Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Is on Nintendo Switch Because It's a Game 'For Everyone'

@DeepEyes I think them intending on attracting PC players to PS consoles will backfire. They’re already putting the sequels onto PC after a few years (HFW and GOW Ragnarok). This will backfire imo since now PC gamers will just wait for a few years. And Sony can port other games to PC to tide them over.

I bet you that Spider Man 2 will come to PC when Beyond the Spiderverse releases (or somewhere around that).

@RoomWithaMoose I’m pretty sure he meant something like Mario or Zelda but it’s not happening since Nintendo is protective of their IP (can’t really blame them). This game is on Switch so it can appeal to younger audiences. But say a Lego Mario or Zelda happens, well it doesn’t necessarily need to be multiplatform, it can stay as Nintendo only since Lego games are primarily geared towards younger audiences and Nintendo is perfect for that type of audience. And ofc you could say Sony did this cuz “more money”.

Re: Silent Hill 2's PS5 Remake Emerges from the Fog on 8th October

@DiggleDog I was watching the stream and I have seen so much people saying "bad" or "woke". Like it was annoying. The game itself looked fine. People were commenting on the framerate issues as well but it was an early build so ofc it will have fps issues. Comment section was insufferable alright...

@Grumblevolcano Doubt it. It’s an HD-2D remake and the Switch has a lot of HD-2D games. It was probably planned for Switch but usually with this HD-2D games, it’s usually some form of Switch exclusivity or just released on fewer platforms. And they will also release it on other platforms later on. But this one, they’re bringing it to ALL the main platforms (minus Xbox one and PS4) so this is a bit new for them.

Re: Rumour: Next Tomb Raider Said to Be Open World, Set in India

For those who don't know who King Ashoka was (I am Indian myself so if this rumor is true, then I am quite happy), let me give you all a bit of background (from Wikipedia so its mostly general knowledge)

Emperor Ashoka aka "Ashoka the Great" was the third Mauryan Emperor of Magadha. He was credited with spreading Buddhism across ancient Asia.

He was a Hindu before becoming Buddhist but he WAS also a very violent emperor. Ashoka loved to fight in wars. He was also apparently stated to be quite cruel as well before converting to Buddhism according to both Sri Lankan and North Indian traditions.

Then came a war. The war is known as the Kalinga War. It was at this war that Ashoka saw the violent, bloodshed and destruction that he felt he was the cause of all of it. And thus he converted to Buddhism and began preaching and devoting himself to ahimsa (non-violence) and dharma vijaya (victory through dharma). He ended the military expansion of his empire and then began an era of peace, prosperity and harmony.

Ashoka's symbols are used in the national flag of India which has the Ashoka chakra in the middle. The state emblem of India is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of Ashoka. I found this all on Wiki and looked up on other sources. History can differ from one source or the other but this is how I saw it.
