Re: Preview: Star Wars Outlaws Thrives in Its Rewarding Open World

Have the PR people at Ubisoft been telling review sites to give this game a glowing preview? Because last month you rightly reported how poor it was and now both yourselves and Eurogamer seemingly are trying to sell it to us all.

This game gives off that post E3 WatchDogs where we all started to see the game for what it was after they hoodwinked us all into believing it was next generational graphics and animations. This is what they do and why so many people hate Ubisoft. No it’s not because it’s the cool thing to do. It’s because they deceive the purchaser for as long as possible right until release day because they focus too heavily on release dates and shareholders.

Who remembers that video someone created of Watchdogs before release and after release and how barren the game was in the end. It was depressing, they then did the same thing with The Division. So yeah, peoples hatred for Ubisoft can be easily justified

I have a feeling, and it’s just that, that they might do something with a certain down and out trio (not spoiling) who eventually come to Kiryu and the gangs aid at the Millennium Tower . Something about the conversations Kiryu had with them about helping Kasuga had me thinking that maybe they’ve got a story direction lined up featuring them. Just a hunch

Also, a number of the cast from Judgement appearing in the past two Like A Dragon games. Perhaps they’re starting to wind down Judgement stories and bringing that cast in to Like A Dragon games?

Re: Scathing Star Wars Outlaws PS5 Previews Unfavourably Compare Gameplay to PS Vita's Uncharted: Golden Abyss

They can’t help themselves can they?!? They always have something lurking in the background with these trailers. If the games not good as it is they need to postpone and take the L on contract obligations in order to make sure it’s worthy of the high price they deem their games to be. Otherwise this is likely going to be one of those Ubisoft games that quickly fills up second hand store shelves

Re: DOOM: The Dark Ages Rips and Tears Day One on PS5

I’m sceptical, I keep thinking about the previous game and how you knew which areas were going to be action and which would just be traversal rubbish during your first playthrough. I do like the modern Doom action and mechanics but with each version they seem to be getting away from the origins of why Doom was so great. Narrow corridors, walls disappearing suddenly and monster rushing at you, that kind of suspense. Now he’s just this all killing super knight and it’s starting to get dumb and stale

Re: Some PlayStation Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over LEGO Horizon Being on Switch

Why it’s not on Xbox is baffling, denying a Lego game to parents who want to play a Lego game with their children is a bad look for any platform. I’m glad it’s on Nintendo, there should be no excuse to not put it on Xbox unless of course it’s a technical thing what with having a S and X version to tune up and it will be coming later on?

Anyone who is complaining about this are clearly under the age of 16 and are locked in that schoolyard mentality of which is the best console.

Two game minimum VR showcasing by Sony. Same as the last show and the show before. It’s pitiful, at the very least, get someone who can listen to people and try and get some ports of old PSVR1 games over.

I wouldn’t get too hyped for this just yet as Survivos work can and has been weak. Plus it’s multi platform so it might not receive the attention for the PSVR2 as it would for say the Quest 3.

Re: PSVR2's Anticipated PC Adaptor Appears Imminent

They have stock to get rid of and this is a cheaper alternative for PC players to buy into VR for their systems. The system would be a success if it was priced around the levels that the first one was (£200). The current one should have been marked up as a pro version for the suckers like myself to buy for the extra visual clarity.

The whole thing has been managed appallingly but that’s Sony for you when they’re not fully behind something

Re: Frostpunk 2 Forecasts Post-Apocalyptic Survival Strategy and Cutthroat Politics

I would have been upset about the console exclusivity but I watched some of the beta footage from the PC build and it doesn’t really interest me anymore. I really loved the race against time to build everything before the big storm arrives in the first one but that’s not in the new one from what I read. One of the hardest platinums to achieve in my opinion, gave up trying after months of trying
