digital foundry sources also confirm there is a deal with Sony behind the scenes, Sony has any right to money hat any 3rd party game, the problem is that the dev has claimed platform limitations for xbox and that's real unethical if the rumors are true

Sony's strategy with gaas was so designed to fund 1st party games witch cost has tripled in the last few years, now with this hot potato on their hands and Factions 2 cost witch also lost I hope they have a plan B cause things aint looking well right now!

at this point they should have turn the game f2p, there is no point anymore after those disappointing numbers, what they're waiting for? Maybe people who payed for it will be wrathful but it is what it is.

I'm playing the game and I'm having good fun with it, I love the artwork and the gorgeous environments, it feels so magical and nostalgic, the music is amazing. The story is good so far and I like the chrs and combat with the various builds! It's a pretty damn good game but it's sad that the studio is closing down!

Maybe it wasn't a deal of time exclusivity, maybe Sony paid the devs to accelerate the port and ms didn't. @get2sammyb is it true Sony is actively marketing the game in Asia?

If Hermen Hulst saw pre builds of the game and thought "we have something really special here" then I can say with confidence Sony will face way more difficulties ahead and it's is very disturbing

Sad to see it's doa, Sony should have made it free to play after the disappointing beta numbers. Feel sorry for the developers and their 8 years of hard work.

They need playstation base to generate money because gamepass isn't making enough for them. So eventually there will be more games to come to ps and I assume games that have always been multiplatform like The elder scrolls, doom, eg and gaas will be there as also the new timed exclusives like blade and Indiana

In other words we don't sell much software because gamepass, we don't see growth in gamepass subs, hardware sales are falling drastically but you know what? others will follow our strategy too! lol this guy is full of corp Sh@t talk. Sony and Nintendo will never put their games to xbox that's for sure.

Well finally the rumors where true and there it is, ms is going full 3rd party and the final nail to xbox coffin was placed. rip playstation and Sony wins again.

@get2sammyb same goes for the opposite, this is the same guy that said Starfield will come to ps and it never happened. Guess we'll have to wait and see because it's seems very strange and odd ms to agree and pay Disney for only 6 months of exclusivity when the game is made from their own studio, something feels very odd here.

looks like very low settings but can't judge for sure because the video quality sucks.

If you guys think a game never looked so good then you must see Hellblade2, this comes nowhere near the graphic fidelity HB2 has. It screams AA from miles. And probably this is not in game gameplay but a cutscene.

What a waste of working hours and money

@get2sammyb didn't they make a price cut at the first quarter and after they seeing the couldn't catch the number they where predicted? I remeber finding ps5 slim for -99€ back then. Not an official price cut but they did lower it for some period of time to boost sales

With 50m MAU still on the ps4 I think this is the reason ps5 sales are slowing down, Sony did try at the beginning of the generetion to push players to ps5 "we believe in generation" but the reality was different. the pool was very big to not release games for the last gen. With the most engaging games like fortnite/minecraft/roblox/fifa/nba/cod eg still releasing on older gen consoles this gen has a serious problem to dominate.

The game will be free to play August 8 -15 on epic store for everyone that wants to try it! It was on my radar but the mixed reviews stall it for me, I'll check it on epic store first.

120h on it now and I can see the points the reviewer has issued but I think the score is unfair. A 3/10 score is for broken unfinished, unpolished and trash games and this one is none of the above. I'm enjoying the game with friends and farming for end game now and I haven't spend a dime. The game has an average of 100.000 players on steam and I'm sure more on consoles and seems it's going very well.

-Items drop rates are bad (they fix that on latest patch with a secure drop after many tries)

@BAMozzy this is exactly whats happening, people want conspiracy theories and one of them is that Series S is a potato witch is false. The narrative they're trying to push is that there is a "hardware" problem with the Series S witch is also a lie! There is nothing wrong with the tiny console just small inexperience studios that don't have the time and money to optimize for more systems. From what we have seen so far there isn't a big AAA studio complaining about the Series s but the smaller ones. Larian is the perfect example for this, at first they said it was the system ram fault but at the end with the help of the xbox engineers they have admitted that there was a big headroom there and the optimization they made for the Series S it would benefit the biggest systems too. So as anyone can see there is no hardware problem with the console as the narrative goes on in social media but the lack of skills/time and money the smaller studios don't have the privilege to spare.
As for the wuKong I don't think Sony money hat the game but only time will tell.

I don't know how a 3rd part will be interesting, their stories have been told there is nothing more to tell imo, only a prequel looks like a good idea.

@get2sammyb do u know if they counting psvr2 and portal sales in these numbers? because Sony never gives sales for these devises there was a rumor psvr2 and portal sales are combine with ps5.

Their first prediction was for 25m sales and they evaluate it to 21m

Relishing AAA games on ps5 with only 50m user base was a very bad decision, they should at least made a pc release 6m later.

Grounded is amazing especially if you have kids for co op it's pure fun, I finished pentiment twice to see different choices n consequences, amazing game with well written story and characters, Obsidian seal of quality!
Hi fi was a surprise game for me like the way they shadow dropped it, I don't like games with multiple combos and very fast pace combat but this game has something special when it combines it with the beat! Pure magic, well level design and boss fights, loved the 3d to 2d transformation the game does in some areas! pure fun.
I guess Starfield will be in the next wave of games they'll release because as they say "where there is smoke there is fire"

Everyone said they are wasting time and money for factions 2 and for remasters-remakes. I can't see how this is a good thing at this point in the middle of the generation and their bigger project doa. I hope till the end of the generation they will release at least one Single Player game because this looks really bad for the studio with only remaster and remakes in this gen.

It's not the joke, I think it's the wrong time and place to make these kind of jokes where all the gaming industry is watching. It's offensive and disrespectful to a bunch of people in the industry. If he was making a fun of forspoken by the way for been a bad game it will still be offensive and disrespectful to developers even everybody in the industry know that cod campaign is bad and forspoken is trush. You just don't make this kind of jokes in a stage that the whole world and all developers are watching.

I'm in the EU and from what I see around me playstation is selling well because of the brands name and lack of MS Marketing. When you tell a person to name one console the first name will come to his mind is "playstation", so that's no surprise, EU has always been a ps playground.
