This is a waste of money, the game will launch, fail, and will be shutdown between 6 to 12 month. Just cancel this and fire all the development team, especially the art style team, fire them harder.

Played and finished it on psp way back then, one of my favs trpg ever, I hope someday sony will remaster this game with 1080p/4K and 60 fps, like shadow of the colossus ps4 😃

Just delay the game a couple of month, fire all of their "japanese expert" team, change yasuke to random japanese people (like all their previous ac games), and hire sony ghost of tsushima expert team, done. I'm sure gamers will be hyped again for the game if ubisoft done that.

I must say, it's really impressive that one game can make diplomatic problems with the japanese though, ubisoft really trying hard to make japanese angry lol.

I want baldur gate 3 and dragon age: the veil guard collaboration so we can get no cloth option for the game. Or maybe the game has to be esg/dei compliant first to be able to do that lol.

You can't make a hero shooter where all the hero is lame as heck. Overwatch 2 is free, they just got a cute character juno, who the heck want to play (and buy accessories) in concord as "granny", an "overweight man", "pronoun robot", etc and paying $40 for it?

$500 console and $70 games in this economy is a bit too much I think. At this point in ps4 life sony already decrease the price of ps4 console, we need a cheaper and smaller ps5 slim, not more expensive one.

It's looks like a ps5 games right now, man I really want to play this but as a shooter or rpg games (like oblivion) rather than resource collecting games. I think this is the most updated games ever, besides mmo or live-service games.

@RoomWithaMoose Male, Asian/Indonesian. My favs games are castlevania sotn (starring not even human but half-human half-vampire), metal gear solid snake psone (starring solid snake, an american person), and tlou 1 (starring joel and ellie, a very white american male and female person).

I play games to escape reality, to become someone else in different world, I think it's boring if I only play games that have asian male as protagonist, when in gaming, I can be anyone, even a sun goddess, amaterasu

I tried the demo on steam festivals a couple of weeks ago, the game is kind of weird, gameplay wise it feels like a ps2 games in its weirdness. Seems like a good game but not for me.

@zhoont Sure, I agree freedom of speech is important, every country has law though, so you can't just do whatever you want. As long as that country doesn't restrict it's people to move out (like north korea), people can move out to others country that suits them better.

@Deityjester To be fair, it's their first big AAA console game, so maybe they want guidance from one of the big console makers. And considering the choice are either sony or xbox (nintendo switch console is too weak for stellar blade graphics), they prefer the console that sells the most.

I played this on psp when its released way back then, it's a really good trpg game, good gameplay and good story. It's my favs trpg games beside final fantasy tactics and vandal hearts 1

It's the total opposite of ghost of tsushima, I think ubisoft should consult sony instead rather than their current japanese consultant lol.

Just like bioware, rocksteady already dead and what's left is just a brand. The talented people already left, even the co-founders already gone. No wonder the can't make a good game anymore.

In the end, you have to make a good game, in this era of great indie games, a "just okay" game like this one just doesn't cut it anymore.

I don't understand the term "review bomb", if players don't like the game, they will review the game badly.

Isn't that games already have AI from the beginning, I means most enemies in games didn't just sit down while players punch or shoot them, gaming company should be in front of this AI revolution from the beginning I think.

VR is kind of evolutionary dead end, I think even apple can't make it works. I had psvr1 back then, it was cool for about 1-2 weeks, after that I sold it and go back to traditional console gaming on the couch, and pc gaming.

I more relaxed playing games on the couch with big tv rather than strapping my head with helm like device.
