Re: Rumour: Concord Cost $400 Million, Sony Believed It Was the 'Future of PlayStation'

That sounds like sensational nonsense sorry. Because it is/was a big story some troll has put it out there that's it's Sonys most expensive game ever .
Let's look at some quick facts, firewalk has a headcount of 179 people at it's peak, insomniac 450, santa Monica 250, ND 450, polyphony 300 etc etc
Also sony did not own or pay for development of this game until several years after development.
There's more but I can't be bothered cause it's likely sensationalism and it's more likely including the cost to BUY THE STUDIO

Still 59.99 on Amazon so either it's not really applicable to most retailers or it hasn't happened.

Either way buy one now then if you think you'll need it.

There are some low IQ people on the Internet though suggesting a sudden price increase is because of Concord. My favorite I've read today is they're launching PS5 pro to appease shareholders because of Concords failure. As if they just quickly put together a console a few weeks after Concord failed to profit. The Internet , Bastion of zero intelligence

Re: Sony Execs Seem to Think the Company Doesn't Have Enough Original IP

This wasn't about gaming, I can't believe these quotes have been twisted about gaming. When it's obvious PlayStation has a treasure chest .

It was directed at TV and more precisely movies. As sonys biggest property is spiderman which isn't their own . He wants a greater range of original powerful IP at the media studios.
Along the likes of star wars, wizarding world, fast and furious, Jurassic park, MCU etc etc.
Not an easy task.

The majority of pc only gamers have no interest in FF.

The majority of Xbox only owners have no interest in paying big money for FF. They wouldn't be Xbox only players if they had an affinity for that ip.
Square are kidding themselves, they need to look at their insane budgets for these FF games that started with 13 and 13 versus (15)
The series isn't that popular anymore to sustain God of war style budgets
