Re: Major Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Spoilers Break Containment

Voltan

I haven't seen the leaks themselves but I've seen people's reaction to them, so here's my 2 cents as someone who was in the alpha test (and shouldn't be talking about it):

  • the leaks did not come from people who just played the alpha, because none of that was in it - if it was datamined from it, then it's wild that it was in the build
  • people really want to hate this game before even reading a review of the whole thing, let alone playing it themselves

Re: Guilty Gear Strive Grabs a Big Game Awards Character Reveal

Voltan

Honestly it feels like there must be something more than a single DLC reveal - a single character entry in the season pass for a still somewhat niche game just doesn't seem like a TGA scale event if you know what I mean.
Also, unfortunately, if you're an active player, you probably already know who it is...

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Reveals New Dynamic Difficulty Setting Where Enemy Levels Scale

Voltan

@Faruko that's not necessarily it
It could gauge how well you're doing vs how well you **should** be doing considering your level and enemy levels etc and adjust the difficulty according to that
this approach wouldn't necessarily eliminate being able to overpower some enemies later in the game or dying to strong optional bosses if you try to tackle them too early

really depends on how well they implement it

Re: Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising's Open Beta Is Worth a Download on PS5, PS4 This Weekend

Voltan

@ShogunRok I replied to PushSquare's tweet but I'll also mention it here.
The PS5 version unfortunately has currently much more input latency that the PS4 version running on PS5, so I'd recommend using the PS4 version for now (you might need to use the PS App to download it, it didn't show up on my PS5) - which is a shame, because the PS5 version looks noticeably better.
This was also originally a problem with Guilty Gear Strive but was addressed over a year ago, which is why I didn't expect GBVS to have the same problem - but here we are.
Hopefully this gets addressed ASAP.

Re: The Talos Principle 2 (PS5) - An Excellent Philosophical Puzzler

Voltan

I'm currently playing the first one (PS+ Extra ftw) and doing quite alright in it - hopefully I'll manage to finish it and not get stuck.
I really like the music and the narrative.
Sounds like the sequel improves upon it in multiple ways so I'll definitely be looking forward to playing it at some point (maybe not straight after the og though).

Re: Poll: Spider-Man 2 PS5 Bugs are Apparently a Real Problem, But Have You Had Any?

Voltan

So far (in about a dozen hours probably), I’ve had the following, exactly one time each:

  • a side mission related NPC t-posing and losing their head (literally) for no more than 2 seconds, then going back to normal
  • during a crime fight with the other Spider-Man present, the other Spider-Man clipped through the floor during a finisher move
  • a random crime ended and the enemies just up and vanished while I was fighting them
  • I was able to solve one of the Prowler stashes twice
  • in a cutscene, sound other than music disappeared for a short while

I was mildly annoyed at that last one but otherwise no big deal for an open world game.
