Hopefully the servers will stay live for several more years though. I've become really paranoid about how I'm going to be able to re-download games in the future and have started to buy physical of my favorite games.
I'd very much prefer a Bloodborne sequel. I just can't see an Aztec theme. While the Aztecs certainly had pretty major cities, I can't see theme having enough to make an entire game from; though Bloodborne was set in a single city to be fair. I think they'd be able to come up with some pretty awesome weapons due to the setting though. I'd be pretty down with it though, and if it pulls out the Miyazaki that made Bloodborne I'd be down for it.
I'm not sure why anyone thought this was going to be set in something akin to Red Dead. Sure, Montana is closer to the west coast, but its boarding Canada an thus gets pretty cold. I'm looking forward to the reveal though. Them setting it in the states is pretty awesome.
@rjejr This will likely be coming out in the autumn/winter, and after the delay of RD2 I can't see them releasing close to one another.
There really should've been an option to choose 4k or 6fps or a hybrid approach ala Nioh. I'm really getting pretty sick of developers not giving people the option to choose how they want to play their games.
Sony can blow me. I was super down for this game, but I'm gonna have to hold off seeing as it's so expensive. It really seems as if Sony actually wants their VR unit it fail.
I don't play early access games, but I think the option should be there. That is dependent on Sony having a refund policy though, it's already a joke you can't get refunds on PSN.
@AFCC It was immensely disappointing that BF1 didn't have a German campaign. There truly was no easily defined good vs. evil so Dice had the perfect opportunity. Seeing a German and Japanese campaign in this would've been good though, might teach some of these antifa goons what true fascism looks like
@FullbringIchigo Sure, it's wack. But it's just one game and it's not like this is the first case of this happening. If you don't like what they're doing just don't buy the game and send them a physical letter telling them why you won't be buying it.
I'm not sure Atlus gives a poo. The games been selling fine, so as far as they're concerned it doesn't matter. People really seem to be blowing this way out of proportion.
This is beyond disappointing. I absolutely loved the first Mass Effect and 2&3 were good too. I really hate seeing Bioware squander such a ripe setting. I won't be surprised when their shutter and ME is passed off to another dev. I'm on the fence about buying it, if for nothing else to see this train wreck myself.
Andromeda is going to suck, EA is going to close Bioware, and I'm going to laugh. Bioware is a joke these days and I'd bet all my savings they're going to be shuttered sooner than people think.
Kojima seems to be going a bit overboard with all the big actors in this game. I think Yakuza 6 did big actors very well and they actually fit in very nicely with what the game was doing. While this seems to be more famous actors for famous actors sake. Obviously I can't speak on the quality of the game until we actually see and play it, and Metal Gear is one of my favorite series in gaming so I trust Kojima, but I'm feeling a bit worried at this point.
@johnny30 You only gave three examples that came out at the beginning of this gen though. While I agree with you to an extent, a ton of stellar games have come out on the PS4. Bloodborne, Outlast, Yakuza 6, Yakuza 0, Steins;Gate 0, Disgaea 5, Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone, Nier Automata, Nioh, Witcher 3, Dark Souls 3, etc. etc. There are plenty of great games that have come out in the past four years. I really hope Andromeda is good because I'm a huge space nut and think we absolutely need a series doing Space Opera. But Bioware really should be ashamed of these animations, and they don't bode well for the rest of the game.
I've been too busy playing Nier Automata right now. I've picked the game up, but Nier is just too good for me to try playing two open world games at the moment and I'll likely play Zelda before Horizon as well. But seeing as there will be quite a lull after Mass Effect comes out I'll likely play it then.
I'm hoping 2 gets the Kiwami treatment as that's probably my favorite from a narrative perspective. It's a great series and I'd love to see everyone give them a chance as I'd love to see a 7th entry in the series. I'd be fascinated to see who they planned on making the new MC, though it would be quite sad not playing as Kiryu. Though I'd certainly be expecting to at least bump into him at some point.
Sorry but discussion of emulation, modding, hacking etc. is not allowed here. -Tasuki-
Christ, people are such children these days. God forbid some fan service leak into our games. People moan about how games need to 'grow up' but then act like children when a woman's body is featured in said games.
I really love this game. It's great to see Final Fantasy back in form. I beat it last night, and I must say they ending really hit me right in the gut. I almost cried because it touched me on a really deep level. Its a really sad and depressing ending for such a colorful and joyful game, but I absolutely loved it. It really made the ending hit twice as hard.
@Boerewors God yes, I would absolutely love a Vita 2. I really think Sony should give it another shot and actually support the Vita this time, as well as not use proprietary memory cards. They day Sony shuts down the servers for the Vita PSN will be a sad day indeed.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi That's not what all games cost though. Games cost anywhere from $0.99 to $60. I didn't have a problem with them going for $60 before the game came out, but after playing it the game is certainly not worth the price. And as far as 'cry babies misunderstanding' the game, that would be Hello Games fault considering how grossly they misrepresented the product.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Movies don't cost $60. Just because you're cool with being taken for a fool and lied to doesn't mean other people are. This is perfectly warranted given how readily Hello Games lied through their teeth.
@JesWood13 Because compared to Fallout 3 and especially New Vegas the game has been downgraded in almost every aspect. The only things I can think of that I like are the improved graphics, handling of the guns, town building, and using power armor. Almost everything else is a downgrade, New Vegas is a vastly superior game. Fallout used to be a proper RPG but 4 is more of an open world FPS with RPG elements.
That's not to say I don't enjoy my time with 4, but coming from New Vegas I was extremely disappointed in Bethesda.
As far as DLC goes, I thought it was cool but including the workshop stuff in the season pass was a bit of a joke.
@get2sammyb For sure, I really can't wait to see where it goes whenever they announce it. More monstrosities please.
@Lolzified I didn't see the Danganronpa thing, but that is really great. I already know I'll be loving P5 so I really couldn't care less about more news on that. It's honestly pretty annoying at this point. And I loved seeing Nioh's release date, though I wish it was coming out sooner.
I was really disappointed not to see Bloodborne 2, but that's also my fault for getting my hopes up for it. I'm really hoping we'll see it at TGS though. Fingers crossed.
@Kidfried He did say gamers were 'entitled' after all. I used to really enjoy him and Greg when they were on IGN. But after Colin threw that meme out I really have a hard time taking him seriously, though Greg is still pretty cool. He does have good points occasionally, though he vastly overestimates his knowledge of the video game industry.
