Re: Poll: How Would You Rate The Game Awards 2022?

Uncharted2007

@Boucho11 I have a decent list actually.
1. Dino Crisis reboot
2. Shenmue 4
3. Ninja Turtles (dark and gritty)
4. Uncharted continuation

Then for already existing reveals, I'd like updates on...
1. Mass Effect 5
2. Tomb Raider (new game)
3. Witcher projects
4. Indiana Jones coming to PS5 confirmation (not happening, I know)

Any one of those would have made me happy.

Re: PS5 Games Likely to Remain $70 as Xbox Bumps Prices

Uncharted2007

@KidBoruto I was happy to buy A Plague Tale Requiem (PS5) to support the small studio Asobo at full price. They're going to be lucky to hit 5 million sales for that title as it's new gen only and considered niche. Games like God of War Ragnarok that have a massive fan base and will be accessible to over a hundred million users? Yeah... they'll be fine without me supporting them at launch.

Uncharted2007

Ok... Here's the thing about the $70 releases...

With minimal self-control... if you don't like the $70 price tag... you can wait for a price drop or sale. Example... the new God of War isn't worth $70 to me. It'll be a great game to play through, but I'm not shelling out $70 for it. That means I'll be waiting and I'm ok with that. Seriously... minimal self-control and over time, the price will lower.

Re: The Game Awards Will Be a Shorter Show, But Not by Much

Uncharted2007

I'll root for a couple games per year to get some recognition but I honestly never liked self aggrandizing of shows like this from the likes of Hollywood. The game awards were smart to implement new game announcements. Without those, they really wouldn't be worth watching.

Sadly, I expect nothing to excite me this year so I won't be bothering to watch.
