People are sick of live service shooter games, they already have fortnite, cod, and apex. If ubisoft want to make successful shooter live service games, they need to make better game than those 3 titles.

@PoeticJustice At this point I think it's the quality of their employee, they have so many people but their games is buggy as heck. And after reading the news that their employee are going on a strike because they don't want to go to office 3 days a week because the company really need them to fix their games, yeah, ubisoft is done if they can't find better employee, and fast.

Why bought games $70 at release when you can buy it at least half price 6 month later? Thanks to modern gaming I don't have FOMO anymore and it saved me so much money lol.

I think I'm only hyped for japan/chinese/korea AAA games and indie games now.

ps. It's kind of wild that EA make better star wars games than ubisoft, when I heard star wars isn't exclusive to EA anymore way back then, I though ubisoft will make better games than EA.

@Northern_munkey I go where the good games are, it's on japanese back on psone and ps2, then it's on western side on ps3/xbox 360 era, it's both on japan and western side on ps4. Now on ps5, it seems for single player story games, the western AAA games is no good, the japanese/chinese/korea is where the good games are.

I'm only talking about single player AAA games of course.

I like playstation symbol buttons, although maybe that's because after playing parappa the rapper on psone back then, I remember correctly where the x, square, triangle, zero, L1 and L2 button like the back of my hand, lol.

I mean, you had me at "gorgeous" and "metroidvania", I'm 100% buying this 😃

It will be really cool of nier automata 2 is using this engine optimized for ps5 and pro 😃

@Ainu20 Because there's 2 mongol invasion, and people though sony will continue jin story about the second invasion rather than doing time jump with this new protagonist.

It's pretty good, with the exception of all the vr only titles, new modern dragon age, and alan wake dlc, the games list is pretty good 😃

Did you know ubisoft make ac shadow figurine that have one legend tori gate for assassin creed shadow? The problem is the only one legged Torii gate in Japan is the one that has half destroyed during WW2 when the atom bomb hit Nagasaki.

When I think ubi could no longer go lower with this game, they did.

Edit: Huh, I though we also get the 2D game blood omen legacy of kain, I hope blood omen is included in this collection, I played and finished blood omen, soul reaver 1 and 2 way back then.

I think most AAA publishers will be bankrupt if they have to increase the graphics fidelty again, ps4/ps5 graphics (uncharted 4, tlou 2, astro bot, ratchet & clank) with 60 fps is enough for me.

Already bought the game digitally on ps5 but I also play on pc/steam, there are a lot of games on steam, most didn't make me sign to another service, I rather not play the games/refund the games and play other games rather than login to another service.

I don’t mind somehing like resistance 1-3 remaster or remake but horizon zd remake? While the original already has good graphics and 60 fps? Yeah, no thanks.

How the heck this game cost 400M? It’s not an open world games like gow ragnarok or blockbuster movie-like games like uncharted 4.

Game like this is best played on handheld but I kind of want that 4K & 60 fps, wish sony has steam deck like ps4 portable.

I mean, he's not wrong, whatever the price is worth it or not is a different matter, but you can't built a pc with the same specs as ps5 pro with $700. Heck even the video card will cost that much, not including motherboard, ram, 2tb nvme ssd, good power supply, xbox/ps gamepad, etc.

But why though, we already got 60 fps on ps5, and pc already got the game with whatever resolution and framerate according to the pc specs, I don't think there's any person that looks at horizon zd and think, "hmm, I need More graphics" 😅

@Buckster Man, I just want a remake of ff7, I don't have problem if it's not a 100% beat by beat story of the psone game, but at least I don't want weird thing in it, like the ghost thing in the ps4 game, or (according to the commercial) multiverse in ps5 games 😕

I can't believe how blurry the 60 fps mode is at ps5, maybe I'll get this game after ps5 pro launch, if the console didn't cost too much in my country. I know youtube compression suck but I can see clearly on my 4K tv the difference between ps5 60 fps mode vs ps5 60 fps mode.

I like the first remake but kind of disappointed with the pararell story so I haven't buy the second one.

