that we do clue hunts for. Won't be doing the clue hunt this time, but inside the chest, will be the rupees on top of the fake gold coins. I got my daughter's each a heart container necklace and my son will get a couple action figures (Link and Zelda). On top of that, there's the preorder plaque.
So until I get that last piece, it'll be sitting doing nothing. Doesn't matter much for this weekend though as I have two 12 hour days of work to get through.
Interesting seeing Amazon Games on there. That tells me there's a very good possibility that the new Tomb Raider could be shown.
Then with rumors of Uncharted 5 (starring Nate and Elena's daughter) after the last sizzler commercial and seeing Playstation will be there.
Then Microsoft will be there so Indiana Jones could be shown.
That's my trinity of gaming right there... Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones. This could potentially be a very good showcase. That said... I won't hold my breath.
Seeing Netflix on there made me slightly vomit in my mouth... but there are other good possibilities. Capcom has a chance to show they've been working on a Dino Crisis reboot (I don't expect it). EA is there so potentially the next Mass Effect could be shown (I don't expect it). Sega is there... so Shenmue 4 could be shown (I don't expect it).
@JONOFTHEJONS It looks like an absolute waste of time. It's like they want it to be some edgy teen angst anime, but decided to move it to gaming... which in many people's opinions is the wrong medium for this.... project.
I don't expect anyone on this site to care about a gardening game. What I would recommend, especially in today's times, is to start your own REAL garden. Grow your own food. It will help supplement you and your family if food supplies run short in stores like we saw during Covid with supply chain issues.
@Titntin Honestly, been replaying the entire game since it launched last December (only now have gotten to Blood and Wine). Aside from minimal glitches, the game plays great.
@WallyWest I actually replayed Unity last fall and loved it. Played through the entire story without loosing interest like I did with the last two I played. I'm planning to replay Syndicate now that they've patched it for PS5.
Umm... didn't they already reboot the series with MK9 back on PS3? It would be weird to do it twice within 3 titles.
I think what this actually is, is a play on altering time from the story mode from MK11. Still, I get where you're coming from... skipping what would be the 12 and returning to the 1. Interesting to say the least.
I guess we'll see what happens... "soon".
EDIT:
My MK12 hopes:
Every character
Adventure mode gameplay style from Deception making a return for "Story mode"
MK Chess — Yeah... I went there.
Create a character would be cool (as stated above)
This series is a diamond in the rough of modern gaming. I enjoyed the title thoroughly regardless of the 30fps. If you still have yet to play either of the Plague Tale games, I highly recommend it along with the many others in this thread.
After forcing myself to beat Origins, skipping Odyssey and losing interest half way into Valhalla, I'm not sure I'll be buying any more AC games. Used to love them.
Seriously? No crap. A vast majority of developers are wanting to make a game that's going to be considered the best ever. Good games will come and go and being the best is subjective. For me, Naughty Dog made the best game ever with Uncharted 2 way back in 2009. The 4th game came close but couldn't quite dethrone the 2nd. So a close second was back in 2016... seven years ago. Given how the industry currently stacks up, I don't believe any game to be released from here on will beat either of those games.
There isn't going to be anything shown at a Playstation conference because Sony stopped communicating with their user base. They don't do shows. Instead they have these hollow S.O.P mini announcements. At best, expect an update S.O.P. on Spiderman 2 that will align with the new Spiderverse movie to ride the Spidey hype.
@nosoupforyou I'll give you the Advance games but not the others. Adventure 2 was tolerable but not as good as the first. Heroes fell further. I'll remind everyone, it's ok to not agree and have differing opinions.
I'm going to wait to hear more about it and see gameplay. After Origins - Valhalla, if it's more bloatware, I just don't have the time for that anymore. They can promise classic AC all they want, but I'm not going to believe them till I see it.
@Northern_munkey Totally agree. My favorite is still Micheal Crichton. It's one of the reasons I decided to start writing science fiction. Sick of all the pandering that sacrifices potential good stories.
I was a huge fan of Double Dragon on the NES and even bought the 4th game on PS4 when it released. Not a fan of the art style on this title, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
During the PS4 gen, I was basically working on buying one of each fighting game I've enjoyed as a finale. Tekken had yet to happen, so I'm likely to purchase Tekken 8 at some point as the last Tekken game I'll buy.
I believe that if I hadn't managed to buy a PS5 at launch based on the performance of PS1-PS4, I'd still be waiting for a reason to own one a regular PS5... let alone a PS5 Pro. The only game for the system I have that PS4 can't play is Plague Tale Requiem and that's third party. Sony has literally released nothing I care about on PS5 only. Maybe that'll have changed by the time a Pro comes out, but I have my doubts.
Is it trying to remind us because the game was so forgettable? I played the demo, hated it and deleted it. Hadn't given it another thought until this article.
Credit where it's due. I consider Frontiers to be the first decent Sonic game since the first Adventure game on Dreamcast. 1999-2022 is a large gap of mediocrity for 3D Sonic games. The only good one we got between those years was Mania.
I've been an MK fan from the start. Sub-Zero has been my main for that entire time but I've enjoyed many of the characters. Favorites from the series include:
Just beat the first game yesterday. It's a good game to be sure but I'm holding off for a price drop on this one given the massive download requirement for the physical copy. I'll pick it up around black Friday.
I loathe the GaaS space. It's going to be a severely difficult sell for me to spend money on anything they release. The one that has a shot, is if they re-release Warhawk (PS3), but the only way I see myself buying it, is if they've added a single player campaign that doesn't require an online connection to play.
Why do I loathe GaaS? Because when some CEO somewhere decides they aren't making the money they were hoping on the title, all the massive fans of that specific game just wasted all their money. They'll have nothing to show for it as soon as that switch is flipped and the game goes offline. It'll be interesting to see the blowback when Fortnite finally has it's final day.
I might give Grid a go but there's nothing really here for me. Hard to claim unhappiness over a handful of games to try. I don't have a ton of time to even play games these days. Besides, still in the middle of Star Wars Fallen Order which was a Plus game a couple months ago. You win some. You lose some. It evens out.
@DB10 Honestly, I'm a Star Trek guy (80's - Reboot movie trilogy). I never truly enjoyed Star Wars with the exception of Jedi Academy (PC). I'm playing through the first game to this... it's the best Star Wars game I've played and has come the closest to pulling me into the series. I recommend at least giving it a shot. It's a well told story with fun gameplay.
Going to wait for a significant price drop due to the full game not being on the disc version. Has a good possibility of being my Black Friday purchase of the year.
If EA had simply released a two disc version physically with the entire game on disc, I'd have bought it full price as soon as I finish the first.

Re: Site News: Vote for the Best Game of All Time with the Push Square Community
Not an easy task. My top 6:
1. Uncharted Collection (PS4)
2. Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4)
3. Resident Evil Remake (GC)
4. Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection (PS5)
5. Jurassic Park (Genesis)
6. Tomb Raider [2013] (PS3)
If no compilations are allowed then use the following:
Uncharted 2 (PS3)
Mass Effect 2 (PS3)
Ninja Turtles 3 (NES)
Tomb Raider DE (PS4)
