Lake is a great, relaxing game. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a chill game with a decent story.

@LifeGirl It's not always about money. I'm sure they are happy just to see a lot of people now playing the game they worked hard on. Besides, they would have been paid a decent amount to have the game included.

@Tharsman You could say that you didn't save money unless you were really going to buy those 3 AAA games if they weren't on a subscription. Which in my experience is rarely the case. Maybe it's true for you, though.

I'm playing Riders Republic right now since it's on PS+ but I wouldn't have bought and played it if it wasn't on PS+. So did I really save any money?

Also, I can't believe the amount of people on PureXbox thinking that Microsoft will pull Xbox out of the gaming market if the deal doesn't go through. Those are just panic statements. I do not see that happening. They've been just fine during the last 22 years without the deal.

Judging from the other comments, I seem to be in the minority here when I say that I'm very happy about a third main game. I've been playing Burning Shores recently and I don't want it to end!

I very much disagree with this review. I am having a lot of fun with this game. It's always exciting to see other people try and like my outpost that I worked so hard on building. Trying some of the creative outposts made by others is a lot of fun, too.

These co-op trophies are so simple. I don't see any problems with them. Looks like an overall good trophy list for a fun looking game.

There's so many games to play these days. As a trophy hunter, having no platinum just gives me a reason to skip this game and move on to others.

Sackboy is really fun. Also a challenging, yet fun, platinum.

@RBMango What are the trophy issues? I'm getting pretty close to the platinum and haven't had any issues with the trophies I've earned so far.

Can't wait! If it's anything like Frozen Wilds then this expansion is great value.

Here we go again with PushSquare thinking Canada doesn't exist. HBO Max is not available in Canada, which is a large part of North America. The Last of Us was streamed on Crave in Canada.

If you haven't already, I highly suggest playing The Vanishing of Ethan Carter before it leaves PS Plus!

I think that in the show they will find a way to have Joel live longer. Maybe he won't die until the end of season 2. Neil and Craig love working with Pedro and the majority of the audience are really liking his rendition of Joel. So I feel like they're going to find a way to keep him around longer, without sacrificing any main story points.

The show just keeps on giving for Sony. It'll definitely help drive sales of the Factions game as well. Can't wait for Factions!

I don't need or want to see anything more about it. We all know what Horizon is. Anything more that's revealed I feel just takes away from the enjoyment of playing it when it's released because it won't feel as fresh.

I've been in the beta for the firmware update for a while and this was the first change I noticed. I'm a trophy hunter so, naturally, any changes to trophies will always be what interests me most.

You won't have to do one more set of wired updates. The first controller update with the new firmware can be done wirelessly.

I've been in the beta for this update for a while. One thing I noticed that isn't listed in the patch notes is the new platinum trophy animation. Be sure to pay attention to the notification next time you get a platinum!

This one hurts. I had countless hours of fun with this game. I earned the platinum in both the PS4 and PS5 versions and they remain two of my rarest platinums at 0.1%.

Unpopular opinion: Scars Above

I'm happy with the selection. I have Mafia and it's a good game. The others are all games I've been wanting to try.

The Bikini Bottom remake was great. This looks pretty similar. I'll probably buy this using my credit I got from PS Stars.

@Controller-Drift I'm very glad that didn't happen. It probably would've been like the Uncharted movie. It was a fine 2 hours of entertainment but it's nothing beyond that. This show is so much more.

I was thinking last night how happy I am that The Last of Us movie never happened. If that movie happened then this show wouldn't exist.

Even over on Pure Xbox, I'll be reading an article and go to the comments and you'll bring up Forspoken there. If you don't like the game, that's fine. But why spend so much energy trying to criticize the game and bring down people who may like it?

The Last of Us is my favourite franchise of all-time. That being said, I hope they move on.

@z0d15g0d Interesting. Yeah for me personally if I really like something, I can watch/play/listen to it over and over and over again and not get bored. Even more so with The Last of Us show since it has lots of changes. I'm excited every week to see the story in a new format and to see the extra details and environments and plot points, etc. that they put in.

@danlk1ng Fair enough. This is the problem with text conversations. You can't hear tone so things can be taken the wrong way sometimes. I'm not saying they are wrong for feeling how they feel. I was just trying to understand why they would feel that way because I have very different feelings on the subject.

Amazing. Better than I expected. I love how true to the game they stay, while also adding extra background and scenes. The casting has proven to be great as well.

God of War is a very good and fun game. It sells well and is held in high regard amongst gamers and the gaming industry as a whole.

There are hundreds of millions of people who don't play video games but do watch movies and TV shows. Releasing it as a new medium will have it reach new audiences. People who otherwise would not experience the storytelling will now be able to, in the form of a TV show. On top of that, it will also reach plenty of the same audiences again, in terms of the people who played the game.

Simply put, it's going to make money and the story is now going to reach a wider audience, so why not do it? It's really that simple. Why try to make arguments that there should be less of something for people to enjoy?