I watched the gameplay on youtube and I think the ps3 version is the best compared to the repop mode, wish they just make the ps3 version with 1080p & 60 fps and be done with it, no need for repop mode.

Kind of true, you can watch youtube video for building a pc but not everyone have the time for that. I'm used to build my own pc but the reason I mostly play AAA games on console is because it's waay easier to set my tv and home theatre with console rather than pc. Windows and tv play <really> don't mix well.

Prince of persia movie is good, I like that movie, assassin creed movie is very very bad, I don’t have much hope for this watchdog movie.

Yes 60 fps is more important than better graphics, resolutions, or RT for ps5, since the graphics are good enough. Ps4 graphics (ghost of tsushima, tlou 2, etc) with 60 fps is good enough for me.

Kind of suck but that's life, although rather than uber maybe they should works on IT on non games related company.

I think western gaming company has so much excess compared to japan, korea, and now chinese gaming company, it's okay when the money is good but now when there's recession, well the excess is cut. If Astrobot only need 3 years to make with 60+ people, why spend more for making games with 8 years dev time with 300+ people.

Anything is better than concord original design, the game is closed in 2 weeks with the original design 😅

That's a nice added value, if only it comes with disc drive and stand maybe people will only grumble a bit rather than shocked at the $699 price.

I rarely use my ps5 disc drive so digital only isn't that much inconvenience for me, so 2tb ssd upgrade is nice. It's just, most ps5 games I played already 60 fps so I don't know what I'll used ps5 pro for, 4K is nice but not $699 nice, and I don't care about RT.

I think it's not expensive for what it offers, but what it offers is not worth the upgrade from the original ps5.

I already got 60 fps games from most ps5 games, even with open world games like elden ring and others, ps5 pro is kind of unnecessary.

I though the price gonna be $600 for ps5 pro digital and $700 for ps5 pro disc, stand included. That we're getting $700 ps5 pro with no disc and no stand is kind of crazy. Ps5 is the new $599 ps3 lol.

And all of this for what, more resolutions and framerate? I rather have more exclusives games that's not available anywhere, like ps1 to ps4 back then.

@PuppetMaster Yeah, I already played it and I think it's a 6-7 game, interesting but I still have so many backlog so I won't play it now. It's not a 3 game, imho.

@GymratAmarillo Squareenix is a weird company, the fact that yoko taro game like nier didn't sells but they still try with him and put him with platinum games to make nier automata is great, I don't think any other publishers will try that (nintendo is the only exception).

But like I said, they're a weird company so after selling millions rather than making the sequel, they made yoko taro make a card game, and platinum make live service games. I mean, why?

@PuppetMaster Yeah I forgot about korean devs lol, stellar blade and the first descendant is good. I prefer stellar blade though since I like single player games more.

Nope, I rather play on my analogue pocket or buy arcade cart for my evercade rather than renting retro games like this.

They should ask concord developers how to handle server capacity, say what you will about the game, but that game launch smoothly without server issue 😉

Oh brother, there's like, huge dormant sony ip catalogue spanning from psone to ps3, if sony want a platformer, just make an ape escape games by the maker of astro bot ps5, strategy rainbow six-like military shooter? well, there's socom, scifi shooter? there's either killzone or resistance, twisted metal for car combat, etc.

The reason I like playstation is because their exclusive single player games, now they port all their exclusive games to pc for a short term quick buck, and focusing on live service games.

What even is playstation anymore, before it's the only place to play big budget movie like games like uncharted 4, ghost of tsushima, god of war ps4, etc, now it's just a console you bought because you don't want a pc? What a downgrade.

@Vault_Mcfly Maybe at that time steam will make steam deck 2 and steam console 2 with good enough specs, so you can play steam games with console-like ease of use. The steam deck oled is expensive in my country though, it's the same price as ps5 slim disc.

I don't want anything to do with multiplayer games, even with online games I only play the single player one (like genshin and maybe later, zzz). It's because it's not the reason I bought playstation console.
