Mass Effect 2 & 3, Red Dead, Dead Space 2, InFamous & Dishonored were some of the games that defined the PS3 era for me. Mass Effect 2 is the my no1 favourite game of all time.
Am hoping that i can actually join my friends for the new GTA heist after it was disabled on Wed night when it said i had to do the tutorial (did the tutorial years ago). Will also be continuing with Kingdom Hearts tonight and maybe BioShock Burial At Sea DLC.
I have a huge backlog in PS4 games going back to nearly when it was first launched. I keep adding titles to the collection knowing that i won't get a PS5 until at least late next year.
Some decent games there. Obviously Crash 4 at the beginning and Godfall at the end but one or two of the indie titles did get me noticed like The Pedestrian (love a good puzzle/platform game). I think some people expected far too much on YT.
This weekend will consist of the continuation of Doomsday Heist in GTA Online and starting Journey for the first time which is a game i picked up on PS Plus that i have been meaning to play for quite some time.
I started Resident Evil 2 Remake yesterday with some trepidation as i was not a fan of the franchise. However, i was pleasantly surprised with how it went so will definitely play more. Otherwise it is the usual GTA Online over weekend with continuation of Doomsday Heist. I also seem to have gone off FF7 Remake for some reason.
Have recently completed both BioShock 1 & 2 as part of the collection so won't be getting it for obvious reasons. Thought that first BioShock was better than the 2nd one even though 2nd one was decent.
After completing Borderlands earlier this week, i am now moving on to the DLCs. Completed Zombie Island of Dr Ned DLC which was meh so am hoping the other 2 DLCs are better. Other than that i might get back to Final Fantasy 7 seeing Remake is delayed until early April and maybe delve more into GTA Online.
Hope to finish Assassin's Creed 2 and BioShock 2. Received Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Far Cry New Dawn on Christmas Day to add to my ever growing PS4 collection.
Oo definitely want this. I agree that February is getting busy and will only add to my current backlog of PS4 games that i already have in my possession. Still i can't complain and will get PS5 once i am ready.
At first glance i thought not a great month but i am intrigued by "Whatever Happened To Edith Finch?" so may give that a look. After all i loved Rime when that was a free game last year. I just wonder whether as a Free PS Plus we should get games that were released way back in 2013 or 2014 or have more indie titles alongside the odd AAA game. It is a shame that PS4 is not backwards compatible with PS3 games cause that would have opened up a huge library.
Played the closed alpha on Anthem and maybe later on tonight i will play some more Spyro 2 on the Reignited Trilogy especially as i have now reached the Winter world.
Am continuing to play Spyro Reignited Trilogy and spent ages trying to get to both secret areas in Tree Tops to carry on with 100% for each level. Also spent 37 mins completing Wild Flight.
I have received the e-mail from Playstation EU today regarding redeeming a code by 31 Oct to get 3 months free Netflix. I live in the UK so it doesn't just apply to North America it seems.
This was so much fun to play at EGX in Birmingham last weekend. Brought so many memories of playing it back on PS1. Looking forward to it being released in November.
I loved playing the demo at EGX. Certainly a game that i am looking to purchase next year. Very atmospheric, some jump scares, those dreaded choices and of course being quick with the QTEs lol.
@suikoden It definitely doesn't sound like a 9 though lol. Only way to judge it though is to buy and play the game. Only Tomb Raider I played was the original back on PS1 and the controls were terrible. Put me off Tomb Raider for life lol.
Am currently playing Far Cry 5, God of War and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Looking forward to getting my hands on Dragon Quest XI and Spiderman this coming week.
I do remember those days of buying a monthly magazine to see previews of games that were coming out in the future and reviews of games that were already out. Occasionally with a free disc as well. Now it is so much easier using the internet with daily updates and news on platforms such as Push Square
I have just got back into Destiny 2 after having a lousy cold for past one and a half weeks. Have still not yet completed the story because of that but am not far of finishing.
It is annoying that maintenance happens during the late afternoon and evening times in UK each Monday. However, it won't affect me today as I am suffering with a heavy cold so won't be playing any games until I feel nearly 100% better.

Re: A Whopping 10,000 PlayStation Games Now Support Trophies
Level 13 with 0 Platinums. Probably because i don't go seeking for 100% trophy completion. Although i am close to my 1st Platinum with Spyro 3.

Seems to me that IGN have over scored on this one and the general consensus is that it is going to be an average 6 to 7 out of 10.
