I mostly play retro games (analogue pocket, evercade exp, new 2ds xl) and nintendo switch games nowadays.

This has to be a guardian of the galaxy game before it's been repurposed as this new ip, the characters are a straight copy of that movie! It's like they only change the characters colours, add some yellow there, red here, etc.

Maybe it's a failed marvel collaboration between sony and disney, then sony backing down because marvel movies aren't selling anymore and repurposed this as a new ip.

It's okay, not great but isn't bad either, I means there's astro bot so at least there's one game that I want to play from that state of play. Monhun wilds looks great but I already tried monhun world and rise and it's not my kind of games since I like either rpg or full-on action like devil may cry.

@Matthewnh Joining psn also means agreeing to their TOS, which means they can ban you from things that you can do on steam, but not from psn. Most pc gamers rather have not buying sony games (or getting it on high seas) rather than joining psn on their pc.

This is why I mostly play retro and indie games now, bought analogue pocket, a brand new nintendo 2ds xl, evercade exp, and switch online subs (family pack) to play nintendo 64 games on my switch, I rarely bothers with AAA gaming anymore 😕

I hope hello games make single player games with its procedural generation engine but rather than a lot of planet, just make 1 earth equivalent planet with it's biomes, I think it will be amazing

@get2sammyb Sony censor other games that's not censored on nintendo switch, if it's up to them I think shift up will backtrack on the cloths because they will have more sales that way. Also their other games have lewder clothes.

The reason sony censor the games is because they don't want their DEI/ESG score decreases because of this game.

I think there's a clause in their contract that said they can't bad mouth sony and everything they said about the game has to be approved by sony, because shift up other games (nikke) is way lewder lol.

Oh well, in the end although the game is censored, the gameplay is really good and protag is still way better than what western developers make.

Sony rather not sells their games rather than sells their games without psn integration. I think helldiver 2 psn integration will be coming again in the future 😕

@z0d15g0d I think making psn account will always be free, but multiplayer won't be free even when playing on pc (in the future), that's why sony is so intent on psn integration with their pc games.

@Mikey856 Yup I agree, nintendo doesn't play heavy story based games and its 3rd party support usually isn't as good as playstation. Both console is in different market.

But if their next console has both nintendo 1st party titles and 3rd party support (since its rumored switch 2 is as powerful as ps4 pro), most people will think it's "good enough" for them and buy 1 console rather than ps5 for tv gaming and switch for portable play and nintendo 1st party titles.

Although maybe they'll make wii u 2 instead rather than switch 2, you never know with nintendo lol.

It make ps5 not special anymore sincel all of its games can be played on other platform (pc). Now I only think ps5 as 3rd party box, if switch 2 has at least ps4 pro power and sdd, I don't need ps5 anymore.

And the subs is super expensive too, psplus essential at $80 compared to discounted $40 on ps4 era, nintendo + expansion family subs is waay better value at about $12 peryear 😕

Cod sells million of dollars, microsoft is a fool if they put the game on gamepass, especially if they want to get out of console race and become 3rd party publisher.

Gaming is more like a book than music or movie, you can't drive your car while playing games (unlike driving and listening to music), and I don't think you can finish normal AAA or indie games in one day (in saturday or sunday), unlike watching a couple of season of netflix series or a movie.

Rather, gaming is like a book where you have to spend a couple of hours reading that one book, you can't be distracted by anything else, so a service that offer too many games is kind of useless since you rarely have time to play it all. That's why most people bought games and books, rather than using subscription services like watching movie or listening to music.

Subscription in gaming is more of an addition to your main games rather than the primary ways to play games, like playing retro games (nes, snes, gba, n64) on my switch with a cheap family subscription (about $12 per year), or playing indie games that I missed (like tunic) on psplus.

Before my psplus expires though since I don't plan to buy a $80 subscription service peryear, lol.

I'm glad some developer still have a sense of fun, good for sony too since they backtrack on their psn integration plan 😃

Good, sony has to understand pc and console market are different, I'm sure if pc players didn't reject this integration, sometimes in the future sony will have pc players pay for psplus for playing sony multiplayer games.

In the end it's good that sony didn't force this integration.

Considering how many times psn got breached by hackers, I don't think linking your steam account to psn is a good thing security wise 😕

I don't like linking my gaming account to each others, if I play on steam there's no way I want to link my account to others gaming portal (like ubisoft, ea, sony, etc).

Tunic make psplus this month worth it 😃

@Ainu20 I had my fun for 12 hours, I didn't have fun after that. The punishment for dying is too severe, it's like they padded it so the game can be longer, I'm glad I bought the game on bluray rather than digital back then. I think they should just make the game 3-4 levels and sells it for $50 rather than padded it with samey levels and sold it for $70.

I do think housemarque can make a wicked 3D megaman games if they collaborate with capcom, housemarque handle the gameplay and capcom the rest

It's super weird that some of the reviewer score the game lower because the protagonist is too sexy though, although the body is scanned from real korean woman. But they don't have problem with full frontal nudity on titles like baldur gate 3, all of them are hypocrate lol.

I don't think the game is good as the first one, it's weird that most of the time you're playing not as alan wake, and the gameplay is worse compared to other horror titles like resident evil 4 remake. Also digital only plus epic store only is a death sentence for any games, they should make ps5 physical version and steam version day one.

The game is good but there's no way it should cost $70. I bought it on launch day, have fun with it for 12 hours, after beating the third boss I realize the game actually have only 3 level only changed the environment just a little bit.

After that I sold the game and watched the ending on youtube, I'm glad I didn't finish the game final boss (considering the difficulty and repeated level), the ending is horrible, it doesn't finish or even explain the story setting at all.

Playstation 5 market is still too small for true 3rd party exclusive, squareenix has to develop games for either ps4 or at least pc to recoup the development cost. And fire every executive that greenlighted forspoken.

Also I think most people actually want ff7 remake, it's okay if the story a bit different, but ff7 remake/rebirth is a sequel with multiverse, I don't think that what gamers want. That's why the second game isn't selling as good, casual player already know it's not a true remake.

I wish there's steelbook for the physical disc version, I want to buy the physical version but I don't like ps5 disc cases compared to switch cases.

@DennisReynolds If it's not important and just a little change, why change it at all. And keep in mind it always censoring to cover it up and not vice versa. Why baldur gate 3 can have full frontal nudity, tlou 2 can have nudity in sex scene, but stellar blade have to cover it up. I don't have problems if the censor is for all the game, either it asia or western games.

I still like the game but I still don't like the censorship. And spider-man 2 is a western games, I'm sure if insomniac make peter parker nude outfit sony won't censor it 😕

It's just racist I think, asia games have to be censored while western games like baldur gate 3 can have full frontal nudity, and I think there's sex scene uncensored in tlou 2. Sometime the truth is actually quite simple.
