Man this make me want to replay nier automata again, what a good game. It's criminal squareenix didn't immediately make a sequel (with yoko taro & platinum of course) for this series, I hope we'll get nier automata 2 this gen 😃

At first I disagree since I like gow 1 ps4 story but when I think about it, I think the problem with making stories heavy protagonist is at some point the story end, you just don't care about it anymore.

Compare that to zelda that more heavy on gameplay, nintendo can make zelda games forever and not think too much about the story. In the end, I think it's better to make a new ip if there aren't new story that worth telling for game characters.

I never think "man I wish this console have more power" when I play my ps5, I'm more interested in true ps5 slim, maybe with cute horizontal design like psone back then.

I do wish I have folder on homescreen like ps4 though, I hope I don't need ps5 pro for that lol.

As long as there's option to choose whether to have english or japanese voice, it's not a big deal I think. I like when japanese games have good voice acting though, like most squareenix games (final fantsy series and octopath traveller for example).

Good, great even. Don't be an ea, making a single player rpg focused company like bioware to make live service games. Or squareenix, making single player action heavy focused company like platinum to make live service games.

It will only end badly for both the studio and the publishers, wasting talent and money.

@YeoSprings Playstation focusing on live service games although most of their studio is single player devs is one of the worst decisions that playstation has done. And they spend to much on bungie, just pay bungie to make exclusive single player games rather than outright buying them.

@ChrisDeku I can't speak about other people but I played alan wake on xbox 360 and the moment I know alan wake 2 will have this random people as protagonist I'm not interested in the game anymore. I just want to play 100% as alan wake and don't care about this new protagonist story. And many people seems to think that way.

@ChrisDeku What are you talking about, from the first 1987 zelda games we play as link, rescuing princess zelda, every gamers now about that. You can't just replace the main characters and hope all gamers will buy it.

The game called alan wake 2, it's the sequel for alan wake 1, a game about a guy called alan wake. Maybe the reason the sequels didn't sells because it didn't focus on, you know, alan wake?

Who the heck is this saga person and why gamers mostly play as her and not the person itself, alan wake?

Also epic store exclusivity and no physical media sure didn't help the games sells. And I think the gameplay isn't as good compared to its competitor like dead space remake, resident evil 2 and 4 remake.

Hmm, I've played 24 games, my big hitter is elden ring at 37 hours, number 2 is ff16, my gaming style is role players, my social style is lone wolf, I don't play multiplayer games so the name is true I guess lol.

It's okay, I'll just buy it later when it's discounted on psn. Unlike nintendo games, other publishers games usually discounted just a couple of month after it launch, and as added bonus, the games will be better (updated) and maybe have some free dlc 😃

@Flaming_Kaiser Dude, there's no "diverse" woman body in MK1, all of them are below average looking, and why the heck I want diverse/below average looking in my games? I have enough of that in real life, if I want to see average looking I just go outside.

Heck, I don't think they even make games for western people anymore, AAA devs only make games for california people (with california morals) now, which is: make that male as attractive as possible, do the opposite with the female characters.

Playing final fight and r-type on my evercade exp, and street fighter alpha 2 on my analogue pocket, and finally playing star ocean 2nd story r demo, the game is a bit easy on normal mode, I think the original psone game is harder. The game is good though, I'll try playing it at hard difficulty.

It kind of suck, maybe the devs original design didn't pass the chinese goverment version of ESRB?

Well, at least in chinese games the characters are allowed to be attractive, unlike in AAA western games.

Gaming company would rather put random people rather than comply with voice actor strike, good voice is nice but people play games for the gameplay and graphics, not voice.

I don't like censor but with the realistics graphics games have nowadays, violence is less funny and more kind of unpleasant now.

Also I prefer japanese censor of nudity rather than western censor of "attractiveness", I mean just looks at what insomniac did to mary janes, from cute to whatever that is in spider-man 2 😕

I play, finished and platinum the first game on ps4, but I'm not interested for the second one, already bought it near launch but only play it about 1 hours and kind of lost interest in it. Maybe because the first game feels already done story wise (the quest is complete and the boy finally meet eye to eye with the father) so I'm not interested in the story anymore.

Unless kratos go to other place and fight different gods without the son, or maybe remake of the 1st trilogy but with gow ps4 engine.

Just bought a brand new, new nintendo 2ds xl since I'm in the mood for retro games, it's criminal that so many games lost due to nintendo shutting down the 3ds eshop. In the end I have to homebrew my 3ds so I can play most of the games that I can't find on cart.

Searching for a new physical 3ds cart is a bit hard but rewarding experience though, found new mario bros 2, metroid samus return, animal crossing new leaf, pokemon ultra sun, theatrhythm final fantasy curtain call and bravely default 😃

@MeatyVeg Returnal is made with sony 1st party studio money, this is not, do not expect same graphics or gameplay from this. I prefer great 2D games rather than average 3D one.

I don't like the trend of following great indie 2D games to average indie 3D games, just make beautiful 2D games rather than trying to move to 3D.

Hyper light drifter also got the same fate, rather than making awesome HLD 2, the dev instead make 3D game, solar ash, that just got average reviews 😕

In the other hand, some dev get it, after Trine 3 3D gameplay getting average reception, the dev (frozen byte) going back to it's root, making trine 4 & 5 a beautiful 2D games (with 3D graphcis).

Of course, it's konami after all 😕

I just want to play the game single player only, I don't care about trading, buying mtx, or the shared world, just make it offline on console and I'll buy the game 😕

They should not stayed with dreams, it's a failed games, just make new games that use all of dualsense features, maybe littlebig planet reboot? With single and multiplayer like on ps3 back then.

@truerbluer Yup, making game engine for a console with no monetization is foolish, they should focus on making normal creative games like littlebig planet or tearaway rather than this.

@Foxhound That's nice, I'll try it on my ps5 then. Man I remember playing the 1st game on psvita until midnight back then, the game is really addicting, the sequel isn't as good though since it's kind of cheap with enemies that shoots me beyond the screen, but I finished both games, great games 😃

Already have this on psvita, I don't know if owning the game on psvita make it free on ps5. I remember playing it on ps3 though, the games is best played on portable, not big screen tv.

I just want playstation controller that has ps3 dualshock 3 battery endurance, nintendo switch pro controller and xbox series s/x controller has way better battery than dualsense 😕

Just give me at least 1440p, 60 fps, and fair price, and I'll be okay with that.
